They listed 417 White Street Weissport, PA as a single family. I signed a contract, and put $5,000 down, believing it was a SINGLE family home.
Which only required 3.5 percent down.
THEN SURPRISE!
The appraiser stated it was a MULTI-FAMILY.
Than the bank needed me to come up with 5 percent. The deal fell through. They kept my $5,000.
I was a stupid idiot. I won't be using a realtor anymore. An attorney to review all paperwork. And let the seller set it up.
