A comfortable and cozy B&B located in walking distance of Jim Thorpe downtown. Dedicated parking is available for guests. A Victorian styled home with cozy warm heating. The best part is the amazing host who cares for your comfort beyond your expectations. Unexpected bonuses: while breakfast was included, we got an excellent customized and delicious breakfast each morning and a library of great books for times we spend indoors. Matt also had board games for indoor entertainment for our 10 year old. I would recommend the Hillcrest B&B for your Jim Thorpe vacation in a blink of my eye.

If you are looking for a place to stay in Jim Thorpe, look no further. Comfortable and romantic rooms, private bathrooms, good mattresses, air conditioning, it had everything we needed. Our room did not have a TV, which we knew up front, and it helped us to plan more activities and make the most of our stay.

I've been quoted saying that making breakfast is like writing a love letter to yourself. Our wonderful hosts at Hillcrest B&B wrote us love letters every morning. We got to pick from a simple, yet effective breakfast menu and start our day with a delicious home-cooked meal and fresh fruit.

The hosts were also thoughtful and attentive. I mentioned how much I enjoyed the watermelon with breakfast on the second day and they made sure to provide more watermelon with breakfast later in the week. I mentioned being sore from our bicycle riding and asked about a bathtub stopper. I was taken aback when I was given a tub stopper and a bag of Epsom salts and a local newspaper. It was unexpected and very kind.

The next time we are in the area, my husband and I will see if the Hillcrest has any rooms open.

Located quite close to downtown Jim Thorpe, this bed and breakfast was extremely welcoming. Tom and Nancy were excellent hosts and gave several recommendations for food, events, and sites to see in the area.

The room we rented was a single room with a private bathroom, which we found to be comfortable and spacious. Every morning, Tom and Nancy would provide fresh fruit, breakfast of your choice, and great coffee, which was one of the highlights of our stay there.

We're looking forward to staying here in the future, as there are several, local hiking and biking trails, and many other things to do and see.

If you are looking for a great little bb this is the place. Very cozy house that felt very vintage. This place also had a great view as it sits at the top of a hill. Matt was awesome! Very helpful, friendly and would act very quickly if we needed everything. The coffee in the morning was delicious. Sadly due to covid there wasn't the usual breakfast but he did what he could. Overall the place was super clean and comfortable. The area was also very quiet and peaceful which is exactly what we were looking for. We will definitely be back.

I was deciding between this place and another place that had a more convenient location and a lower price but ultimately chose this one because of the great reviews. Many people mentioned the hosts being so welcoming and a great breakfast so I thought it would be worth spending more for a better experience. Well… When we arrived, the front door was open (not unlocked but actually open) and had a handwritten note on it to call a number to check in. Needless to say, that call was the only human interaction we had all weekend. The place is nice, clean, had a fridge and a microwave in the room but no shampoo, conditioner or a lotion. Just a bar of soap. I wasn’t happy about that as I don’t usually pack all of that for a weekend getaway and also because it’s been standard in all places I’ve stayed. And speaking of not being happy, the breakfast that people mentioned in other reviews, that did not happen. There were some bananas and apples, granola bars, cereal, instant oatmeal and some toast bread and bagels but no butter or cream cheese so unless you’re into eating plain bread you’re out of luck. There was a good selection of teas and coffee, milk and orange juice. The location overall is not bad, assigned parking was convenient.
So, to sum it all up, I would stay there again if I didn’t have other options but that is unlikely. I wish I had the same great experience other visitors had.

The only thing I can say is was clean. Certainly was not as advertised, I will not be staying there in the future. Everybody's lack of service is "blamed" on covid !
