Cusat's Cafe

Awesome breakfast! Very timely. Never let my coffee get cold. Food was very very good. Table of bff's next to me sharing mimosas. Another table of veterans enjoying each other's company. Can't wait to come back!!!

I had a wonderful lunch at Cusat's Cafe, a Hazleton, PA bar and restaurant. Cusat's has been in business since 1936! Without question, an impressive run. Cusat's is located in Hazleton's Alter Street Business District at 12th St. It features ample off-street parking and a covered outdoor deck for the warmer months.

For lunch, I went traditional Hazleton. I had a sausage and scamutz sandwich, fries with gravy and a Farmer's Iced Tea. The bread was a dream having been made by nearby Senape's Bakery. The roll is crispy on the outside, light and soft on the inside. Does not overpower the sandwich - perfect! The sausage was homemade. Again, the sausage was homemade! Perfectly seasoned and a little spicy it was perfectly balanced in flavor. For those not familiar, scamutz, derived from scamorza is a Hazleton-style mozzarella cheese. It is mild, creamy and melts perfectly. Friends, these folks are the real deal, food-wise!

Hazleton is a wonderland of multi-cultural food. Cusat's Cafe continues to take its well-deserved place in this community. I highly recommend a visit!

If you are looking for old skool, nostalgic atmosphere this is the place. I'm 53 and this place has been around FOREVER! Food is great and service is too. A definite WINNER in my book!

Food was delicious. I had a meatball and scamutz on a toasted roll and French fries. Prices reasonable. And our waitress was great. Definetly will go back. And would recommend it.

Food and service is always great. This visit was for a funeral luncheon. Service was perfect. Food was hot and delicious. Couldn't ask for a better place for this day.

Great Food! Reasonable prices and a good staff of workers always trying to make your visit memorable. Try a grilled steak and cheese sandwich with onions and peppers, best I’ve had in a long time!

Had my nephews graduation party there and what a fantastic job they job even thru the rain the party was great, food was awesome, services was impecable!

Great please highly suggested if you’re ever in the local area, please come and visit is amazing dinner/lunch café you’ll definitely get what you pay for times three if you come here. The staff is amazing and it is a by far Hazelton staple that has been here for generations you would love this place if you’d ever come here. Everything on the menu is delicious no matter what you choose

Always a great meal @ Cusats! Love their grilled cheesesteaks on italian with fried onions and long hots! Have to add their fries with gravy & cheese to that too! Their chicken pastine soup is the best in the area!

Delicious food and affordable prices

Sausage and scamutz...does it get better? Add onions and peppers and it really does. Been around forever and it shows every time you walk in. Staff is friendly, food is awesome.

Excellent spot for brunch on a Sunday. Get the Stromboli omelet.... and a bloody mary. It'll fix you up. Also, great grilled cheesesteak sandwiches.

Always friendly and wonderful service. Food here is usually very good and comes out pretty quickly. This place is a personal favorite place of mine for breakfast, which is the perfect time to order mimosas.

Favorite meatball sandwich and wings in the area. Highly recommend. Only thing I think can improve is that service can be VERY slow, so don't dine in if you are in a rush.
