Ingleby Lodge: Mountain Vacation Home Access to Pine, Elk and Penns Creek and Penn State Lodging

I have stayed at Ingleby previously and have always been very satisfied so decided to book a long weekend while several of us attended the Olympic trials at BJC for wrestling. Another great experience and simply wowed my guests who were there for the first time. Definitely one of a kind place and will continue to go back again and create more memories with friends and family!

My first time at the Ingleby lodge, spending 4 nights there in early May of 2024 for a fly fishing gettaway with my brother. It's a wonderful location, setting and lodge! Can't wait to go back again next year!

Unbelievable cabin, a real hidden gem that is convenient to any State College activities. We loved everything about this cabin and would recommend to anyone looking to stay in this area. Looking forward to coming back soon!

Great cabin nestled in the mountainside. Nice looking cabin inside and outside and very well kept. Not far from local attractions and parks. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area.

Ingleby lodge was an awesome place to stay, can’t say enough good things about it. The cabin was great you can tell how much work the owners put into it to keep it nice.

Fishing Penn’s creek was an amazing experience. And the cabin was such a great location to the fishing.

Our first stay at Ingleby Lodge certainly did not disappoint! The cabin is stunning, beautifully decorated and landscaped, secluded, and cozy. We enjoyed exploring the nearby small towns, wineries, and countryside. The owner, Lori, was very helpful and responsive which enhanced both planning the long weekend and our comfort during our stay. A black bear visited a couple nights which was a special surprise for us all! Fly fishing on the private waters provided memories and great fishing experiences. We look forward to returning sometime soon!

Ingleby Lodge is that one in a Million place that you have to stay at. It is a beautiful lodge, secluded amongst the trees and streams. The Lodge itself is a fantastic 3 levels, with a wrap around deck and plenty of space for friends and families to get together. The lodge has all the amenities you could want from fire pits/grill to all the modern convinces everyone loves. The lodge is very well maintained and very comfortable. Breweries, Wineries and other area goodies are located nearby and Hiking is right at the door step. Had a wonderful stay with great friends and hoping to visit again sooner than later. Thank you Lori, for having a wonderful Lodge and I definitely had a very memorable few days.

This was my 3rd time staying at this lodge. It's perfect for a getaway of any kind...which is why we keep coming back. Always incredibly clean with a fully equipped kitchen with all amenities, wi-fi, satellite TV and radio, largest television I have ever seen in the downstairs family room and much more. Beautiful secluded country location yet a short 20-23 minute drive to shopping, dining, breweries and wineries. However, I'm not sure you will want to leave the fantastic deck, porch area and fire rings. The icing on the cake are the lovely the owners. You will not be disappointed!

We planned our annual "mom getaway trip" this year to the Ingleby Lodge. This was by far the nicest, cleanest and beautiful cabin we have stayed at. Not only did the owners have the place ready for us with a fire, candles, wine, and music, but the place had everything we needed to relax for the weekend. They have the cabin decorated tastefully, the amenities make you feel at home, and the rooms/beds are great for accommodating groups of adults. We look forward to coming back to the lodge for future mom-vacations as well as bringing our families!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to return. The home is amazing, secluded and quiet.

The grounds are well kept, the outdoor grill space, wrap around porch and 2 fire pits make spending time outside perfect. Plenty of room for our 8 yr old to enjoy . The projector screen on the lower level was also a plus.
The host were responsive and very accommodating. Our daughter left a sentimental toy behind and the host was kind enough to immediately mail it back.

Only complaint was that our stay was too short!

An upscale cabin with a wrap-around deck, beautiful landscaping, and a nice quiet stream that gives a very relaxing environment.. The spacious layout is perfect for families or groups of all kinds.The cabin was extremely clean and had all amenities needed. There are wineries within 25 min away . We will definitely be back.

My husband nick and I as well as A small group stayed at the Inglby Lodge over Memorial Day weekend 2018. We absolutely loved every second of it. The house was located in a perfect spot for the guys to fly fish in nearby streams and also only about a 30 minute drive to State College.

Lori was incredibly wonderful and accommodating. The house itself was immaculate. It had all the amenities you could need and plenty of room for everyone. It was nestled in a nice patch of woods and we loved having a fire in the evenings. During the day it was serene and enjoyable to sit on the deck and relax. We can’t say enough about how much we loved our stay here and plan to visit again next year!

Lovely high end cabin in the woods, a warm and inviting backdrop, perfect for a family gathering. Cozy, comfortable and fully equipped. Has two bedrooms and extra twin beds on the landing. We spent a delightful weekend hiking, cooking and playing board games. Highly recommend.

A beautiful cabin in the woods. A great place to be with family or friends. Cabin is large with a full kitchen, fire pits and plenty of space to spread out on the wrap around deck. Located in a nice quiet town with trails to walk and wineries and breweries. Would definitely recommend and will be back to visit. The hosts were wonderful and very accommodating.

Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at Ingleby Lodge! We opted to disconnect from TV's, phones & computers, even though the lodge had all of these amenities. We enjoyed the great outdoors sitting around the fire pit, grilling steaks, eating outside & enjoying the views and peace & quiet. We drove down to Penns Creek & walked along the trails. We also stumbled upon Earlystown Diner and enjoyed two great breakfasts. If you get the opportunity to stay here.....DO IT! Looking forward to booking our next stay!

We stayed at the Ingleby Lodge this past weekend for a little family get together between 3 brothers and our kids. It is a really beautiful, secluded location nestled in the hills near some small farms, but off in the woods so that it feels really private. A small stream runs through the property, and there is a lawn, a timber-frame pavilion over the grill, roomy patio, porch, and deck with beautiful landscaping. The kitchen is nice and well-equipped. The floor plan is open, it's all wood/log finishes, comfortably furnished. We went to the lake at Bald Eagle State Park (45 min drive) and rented a ski boat for an afternoon. Grocery store about 20 min away. Lots of hiking around too. Kids loved it, we all loved it, and it was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway!

The Ingleby Lodge is the perfect place to get away for a quiet weekend or have family and friends gather at for a special occasion.

The cabin is gorgeous both inside and out and the views are breathtaking. During the fall and winter months, nothing beats watching the snow and leaves fall inside by the fireplace and during the summer and spring months you can listen to the sounds of nature while relaxing outside by the fire pit. The lodge is a perfect combination of cabin living with modern comforts.

The owners are accommodating and easy to work with. You won’t go wrong by choosing The Ingleby Lodge!

This is our favorite weekend family getaway. There is plenty of room and the lodge is well kept. The kitchen is stocked with all the essentials. The owners are very responsive, gracious, and kind. The movie room in the basement is amazing! It's a perfect place to escape and relax, hang out with the surround sound system, enjoy indoor and outdoor fires, and feel like you're in the middle of nowhere, while still being close to everything you need. Highly recommend.

We could not ask for a better place to stay- 1st class all the way! The private access to Pine Creek and Elk Creek provided unbelievable fly fishing! The lodge is stunning and a sportsman dream! We enjoyed a weekend with extended family here summer '18. This home exceeded our expectations in almost every way. Finish, cleanliness, amenities were perfect yet still homey! Kitchen and linens were adequate. Firewood was provided, in addition to gas grills and firepit. It is quite a remote location - that can be good or not. The host was very nice and communicated well. We looked at cheaper accommodations and are SO glad we chose Ingleby!
