Love stopping at this place for sandwiches (turkey blt & cuban) along with chicken tenders and french fries before our family picnic at Washingtons Crossing. Have your sandwiches made on ciabatta bread... you won't be disappointed!

This place is nothing short of awesome. A perfect spot for a construction guy like me looking for a bite to eat. Everything is made fresh and the food here is outstanding. The service is great too as Cathy and Peter really know how to interact with customers. The cookies and brownies are homemade and amazing as well. I would 100% recommend getting a fresh roast turkey sandwich. The brie and dijon just destroy your mouth with flavor and it’s so good. This should be 6 stars.

I love the turkey and brie sandwich. They truly make amazing sandwiches at very affordable prices. The upscale menu is quite a surprise for a country store. Onion rings are homemade!! Wonderful staff...great service. I would give 6 stars if that was an option!

Village Market is an awesome little neighborhood store that has a small deli, a grill in the back to prepare hot foods, a full wall of refrigerator cases full of ice cold drinks, a huge variety of snacks, serves hot coffee and breakfast as well as hot and cold lunches. I believe that the sign on the door says they close at 6 but I've gone there and found locked doors as early as 4:30 so picking up a quick bite for dinner would be iffy. My absolute favorite thing that I buy there is homemade marble pound cake in individual slices which aren't exactly cheap. At $4 a slice a couple of pieces of cake can add up quickly but we shop in stores like this for convenience, not for bargains. For a neighborhood deli they do an excellent job! The food is always delicious and fresh and prepared carefully. I buy a chef salad and 2 pieces of marble pound cake on my day off and I'm set for the day and I didn't have to do a thing! Perfection! As much as I love this place I have to say honestly that they make the worst coffee I've ever tasted. I threw it in the garage after just a few sips because it was so bad. Anything else you need will be excellent quality but skip the coffee here.

This deli is amazing. All the food is delicious and made with love and affection. Having the four boys that work in the deli may seem ominous at first but their dedication and work ethic lead them to creating some of the greatest sandwiches I’ve ever had. And their friendless and ability to cooperate makes their characters even better. The boys along with the other great staff that work and their amazing manager create a amazing business. Overall I wish I could rate this 6 stars.

Bowled over by a magnetic red-headed Siren (Miss Breeze over the Water), I bought the fried cod sandwich. The deli guy served it with a lime, and now I cannot decide whether I am more smitten by the Siren or the sandwich!

I came in the last two days in a row and i gotta say this is the best deli around. The food is amazing, the prices are cheap, and the staff is kind, hardworking, and fast. When i called i had Kathy (or Cathy I’m sorry) answer and she was extremely pleasant, unlike generally most delis where you can tell the staff is overworked and stressed. I hope everyone here keeps up the amazing work. I’ll definitely be coming back

Nice well-run deli with delicious sandwiches.
My only suggestion would be to clean up (steam clean) the front entrance sidewalk and move the trash / cigarette container elsewhere. Not pleasant to look at while eating at that table.

This place is the BEST! I try and come atleast twice a week for the blue cheese roast beef sandwich! The prices are low and the quality Is high! Huge sandwich for cheap. The people are always nice and they have tons of other great food as well! 10/10 will continue coming back!

Definitely a surprise to see this in the country side out here in Pennsylvania. They came in clutch when I hadn't eaten and I was expecting them to just have microwavable food but what I got was so much more! I ordered a veggie omelette and it was amazing! Probably one of the best I've ever had, everything they used in it tasted fresh. Will definitely be recommending to others and will be back again.

Stopped in to get lunch and go to the bathroom. I'm not from around the area and didn't realize they were closing soon. Alexandra, the cashier was so kind and felt like she made me wait, but I didn't feel like that at all! She was so kind and helpful and personable. We joked about it while my friend and I waited for like the best cheesesteaks ever! The rolls were fresh, the sandwich was well prepared and I hope I can come back here again soon! Great service, great food!

Eat here, get gas! Not from their food...you can fill your car tank and your tank at the same time. Tried the Italian hoagie, the bread always is the major part of a good sandwich. They use rolls from Liscio's and Deitz & Watson meats and cheese. One of the better Italian hoagies in the area at a great price. Quite a menu...from breakfast sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, hoagies, beef and chicken cheese steaks and all the sides. Will try that Buffalo
chicken steak with cooper sharp, hot sauce and bleu cheese next...will let you know...

Looks can be deceiving. It may just look like an ordinary gas station but the food and staff here are phenomenal. My favorite is the Cuban sandwich .

Village market catered a brunch last weekend for ~35 friends of ours. They provided delicious food, helpful and considerate service, and even display baskets for a nice presentation. They were very flexible and easy to work with.

Great local deli and catering. Much better than you would expect. Don't let the exterior fool you they have been here since 1948. I remember biking here as a kid. Glad there are few mom and pop places left in Newtown.

The food here is always consistently top-notch and it is our favorite in terms of deli food in the area. I highly recommend the quesadillas or the pulled pork sandwich.

Looks like the place you go to when you're out of gas and don't know when the next one will be, so you go in to pay and maybe some coffee and you see the deli and You're like why not so you head over and the menu looks a little bland then you take that first bite. And goddamn you weren't expecting such good food
