A NEW GOODWILL! The old Goodwill store down Atherton closed and moved to this new location recently. It's in the same shopping center as Sam's Club. And this new store is amazing!! It's absolutely massive and much nicer than any other Goodwill I've been to. The selection is terrific and the staff are really nice! There are tons of aisles of make clothing, females clothing and other items. It's really quite large and well organized. And they have tap to pay! I'm impressed with the quality of this Goodwill.

Where else can you buy a brand new Nike Pro T-shirt for $2.50. This would have cost me 60 at any major store. Shop Smart.

Love coming here. Most of the time it’s highly organized. The pricing is mostly fair. Employees aren’t disrespectful. Overall can’t really ask for more with how all thrifts are in 2023

The new store, opened in 2020 is sadly a downgrade in shopping experience for the customer. Someone from management needs to take a cart, walk around, and shop the store to get how the customers see the store and products. The issue is lighting. I'm sure the store had LED lights installed when they renovated from the old Office Depot. The issue is these lights are too high in the ceiling and there is not enough of them. It does not seem dark in the store but anytime you go to look at something it is hard to see and read. You get shadows in every direction. The floor not being finished does not help either, instead of being shiny, polished brightly colored floor, it is flat, dull, and gray. The prices have gone up as well. When the store fills up with product and nobody is buying the same stuff they might get the idea. Oh and the checkout issues, I get there and there is a line a dozen customers long. They slowly work thru the line and it dissappears. Then sometime later, I go to checkout and no cashiers are working the stands, I wait a few minutes and finally I get checked out. The employees at the old store were friendly and did a good job. At the new store the employees look so unhappy.

There new location is wonderful! The store is much bigger, nicely kept and has so much variety. I must also say the employees do an amazing job keeping the store clean and organized. It’s very impressive. The staff is also very friendly.

The State College Goodwill location is one of the biggest and best Goodwill stores I have ever been in. I found it extremely well organized and everything was easy to find. The staff were all super nice and I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

A great place to donate things. Also great for budget shoppers! They have a nice selection at fair prices. People complain about their prices being higher than they were in the past, but they are still really inexpensive! Where can you get jeans for $5? Nice quality jackets for under $20? Their prices are very reasonable.

It’s a huge store and well organized. You can get so many gems! They have tag day when you can buy things only for 38 cents or a dollar! It would be great if they can keep furnitures too.

Great store with some really cool clothes and it's organized and sorted so you can simply go to your size and see what they have. Many of the other stores just ram all of the black shirts together. You've got to look at 20 before you even find one your size. This store, however, has all of the shirts, pants, jackets, etc. sorted. They do lack in men's shoes but they've got you covered in all other areas.

I'm giving 5 stairs because they deserve it and I seen one woman said there was no Social distancing id like to know we're shes from there is in nowat they don't have Social Distancing the store is very big and I am in there quite a bit and I have never seen people crowded together and as far as the line goes it does spand across the store qere would you like it to be and they are 6 feet apart . Sorrry for ragging on this woman but you mush have had a bug up your behind the day you were there good luck with your shopping and hope you read this so enuff with her . Back to what matters the people I see working there is working hard and deserve the Credit that is due so thank you to all keep up the great jobs you all do everyday. This store is spacious. Lots of name brands and high quality goods. Their book section is awesome!

WHOA. This one is comparable, but I don't think beats the goodwill supercenter in Johnstown, PA (Eisenhower Blvd). Nevertheless, I enjoyed every minute. HOWEVER, the racks are almost unshoppable because they're so crammed full. How bout a throwback sale like bag day so you can allow these stores to get on top of their inventory, and flush out stale stock. I know for a fact every store within 100 mile radius of me would benefit, not to mention the employee's gratitude to reach the seemingly unattainable status of "caught up". Everyone knows goodwill can afford it, these stores have revenue larger than many grocery chains.

I always find something I just have to have when I shop here. You can't beat the prices, and there are amazing finds tucked away waiting to be discovered! Sundays are their best sale day.

Goodwill offers a large selection of second hand goods. From Casio keyboards to American Eagle jeans, you never know what you will find until you go on in.

As a 1st time visitor, I had no idea as to how to make a contribution.
The staff took the time and patience to give me guidance and were most helpful, even though they were very busy with many folks browsing in the sales area.

Loves this store! So organized and so much to choose from. Was in the store for a good hour or so. Much better than any others I have been to.

Got a whole trash bag of clothes today for under $20! Sunday and Mondays are the best day to go bc they have certain color tagged items for only 79 cents!

This is kind of store that you should keep going every week. You might not find a good deal if you go there once.
We bought lots of good books here for 90 cents!!!
