Mad Hatter Cafe and Tea Garden

Warm and friendly atmosphere and the fresh ingredients are amazing. Extra points for the chef in the Dr Who hat! Highly recommend stopping in and trying the Thanksgiving Ramen especially.

I recently moved to the area, so I still recall driving through late that first night to check out the neighborhood. Seeing the darling Mad Hatter storefront, its glorious antique building rising up above, and the eclectic tea garden attached, I knew at once that this was a town I could see myself living in. It exudes love, charm and caring. But I still hadn't been inside. Well, this book can be judged by its cover: warmth, light, music, camaraderie, art, safe space and good cheer. The owners and their grown children run the place, each member of the family leaving an individual mark. One son prepares a creative pan-Asian inspired menu, while the proprietress sees to it that hot drinks are served to satisfaction in a tidy but relaxed atmosphere. This place and its host family are appreciated by every local I meet. Seems they are a revered local institution. I can see why.

This was my first time going here and the whole experience was amazing. I walked in and was greeted by a nice lady. Who walked me through the ordering process and took the time to explain what every ingredient is and how it affects the dishes flavor. Highly recommend!

Amazing ramen, adorable atmosphere 10/10 go to this place

The owner is very kind and sweet, you can tell she enjoys being there and talking to people. Very nice atmosphere, clean and well decorated/lighted. The food was excellent especially for the price. If your on the fence, hop over and check it out.

what can I say. love this place. Bought a Pot pie for family dinner. It was GREAT.

Got a coffee and a muffin same day. The muffin was great too...highly recommended.

An absolute gem. Best breakfast sandwiches in the valley. Love the baked goods as well. I'm slowly getting into the gluten free thing and she's got some options that taste pretty darn good. Owner is such a lovely woman. All around A++ experience.

Terry is a very fantastic kind person and the food is phenomenal. The Mad Hatter is a sorely needed relief from the monotony of corporate food joints and dingy mom-and-pop restaurants. Only complaint is that there are a LOT of mirrors in the bathroom which made me personally uncomfortable.

Excellent Food with outstanding service, every time I dine her I am amazed by how she does all of this work day in and day out. Highly recommend this for anyone looking to relax with a morning coffee

First time here, met the owner, she was very nice, lots of Gluten free baked goods all homemade plus coffee tea and sandwiches.

Best grilled cheese ever! Love the look of the store. Will be back.

Found this place looking for a healthy lunch alternative. It's a very cozy Cafe and everyone was very nice. Service was fast. Good place to take a breather in the middle of the day

Terry & her staff have done a great job with the new location...the renovations turned out great...it is bright and cheery, friendly and relaxing. The food is fresh and delicious...I especially love their soups and salads! They also have a new gift line, Natural Life that is a perfect fit for them and super cute!

The food was to die for, the atmosphere was captivating, and the owner was absolutely amazing.
I grew up in the area and was visiting and when I saw this place on Google I knew I had to try it, and I have no regrets. I eat almost vegan, and I was amazed at how many options this place has. I wish this place was here when I was still living in town because I would definitely stop by as often as possible.
Highly recommend this place and I definitely plan on stopping by every time i come to visit!

Mad Hatter is by far the best in the area, food is incredible I have not had a single item I did not like. The coffee is spot on and I am picky about my coffee. The owner is most accommodating and a pleasure to be around she looks out for all her customers and has done an amazing job keeping up with the current pandemic standards. Bravo keep up the amazing work!!!

The daily menu reflects Terry's care for the health and well being of her customers. Her food is not about easy, fast, processed or the lowest cost ingredients. Her menu is about variety, taste and health and what is good for your body and how you will feel after you have eaten. Come here for some love you so deserve or need. See you there soon!
