D & J Sandwich Shop

I've gotten food here for my family and I about 3 times so far and they make some solid food. The cheesesteaks have been great and the Sicilian pizza is some of the best I've ever had… 1 pizza feeds my family of 5! We easily feed our family for $40.00 or less. Not too many places like that anymore.

Only con I see is there cold subs don't pack too much meat but they do taste good. Not that it lacks in quality but I'd rather give a small business my money instead of Subway.

They also have great chicken tenders for the kids that don't have any funny textures.

Love the food here! Everything is great! It's made so quickly. We always usually eat in and sit in a both and watch the tv they have on. It's very small limited seats but it seems like when we're there it's a lot of take out. We just choose to be in the environment for a change of scenery and people watch. I also love the little pepperoni roll up bites they have pre-made above the slices of pizza great little appetizer!

Ordered cheesesteak and fries - such an amazing meal. Fries were perfectly done with perfect salt. Cheesesteak was amazing, great flavor, hot. Service was good too. Excellent price also. Thanks!

Sandwiches were great. My Mom came from Delaware, and she ate her ham on roll. Very happy

Quaint place with friendly staff. The sandwiches were yummy and the service was efficient. Parking is not the most plentiful but it honestly isn't the establishment's fault due to location.

So, my favorite menu item is the tuna salad 🥗 along with fries. However, their other items are highly recommended too. I usually ask for my fries to be fried a bit longer; I like them really crispy. And, they always accommodate. Their onion rings, dang, are huge hit, and very tasty. Okay, on to their hot sandwiches, omg cheesesteaks gotta have them. Tasty, meat, saucy. Toasted or not either way they will not disappoint you. Cali burger, pizza, eggplant parm, you name it, it all taste amazing. Couple that with the friendly service. THIS is a true hometown restaurant.

The pizza is AMAZING! Had it twice; a cheese the other week and tonight a ham & pineapple. Definitely my go to pizza shop from now on. Highly recommend you try there 🍕 pizza!

Being a native Pennsylvanian this place is like pure childhood nostalgia. The sandwiches and pizza are outrageous!!! Really glad that these guys are doing their thing.

Love this place. Would be 5 stars if the milkshakes were thicker. They tend to be more like ice cream flavored milk. Foods always been great though and not over priced. Edit: apparently you can order your shakes thick!

Yesterday was my first time going in there and they were so polite to me and gave me smiles. They have old fashion soda bottles , its so cozy in there. Then today i ordered a veggie sub and they did how i wanted it. It was so delicious... I think i found my new sandwich to go and enjoy because its less expensive, and its welcoming as well. There is alot to choose from the menu.

We get something from D&J almost every week. We're never disappointed. This week I tried something different. I ordered a Grilled chicken salad. This was one of the best salads I ever had. It's like a large sandwich with out the roll. So if you want to get something not so filling but delicious go for one of these salads.

Great place to go for sandwiches & salads. My family loves the Turkey salads, they are excellent! In addition to a wide variety of sandwiches, pizza, etc., there is a nice selection of local sodas and ice cream. The staff is always friendly and accommodating.The shop is clean and welcoming, it resembles a 50's style soda shop. Really enjoy having D & J close by.

Always have great service with smiles when I stop in D&J! Their menu has anything you might want from a sandwich shop, plus some other goodies that make this place a great sandwich shop!! Even better is the amount of lunch meat they jam into their subs!!! 😃

I have been going to D & J's for the past 10 years. Sandwich shop is very personal they remember who you are if you come often. They have an old fashion bar stools and counter. It's a very good place to eat and sandwiches are the best in town. Don't forget the pizza. It'ss prepared sicilian-style and it is good. Can't eat a whole Pizza, you can select slices.
