Food is excellent. If you want old-fashioned diner comforts, this is it! Homemade everything. Sit at the counter or a booth. Spend a little, leave full and satisfied in every way. Why 5 stars for such a small town eatery? Because I like good food, good value and simplicity. You will see

Good food offerings from a simplified menu. We had the hamburger and an egg salad sandwich with soup. All was delicious and served up quickly.

The food was homemade and delicious. Everyone was very nice even though we got there later than I would have liked for lunch (close to closing time). Things were just as I had hoped for in a small town diner.

Cute, clean, friendly little diner... A Troy, PA staple! Have only been for breakfast, but so many great options and everything is fresh, delicious, nice portions, and quality ingredients. As far as I know, no credit cards, so something to keep in mind! Highly recommend!!

Troy Lunch is the best place to get a homemade meal in Troy. The staff is courteous and friendly, and the atmosphere will take you back to a simpler time. There is a variety of diner food with breakfast served all day. Pennsylvania-made maple syrup is a staple to the menu. Enjoy a blueberry pancake or come for the battered fish with world-class macaroni and cheese on Fridays.
When Elizabeth Hulslander cooks, you are guaranteed a fantastic meal.
