This shop is a true treasure. This a dedicated fly fishing and fly tying shop, without any snobbery. The people are very helpful and can explain the different fly patterns and materials. Most fly fishermen know thr right size and color can make all the difference. What a wonderful experience.

i have no local flyshops near me in harrisburg pa other than lancaster and carlise and wanted to order some hackle online. i found holsingers through youtube and seen they have an online website. i ordered late at night and by next morning early my order was shipped and arrived fast. product was just as pictured and in great condition. will definitely order from them again and will definitely visit their shop this comming year!

Very welcoming and a great place to look around and explore. My father went on a guided trip with the owner's son and had an amazing time! The owners were welcoming and super willing to answer any questions we had as well as chat while we were in.

I have recently spent 2 days with holsinger guide service, and all I can say is: what a very knowledgeable guy on all types of fly fishing, very well organized system he runs. He tweeked my euro nymphing in a matter of 15 mins and the it was game on. We visited 3 different streams and he put me on the fish every time. 98 trout in 2 days , brooks, brown, and rainbows, even some natives. I am so happy with those 2 days I already booked 2 more days in November, you can't go wrong with picking them for all your fly fishing and tying needs. Thank you again Shawn and Ron Holsinger
