I traveled from NJ to purchase a used guitar listed on the website. The guitar's condition was accurately and honestly described in the listing and it plays like a dream. The shop has a really great selection of new and used gear. The owner, Rob, was very helpful and friendly. It was super nice chatting with him. I will definitely be making the trek back and hopefully sending some friends his way.

Found them by accident. Best find ever. Ordered guitar from them, they inspected it, made it ready and packed it well. This is a go to shop with great people. Highly recommended.

As someone who has bought, sold and traded guitars for decades, I was surprised when I first entered the store. I never saw so many cool guitars and custom shop Fenders under one roof before! There were guitars you'll never see in the 'big box stores.' I bought a road worn Stratocaster and a Danelectro Baby Sitar. Really nice guys working there. The owner has been in business for 35 years and I can easily see why. It's now a regular stop for me. / (2nd review)... I just bought a Fender player Stratocaster and Rob offered to set it up before I took it home. He set up the bridge, adjusted the neck, filed the fret ends, oiled the fingerboard, and installed the different tuners that I wanted all in about a half an hour or so while greeting students and their parents. This is the kind of old school customer service that's entirely lacking in the other chain stores. I'm thoroughly impressed and won over.

Great place for anyone loving “played” music. A guitar temple, but also a mine of knowledge and experience on how to play and rock your sound. My kids take instruments lessons with Tim there. I definitely recommend him as a music teacher but most importantly as a mentor for our kids.

D Town Guitars is a great place! I recently ordered and bought a new Martin GPC11E here and it arrived in store a day later after the order. That is beyond great service! In addition, Rob even gave me 15% off market price for my new guitar. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and let you test out guitars with no rush.

For repairs, prices are good. I have an old Gibson Kalamazoo from my grandpa that was repaired here and they did a superb job. The bridge and body were dented from abuse and Rob's crew fixed things up immensely.

Rob owns the best guitar shop in the Philadelphia area. I have been doing business with Rob when he owned the shop in Lansdale, PA. He has the best guitar and Amp selection around. If he doesn't have it in the shop he can get it for you, new or vintage.
