A clean, organized and inviting branch. It has a nice kids section, a Starbucks coffee area, and many items in addition to books. Service is always pleasant and parking is abundant

We had a great time and can't wait to go back next week! It is absolutely delightful, and my child loves being able to read everything! Thanks for providing this! They are also doing a reading program to award our children for reading, which is really awesome, and anyone can join for free and read books for free at the store! It's brilliant really and great for our children!

Found everything I was looking for. Do wish they had more checkouts open only one was open. At least 15 in line waiting to get checked out, but person was very pleasant and went quick.

I always love going to Barnes & Noble. I always walk out with new books and series to read! My favorite place to go!

Barnes & Noble was fun but don't go to Starbucks and ask for a piece of cheesecake. The girl will complain about putting her gloves "bad attitude"

My daughter and I stopped in during an outing day in Altoona. It was my first time in here. It is a very nice store with a massive variety of authors and books. My daughter was looking for something specific and I ended up picking out several books for myself as well. They have very cushy, comfortable chairs to sit in and a Starbucks as well. Very nice. The girl at check-out was most awesome as well. Thank you for a good experience!

i’ve been coming here for years, but completely forgot to ever give them a nice review. i always like the atmosphere of the store but mainly wanted to mention that the staff (i usually interact with closing crew) are SUPER nice, helpful, and down to earth. i always feel comfortable asking questions and checking out. also who ever does the closing announcements is pretty funny. very cool people.

We love our stops here in Altoona. B&N as a whole is an amazing bookstore.

This is the best B&N in Pa, and we couldn't ask for a better visit. One other store tops this one slightly in Virginia but not by much.

Staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, and go above and beyond to help find things or find them online for you.

Everything was stocked with books, magazines, toys etc. No problem finding the books we wanted.
The clearance books had a very nice variety.

Kids selection was very nice and we found several books we have not seen before.
The store is spotless and the bathroom was clean.

Starbucks coffee was not as good as other times, but that's not B&N fault.

Lastly checking out we did not have to wait long and they talked about the B&N card which I have had before but do not right now. She was not pushy about it.

Stopped in for workbooks for my Grandson. Was pleasantly surprised that they were not as expensive as I was told. Purchased a writing, language arts, and math workbook along with a book of complete curriculum for 5th grade and spent less than 50$. I attached the curriculum book only because if you home school, this is a complete year and is priced lower than if you bought online.

My son LOVED it here. He was able to look at every book in the store, and there was even a play table with blocks and trains at which he played with another little boy. He was able to find a book of his favorite movie (BFG) and the manga series he's been wanting to read. Next time he wants to stay the whole day and get some Starbucks 😂 My how fast they grow up!

I love Barnes & Nobles! I wasn't able to return books with a receipt since it's been 9 months (hence why I was trying to return them.) I did finally give the cafe a shot. The upside-down pineapple 🍍 cheesecake was amazing! It's from the cheesecake factory.

My daughter found the book she looked for. Barnes & Noble is a really nice store.

I love coming here, even if I don't buy anything. The smell of books and atmosphere is honestly enough sometimes. But whenever we do go specifically for a book, we either find it quickly, or the employees are rather helpful and order it if they don't have it in the store.

I absolutely love this place. I will be going in a few days and can't wait to see what amazing books I know I will find. They are super friendly and great selection.

Can't beat the smell of a book store. They don't always have what I need, but are happy to ship it to me. It's nice to still be able to visit a book store in person.

Was able to find some books on depression/anxiety and those books have helped tremendously since I bought them

The experience at this location is always pleasant. The employees are very polite and helpful when you need them. Also, it's nice to have a place to sit enjoy a coffee and a book or log into your laptop and get a little work done. It can get busy in the cafe at times, but I have never had to wait in line very long. Overall I do recommend it.

Always love visiting this place! Clean, organized, and always find something to keep reading. There's something for everyone there.
