Mamma Flora's Trattoria

Found this place while at an event at Riders University. We were looking for a good pizza place with indoor seating. Mama Flora is located in a corner of the Plaza and cannot be easily seen from the road - so unless you know about it, you might miss it.
We ordered fried calamari and a full pepperoni pie. Food came fast and was tasty. 3 of us finished the pie. Pizza was thin crust and a bit spicy- different from the usual which we loved. They serve Pepsi fountain products but have a fridge with some cross-brand selections.
Service was prompt and attentive. They serve a “wedge” bread, included with the order, that was amazing. We also had a dried calamari app that was very good.

We had a great family get together with my daughter and her fiance who now live in California. The food and the room was perfect. All of the staff were courteous and helpful.

Tried the Caprese salad with chicken and was pleasantly surprised by the portion, and the ingredients were very fresh! Been looking for a good Italian spot with fresh ingredients! Finally!

I have ordered from Mama Flora's several times over the past several years, and the food is consistently very good. But, for me, it isn't just the food is good, it is the customer service as well. You can tell they really appreciate their customer's and their customer's business. The owner, is usually always there and remembers you as soon as he sees you, and thanks you for your business. Check the place out, you wont be disappointed.

Wear stretch pants! The joint's not big on ambience but it has good service, great food and reasonable prices.

This place is a hidden gem located in the shoprite plaza of Ewing NJ. It seems most of the time reviews are left to bring attention to something that was wrong or not enjoyable by the person dining, and not enough for when things go right. I’ve been visiting this pizzeria quite often on my lunch breaks over the last 4 months or so, and a couple things stand out to me after thinking about it this afternoon, is that not only does this place make terrific pizza, you could drag your finger with your eyes closed all across the menu and wherever it stops, whatever it is would be delicious. And second, the hospitality and genuine kindness that the managers and employees have is second to none compared to just about anywhere you go these days, everybody that walks through Mama Floras gets treated like a king or a queen and to top it off your getting great food that you can tell was made with love and care. GREAT food! We are so happy we found our Italian place - if you want a game changer order a chicken parm with vodka sauce & gnocchi. Seriously the best I’ve ever had. I’ve even got my friends ordering this without me! LOL. Everytime we call and pick up they are the nicest and most kind people working there. Def give it a shot - you won’t be disappointed! - oh! Also, they give you enough to feed a small family of 4 😂

Best pizza and cheesteaks in the area. They're ALWAYS BUSY ON THE WEEKENDS so plan on it. I'm about 10 minutes away from them and it's always an hour wait for delivery but it's WORTH IT! The food is great and the portions are good.
Call in your order bc sometimes the prices are off. And the site charges more for delivery.

Always fresh and delicious. The vegetable lasagna is amazing! Vodka sauce is the best I've ever had. It's my go to meal. Worth the price because of the portion. Plus you get a salad and bread.

Excellent food. Really great service. This was actually our second time here. This time we went with friends. They were very pleased with their meals too. We both agreed to frequent this place more often. If you're looking for a great place to eat, I would highly recommend this place. You can't go wrong here.

Two decades of nothing but the best! I tried a special dish nearly 20 years ago and Gary still makes it for me any time I ask. The food and service are nothing short of fantastic. This is the best hidden gem in town!

Great find for lunch when you are not from the area. Service was great. Staff friendly. And food was amazing. Calamari was tender and crunchy, veal was tasty. Will be back when in the area.

I've been eating at Mama Flora's for years. I actually had their takeout for dinner tonight and all was so good; the portion, taste and price!

My husband eats lunch here often, but today was my first time. I ordered a personal white pizza with spinach and light mozzarella, no ricotta, and it was amazing! The staff are incredibly friendly, and they had no problem with changing my order and accommodating a special request. I can not recommend Mamma Flora's highly enough!

Very nice Italian place for dinner. Excellent pizza, but the focus is the appetizers and meals. Great salads. Frequently has live music at night.

I heard about this many many times, but never went. Craving Italian, I decided to try. Located in Olden Ave shopping center, Shoprite & other establishments, parking was tough.
Greeted with a smile & seated in nice area. Wait staff good as they came back to check throughout meal.
YALL KNOW I LIKE TO EAT 😋 & baby Mamma didn't disappoint! The Blackened Salmon, EXCELLENT! Moist & seasoned to perfection. Portions were filling. I was not disappointed. So if you're craving Italian, skip the Garden & stop in at Mamma Flora's.

It’s been almost 17 hours and I am still thinking about how amazing my veggie lasagna with pink sauce was for dinner last night. I was absolutely blown away by the taste and quality. I’ve just found one of my new favorite comfort foods. Thank you!
