Peaceful atmosphere, enjoyable background music. Veal dishes were tender and delicious. Service was friendly and professional. Will certainly return soon

This was my first time- found the restaurant online and checked with TCNJ grads who ‘approved’ the choice. So I took my son & 3 of his friends for his 21st birthday. We were VERY pleased - the service was friendly and timely, despite the restaurant being busy. Chicken saltimbocca, chicken parm, lasagna and appies (stuffed mushrooms and cheese bread) were abundant and delicious. The penne vodka sauce was passable but would not order it again here. Overall, great find and I’d definitely return.

Love that it is in West Trenton. Classic Italian..had veal parm was excellent. Capellini con pesce was.my wife's dish. Various apps ordered as we were 8 people. Always spot on...highly recommend going there. BYOB

Just amazing Italian food. Had the Tortellini Carbonara and it was delicious. Service was excellent. A little loud in the restaurant made conversation a little hard. The food though, judy YUM.

I rarely give all 5 stars but this place has it all from the food, staff and speedy service for a restaurant. If you're to take another on a date or special occasion this is the kind of place to go to. In these times post covid with inflation prices are extremely reasonable. I'm not a fan of appetizers but will try next time. I'm not a huge bread fan but theirs was out of this world. I really don't know how I can find anything negative about my visit. Highly recommend and will be go back.

Everything was fantastic. I had a shrimp cocktail and a reach of land done to perfection. I'm never disappointed. Russ and his wife are great. And our little waitress Taylor what a doll baby so bubbly and sweet. Loved her.

I want to pick up this restaurant and move it into my city. The menu choices were outstanding. I had the crab crusted tilapia with vegetables. The atmosphere and decor was outstanding. It feels like fine dining at an affordable price point. That is my opinion based on the fact that I travel all over the country. I have seen places with similar decor and menu options with a much higher price point. The wait staff was knowledgeable and patient. For some reason I was bumbling and mumbling about what I wanted, but the staff member didn't leave until they were certain they had it right. Diamond in the rough for sure.

Had dinner here on 1/18. The place had a nice atmosphere, great service, and excellent food. I had the pork tenderloin and it was REALLY good. Honestly, I wanted to lick my plate but unfortunately that wouldn’t be proper. My coworker really enjoyed his meal as well.

Purchased take-out for the first time in a long time and the food was very good. When placing the order, the staff was attentive, professional and appreciative. Food was ready when promised and hot. Side salads and bread are included with the meals and the chicken parm was enough to feed two. Eggplant parm was also excellent so I'm happy to say I'll be back, hopefully to dine in this time.

Basically, my wife and I, whenever we can find a chance to go out to dinner, only want to go to Sal De Forte's. It's hard to find a place run by such nice people, offering such good food, at such a reasonable price. We've been going for many years, and will continue to do so.

I have never ever once gotten a bad meal here! All the food is so fresh and perfectly prepared and reasonably priced. Today I ordered stuffed chicken breast, broccoli, and mashed sweet potatoes everything was delicious! Fresh! I ordered it to go because I was doing a house clean out. And they even remembered to put butter with my bread! That's how amazing, they get the orders right as well. Not only is the food out of this world but their service is always impeccable .I can't say enough about Sal's for dinner and/or lunch. Their sauce is so good it's not filled with oregano or thick. And everything is fresh! Even fresh vegetables! Love love love!

Once again Sal De Forte's DID NOT disappoint we were a party of five for dinner, about 25.00 dollars a person on average for absolutely delicious food and great atmosphere. Can not beat it.. Been here in the past and will back in the future for sure. The staff is very accommodating, the waitress very professional. We Felt like family dinning here.

Excellent food……..from the grilled octopus and also the longhots appetizers, to chopped antipasta, and my main entree Veal Chop then ended with Key Lime pie everything was scrumptious!!! Chef Jose is very talented. Wonderful atmosphere and attentive staff. Top notch restaurant all around!
