V & S Sandwich Shop

This is the only place that actually makes my food exactly how I like it and they do it with a smile. I have never once had a complaint with my food! I am a very fussy eater so I like my hot sandwiches made a certain way, they don't even look at me funny when I start telling them my order. And the fries, Ive never had fries as good as these! I must get fries with every single order! Food is made fresh to order every time. If I order a head, I never have to wait when I pull up. I love this place and recommend them to everyone!

I ordered Italian hoagies and pasta dinners (meatballs and spaghetti) for pick up. Everything was absolutely delicious. Portions were generous. It was a favorite spot of my late husband and was comforting to be there. Nice to see business going on as usual.

I have been here a couple of times already and I was so surprised by how amazing it is ever since I started going. I never had the chance to express how great it is. The timing of the food, the friendliness of the staff, and the delicious taste of the food is unreal! I love this place with all my heart and will never get tired of it!

The best Sausage peppers&onion -Roast beef and Cheese steak sandwiches.Packed from end to end. Sinking spring and shillington v&s. Next is their Gizmo. Worth the drive. Great service!

Hey, I'll admit that I grew up eating here and there is a special place in my heart for V & S sandwiches, but it is just as good today as it was 30 years ago. Cheesesteak is my favorite! Delicious, filling food for a reasonable price. Don't forget to take a number off the wall to secure your place in the ordering line!

Ordered a small Italian sub and a prefixed spaghetti with sauce with 2 meat balls and a cannoli desert and everything was delicious and prices were in range of satisfaction. Customer service was also very good. I would def order from here again.

V & S is a mainstay of the Reading Area. They have always offered good sandwiches at good prices.

Loved it. We purchased 3 cheese steak sandwich specials. 1 large cheese steak sandwich. 1 order of French fries. Our total bill was just under $40. The food tasted fantastic. We will be a frequent flyer to this establishment. Keep up the good work.

I have been going to V&S all of my life. In the recent past I stopped going there because the customer service had taken a downturn. Grumpy counter staff and long waits for even called in orders. But last night I called in an order and was pleasantly surprised. I arrived to the pick up area and was immediately greeted by a friendly young man. He went to get my order and while I waited 2 other young men asked me if I was waited on. I only waited long enough for the man to put fresh fries in my bag and off I went with the man thanking me and told me to stay safe. The place had an upbeat, happy vibe. Much better V&S!

Our home away from home, But they just raised the prices, and they are a little ridiculous. Don't think we'll be eating there anymore. Really sad, because we used to go there at least once, maybe twice a week.

The woman that waited on me was awesome sauce 😁I literally had my food within less than 5minutes?!? I ordered an Italian sandwich and french fries which both were absolutely delicious 😋 I definitely recommend them! I will be a returning customer💯

This one of the best sandwich places I've been to! The service is out of bounds awesome! I've never experienced such attention to detail from what could be considered a fast food place. The selection is crazy good, but it's the food that sells it! The quality and prices are great. I got the Homeland Italian, which I've not seen anywhere else. I will definitely be back to try more of their fair.

35-year customer. Their cheese steaks and subs still are well worth the trip. Pricing is reasonable, and they now accept credit cards (welcome to the 21st century!). Choice of hard or soft rolls. A Reading institution.

Delicious little sandwich shop where I tried my first authentic cheese steak sandwich. They didn't have soft rolls at the time but the hard roll was great! Their pizza was pretty good too.

If you like unique places, here you go! Their customer service was extraordinary!
This place feels rather unorthodox, and maybe less cozy than some, but I highly recommend it!

Very delicious! I always love coming to this location because it NEVER FAILS! The food is always nice and freshly made to order, served promptly, and the people are very kind as well! Please note before you go that it is a cash only place but they sure are worth it! I make it a point to stop by at least once while I am in the area! Love it, love it, love it! Food is great like the old days, I went there in the 70's and the room was like a sardine can with customers! Could somebody finish painting the walls (look up) and if you can't afford to put a floor down, why not use garage floor paint? It's good stuff. I don't understand a brand new building and it's not completed? Cheese Steak Heaven, keep it up !
