Super cool shop. The malt balls are one of a kind. They have everything! All varieties of any kind of candy you're craving and a great little museum in the back. The ladies in the front were very attentive and helpful. They also worked great together helping each other to get us squared away.

Delicious chocolate!! I love their chocolate covered pretzels and chocolate covered potato chips. Very helpful and friendly staff. Very clean store. There is an awesome little museum attached to the store and an old time ice cream shop. Well worth the visit.

I remember the first time I had the Gardners Peanut Butter Meltaway 45 years ago. My neighbor gave me one. I was about 10 years old. It was amazing. If you get the chance to stop into the store, it is a beautiful place.

Hershey's ice cream with gluten-free options galore!! Deliciously creamy and packed with flavor. Generous scoop sizes. We will be returning and often. 🙏👌

What a fun place!! Great old time atmosphere for shopping and enjoying ice cream. Little museum is small but wonderful.

Hersheys Ice Cream is the bomb!
Decided to get 2 scoops so I could get 2 flavors! Each scoop was like 2! I had a ginormous bowl of ice cream in front of me....I had to eat it!!!!
Honey roasted peanut butter ice cream with a creamy honey roasted peanut butter twist and yummy chocolate flakes.
Rich dark chocolate ice cream paired with a hazelnut fudge and crunchy chocolate cookies. Now this was some serious chocolate ~that's what I'm talking bout!

The staff was great with the girls and they even got to enjoy ice cream at the ice cream parlor! It is definitely a place to check out if you are in the area as who doesn't love candy and ice cream!!

This is Gardner's Candies,
Tyrone, PA 16686. This is the chocolate Factory building up on the hill on Adams Ave. Many local residents work as chocolateers and make your candies. This company is owned by Saris Candies.

They have everything. Including ice cream in the back. Shakes are only one size, huge. Like 5 scoops. Sugar coma coming on. Great flavors, terrific chocolate and candies. Well worth the diversion.

This location is nostalgic to me. I used to live up the street from here for 10 years of my life. I love the old timey feel to it. The candy and chocolate are just incredible here. Everything is fresh and worth the price. I love the peanut butter meltaways of course. And their chocolate caramels are so good. The employees at this store are always so friendly and helpful. They are clean and very efficient. I always stop here when I am in town now that I have moved away.

I am so happy my friend brought me to this candy store. I found out that the sister company was Sarris Candies. The smell of chocolate when we entered made my mouth water. I love history and the candy exhibit in the back. It was like a mini museum. I bought a bunch of gifts that came already wrapped for Christmas too.

In a nestled little town called Tyrone, there is this gourmet chocolate shop I noticed on my way to Altoona. So I stopped and I'm glad I did. Their chocolate is the best I've had, including import chocolate. Very smooth and not granular tasting. Ive tried most of their chocolate and was never disappointed. I now make it a stop when I'm in the area and stock up, and so should you. You won't regret it

Both the candy store and ice cream shop are top notch! A neat walk through local history and great selections of sweets.

Beautiful old fashioned candy store... antique candy making equipment.... Delicious ...chocolates ...candy... old-fashioned ice cream store in back too...with yummy Hershey's ice cream hand dipped...Such a beautiful store...Great date place!!!!! People who work there are exceptionally kind, helpful, and friendly! It's like stepping back in time and the candy is worth the trip...So delicious!!!!!

Best candy shop in the USA! Everything is delicious and it feels like stepping back in time to what a classic American candy store would be. Thank you for continuing the tradition and keeping a quality product alive.

Deliciousness with great service and a neat little shop.

Friendly staff. Wide selection of sweets and nuts. Free gift wrapping. Lots of packaged candies and old-time penny candies and novelties in addition to the Gardner's traditional merchandise. There's even fudge now. Have a rewards program to earn money off future purchases. Were busy at time I was shopping and I was waited on quickly and efficiently. I totally recommend giving this place your business because they will not disappoint. 5 stars!

The best chocolate in the world, a delightful penny candy counter, and an ice cream bar make Gardners one of my favorite places to visit. It's a little pricey but absolutely worth every penny. Also appreciated the employees washing their hands after ringing up a customer.
