The food isn’t cheap, but it was very tasty and a great atmosphere. The service was great and everyone was extremely friendly.

Stopped in this spot because my friend was craving a steak. We are from Houston and I read good reviews from this place. We arrived late, 40 minutes before they closed (we normally don't do this, but we were starving), they were so nice and polite. We ordered the waygu and the truffle fries! They were delicious. The steak melted in our mouths like butter. The truffle fries were aaaaamazing. They were so polite with recommendations and etc. I definitely recommend this restaurant and the wait staff. Thank you

Great neighborhood bar near Alvernia University. Cozy pub atmosphere with friendly service. Delicious fresh food.

Hands down the best wings around. The variety of flavors and size of the wings makes this place our families go to wing place. Great beer selection and drinks. Looks like a house, not hard to find but if you didn't know it you would think it's just a house on the block. Try it you will not be disappointed!!

The surf and turf Burger is out of this world. What ever crab dip doesn't make it into your mouth can be scouped up with the chips. You will be tempted to lick the paper in the basket

The bartenders were very nice and even gave e me an extra beer that someone else ordered but didn't want. They have good beers on tap. There's a porch you can smoke at and the interior is dark wood and cozy

I’ve really started frequenting this place over the last few months when one of my favorite waitresses, Rayna, joined their staff. She’s been serving my family and I for years and has always does a fantastic job. She’s always very attentive and works circles around most other waiters/waitresses I’ve seen in my years of going out to eat. I also just love how this place is a an old house converted into a bar, really gives it a great atmosphere. Last but certainly not least, their wings are FANTASTIC - I’d recommend the Old Bay dry rub

Great place to grab lunch. Not too busy and the prices are very reasonable. Hot wings were juicy and the sauces tasted great. The 10000 ghost flavor wasn't too hot but it tasted great unlike out super hot sauces.

Last but not least the chicken Caesar salad was really solid and the portion was great.

This is a hidden gem that has been around since 1945. I am so glad we stumbled upon it. The food is always fresh and amazing. The wings are mouth watering, zesty Italian, smokey bear, and parm peppercorn our faves so far. The seafood quesadillas I want more please.

15 violations from food safety inspections is not surprising considering when I was a cook there, the efforts I made via my ServSafe training were moot because someone in authority above me didn’t care. Obviously with 15 violations. Best of luck. I hope you’ve replaced management as that individual certainly is responsible for your mess

I cant speak enough about how much I love this place! 1st the staff is awesome. The 2 Beautiful bartenders/waitresses Elena and Tracy are great at their jobs and make you feel as though your a regular patron. The Cream of Crab soup is ridiculous! It's a must for crab lovers.
Trust me and give it a shot, you won't be disappointed.

Very friendly & quaint corner pub, but they have the BEST RIBS bar none in the 50 mile radius! Seriously folks, you like ribs, pay em a visit, you won't be disappointed!!! Had the ribs, 1/2 lb steamed shrimp and the burgers are VERY GOOD as well! No other establishment in our area has better ribs!!! Sorry I would have taken a pic but once you have one in your hands you're not stopping!

This place has come to New Light. My last visit has beaten all the others added up. The $$ and the quality have finally become equal. The service was great and everyone worked together to keep the customer's drinks full and food moving. Looking forward to my next visit here!

8/29/16 aprox 6:30pm~ This was the 1st time I was there and I can assure you I will be returning and taking others with me. I had the BEST mushroom cheese burger and onion rings ever. Not to mention the service was great. The owner was so refreshingly pleasant. Thank you for a terrific evening!!

Great little gem in Reading! Cozy , comfortable atmosphere and friendly service. Owner very congenial and involved. Menu is interesting and with changing specials. Had salmon bites appetizer - delicious! The crab cake sandwich seafood night special was also very good. My boyfriend said the French dip was "amazing!". Also went back to check out the St. Patrick's day menu. We tried the scotch egg ( yummy) . Boyfriend had a perfect burger and I ordered Jim's guiness stew. The stew and homemade Irish soda bread were spot on! Could've licked the plate! Try this restaurant. Location and building a little quirky but kind of takes you back to old school hometown bar/restaurant days. You won't be disappointed!
