My daughter and I spent 3 lovely days with Carole at Grassy Hill. She's one of the sweetest most accommodating people I've ever met. She went out of her way to make our stay welcoming. Our room and beds were clean, spacious, well decorated, and comfortable. Carole's home made breakfasts were amazing and delicious. We had campfires to sit around during the evening. My daughter and I enjoyed hot tea and homemade cookies around the fire each night :) It was an overall marvelous experience - our first time ever to stay in a bed and breakfast. I'm not sure if all are this wonderful, but if we vacation in the same spot again, we will definitely go back to Grassy Hill.

My fiance and I were participating in the Palmerton Spartan Race and needed a place to stay for a few nights since we were traveling from out of town. When I searched for "Places to stay near Palmerton", this cute Bed and Breakfast popped up. Neither of us have ever stayed in a B&B before, so we didn't really know what to expect.
Ralph and Carole are the absolute sweetest people ever. When we first walked through the door, Ralph showed us to our room(which was perfect and extremely comfortable). We then unpacked, changed, and went downstairs where we were offered Ralph's DELICIOUS "homemade" cookies ;) Carole asked us what we would like for breakfast the following morning, and since we didn't want to eat anything too heavy with the race being the following morning, we stuck with an apple and a banana and some hard boiled eggs.
When we woke up that next morning, we ate our breakfast on the most gorgeous patio with a breathtaking view. We went off to the race and came back to clean up, went to dinner at a place suggested from Ralph and Carole, then came back to hear all about their adventures and stories. It was literally perfect.
The next morning, we had an incredible breakfast. If you stay here, definitely ask for the Grand Marnier French Toast made by Carole! My mouth is still watering thinking about that stuff. It was the best breakfast I have had in a very long time.
They made our first B&B stay one we will never ever forget. I hope to make it back there one day. You will not regret it if you stay. There is so much to do around there too!

Grassy Hill B&B was very relaxing, comfortable, and homey feeling. It wasn't in the middle of a town; it was set back into the woods with a breathtaking view of the valley below and mountains. The location was perfect, not too close to the city and not too far away. You couldn't hear cars and you could see the stars. At night you could hear the tree frogs and then in the mornings, you would hear the birds.
Carol was a wonderful hostess and always encouraged us to make ourselves at home. She provided us with a very neat and clean place to stay. Cookies, hot tea and coffee, internet access, TV, wonderful breakfasts, and conversation were all provided and went above and beyond our expectations.
I will stay here again and I recommend it to anyone looking to relax.
