What a great place. This small bar is exceptional. Great staff, Pete and John, best bar tenders and they find really great bands. Even they do not serve food, you are welcome to bring your own. Great beer selection and amazing cocktails. A great place to hang out, enjoy and relax. If you havnt been there, you do not know what you are missing.

Love the atmosphere here, & the beer selection. Bartenders Eric & new guy, John are great! But the beer in cooler in the back was kinda warm. I could deal with it tho!

Mike's is the kind bar where you always find a friendly face and great beer on tap. Pete and Eric are excellent bartenders that greet you with a smile and conversation. If you enjoy live music Mike's is the place to be with great bands on the weekends and don't forget about the open mic nights where diamonds are found.

I always feel much cooler than I am every time I am in this place. There is no higher honor. Go there or be square. Check that. If you don't go there, you ARE square.. Quit being a square and go hang out with some triangles... or a rhombus (spelling?)... or hell, even a circle maybe. Go feel good about yourself.

Mike's is a true hearty establishment full of curiosity, good times, and a general sense of community. I love to come here with new friends and hear live music. It's so cozy and eclectic.

Mike's Tavern is an oasis in the Northwest section of the city near First Energy stadium, the home of the Reading Phils. Pete Camaranno the proprietor is a legend in the local area bar scene. It is THE place to go!

First time here was when my band played. Good local bar with a nice selection of beer. Always love a local place that has local bands play original music.

Mike's is a neighborhood bar of yore that attracts both a boomer and hipster crowd. They offer live music 2-3 nights a week, and a superlative open mic night on Wednesdays (hosted by noted local empresario, Eric) Good selection of IPAs (and occasionally a pilsner or porter) on draft. Double-check, but, generally you can bring your own food (they offer communal pretzels and sell a few other snack foods - they have no kitchen). Cool people, cool vibe. Worth a visit.

Great place for live music and tasty, and cheap, drinks! Also, they have open mike on Wednesdays at 8pm!

Great place so relaxed and friendly they often have live bands and the owner is great. I enjoy it Everytime
