Excellent bar tender! I requested the Pear drink at half sweet and it's perfect! Great cocktails and happy hour menu.
Had the Butternut Squash Risotto - also excellent.

Great place on the ave for dinner! All the food we had was really well prepared and served! The servers were very attentive and had good dinner suggestions.

Love this place never disappointed. Skip bar cart don’t waste your time come to wine down…real bartender can mix you any drink and they have flippin’ awesome food.

This is Winedown 2.0 in every way! Happy hour with decent wine and whiskey at affordable prices. I almost hate to do this review because I'd love to keep this gem all to myself. They have a $20 per person dinner on Wednesdays and it's fabulous. 2 people get a bottle of wine and 2 entrees for $40.
Whoever is setting this up/running the place kudos to you. Food is wonderful, portion sizes are perfect!
I love that I don't need a to go bag. I can eat an appetizer, entree and desert and not feel like I need an hour on the treadmill. I liked the original Winedown but I love the new Winedown.

Fantastic dinner this evening! We started out with a French Chardonnay that was very clean and smooth (notes of grapefruit and I forget the other fruits/flavors). We started with the olives and also the blackberry and goat cheese toast. Ahi tuna and salmon entrees were delightful as well! Great, attentive service! We look forward to coming back in the warmer months to enjoy dining outside 😊

Delicious! We went at happy hour $5 small plates and $6 drink specials!! We had a grapefruit cosmopolitan, blackberry with goatcheese, whipped ricotta, heirloom tomatoes, crispy brussel sprouts, crispy curds all were fabulous. Highly recommend service was fast and server was very pleasant.

Went there this week for a late night drink, but was surprised to find they were still serving food, so we tried it. And man... So tasty. Great late night deals, and what's possibly now my favorite wine... And the duck fries! And great beer too! Just so much great flavor and a great atmosphere. Nice friendly staff. Super fancy feel without crazy prices. So yeah we went back the next night and we'll be back again... Probably a lot.

Nice little selection of wines and appetizer-type food as well as some bigger plates. Great location, nice outside seating if the weather permits. A fun spot for happy hour or for staying longer. The watermelon tomato salad was amazing. Definitely will return.

Quaint and tasty. Whether you just looking for a light snack or a nice meal this may be a good choice if you want something with a relaxing atmosphere and an independent ownership. We enjoyed the wine specials that day and as well as the food special. The aged Gouda with herbed salami was also quite tasty and was great to get started. Overall a pleasant experience, not overly packed and reasonably priced for a more upscale restaurant.

Service was great. Our bartender was Emily. They were extremely busy this night but that did not seem to phase her. She was hustling behind the bar getting orders out all while being personable with superior customer service. Great job Emily. Our drinks were great

My husband and I had dinner at the whiskey bar tonight. Our waitress, Marissa was exceptional. She understood what Scotches and Bourbons to pair with what foods and answered all our questions. The food was very good and the service was wonderful! My husband and I had a great evening. We can’t wait to go back again.

Great food and drinks. This is a smaller than usual place to eat. But those are the places that are always underrated. The Winedown Cafe is worth the money. The bartender knows her stuff. They don't skimp on anything. If you're looking for a lot of food that tastes mediocre, then don't go. But it you're looking for quality food with great flavor, this is the place. We were here last year and we are glad we came back. And we'll be glad we come back next year too.

Came here with friends for dinner and drinks, what a fantastic experience! The food was amazing and the drinks/wine were excellent. I had the sliders and my wife had the pork medallions. We both raved about our meals afterwards. The portions are perfect to satisfy without overfilling. Plenty of room left for dessert which was the sticky toffee cake, absolutely delicious. Will definitely be returning!
