I am a lover of whiskey-based cocktails and heard Grind had a great selection so I thought I’d check it out. We came on a Friday night for dinner and drinks and, while my drinks were as delightful as expected (Down South Julep is a must-try!), they paled in comparison to the amazing meal.

We got the cheese plate as an appetizer - just beautiful to look at and every single bite was delicious. I love when I eat a dish and get the sense that every item on the plate was put there thoughtfully and that is how the cheese plate felt.

I ordered the halibut special and it was cooked perfectly. The accompanying parsnip puree and zucchini roll were just amazing. Plate cleaned!

I was in a group of three and we really wanted to try the desserts so we shared three (no regrets!) - the tiramisu, crème brûlée, and pistachio cream puff were all so good we had to ask our server who they had making such amazing desserts!

Our server was lovely! I regret I didn’t catch her name - on a busy Friday night, she was attentive and cheerful.

The ambiance is really cool. There’s an old-fashioned industrial vibe and I particularly liked that, even though it appears small from the outside, the table arrangement makes it appear spacious. The restrooms were clean with fixtures that match the vibe. Really cool all around.

Looking forward to going back to try more items on their menu!

This place is amazing through and through! Everything we tried was so good, the service was top tier, and the atmosphere is so cozy and cute! They even have a lounge to enjoy drinks and appetizers, along with an area for large parties. This was my family’s first time trying this place and we all agree that we can’t wait to come back! We had the chicken bacon ranch flatbread to start, meatball bowls as entrees, and the carrot cake for dessert. All three were amazing! Definitely recommend this place, will have to come back to try more of the menu!

I had the broccoli and cheese soup with the grilled cheese with chicken meatballs in it. It was all very delicious. My friend had the meatball sandwich and fries. He also had the french onion soup. Forgot to get a picture of that. We ended our meal with a slice of the carrot cake. It was all very delicious.

Fantastic restaurant! Food and atmosphere was amazing. The food really surprised me for this small town in PA. Reminds me of the food in a big city as it was truly phenomenal. To add to the deliciousness, the prices are more than fair. The bill was much lower than my expectations.

Coming in on a Friday night during prime dinner time, there was only about a 10 minute wait before we were seated. The service was pretty good but could use slight improvement. But our waitress Sam was fantastic!

Poutine was great with amazing flavors. I loved this dish.

The crab drip was out of this world. Whenever I eat out, I will order crab dip if it’s available. This crab dip is top 3 for the best I’ve ever had. And it probably is #1. The creaminess and crab flavor was on point! They definitely did not skimp on the crab which was amazing. A lot of restaurants will lack in the amount of crab, but Grind definitely did not. Amazing!

Pan seared chicken was again another great dish. The dish reminded me of my time in Italy as the dish was crafted similarly. The chicken was crispy but also very tender. The rosemary glaze on top was beautifully made. The potato puree was unique and delicious (don’t usually see this and last time I had it was in Italy). The carrots on the side had great flavor and were cooked perfectly. Overall this dish really knocked it out of the park.

Margarita pizza was also great according to my partner. I didn’t try it as I don’t really like balsamic on my pizza. But she said it was great!

Overall, would 10/10 recommend coming here. I hope to find myself in this small town once again so that I can eat here again.

I will definitely come back here!

First time visiting. The establishment seems to be split into lounge, bar & restaurant areas. Seating is all very comfortable.

They're celiac safe & offer plenty of gluten free options! Menu is clearly marked.

Our waitress really knew her stuff & went into detail on the food. She was on top of everything.

The cheese platter & burger were phenomenal. So delicious. I have 4 star for service because it took over an hour to get a burger & a simple cheese plate. I also got the wrong cheese on my burger (Ain't no way I'm sending food back for that). Fries themselves were undercooked.

I'm not a fan of the industrial meets farmhouse look. It's not welcoming. Many light bulbs were burnt out.

Suggestions.
Get some gluten free beers (the winter seltzer was SO good though).
Label the cheese in the Chartrutarie board/cheese platter, otherwise guests are left to guess what they're eating. For this price point, it should be clearly marked.

We will definitely be back. It's very difficult to find good Celiac safe/gluten free establishments with yummy food but we found yall!

This was my first visit to Grind and I really enjoyed it. The staff was friendly and there was plenty of parking in the side/rear lots. (I'm glad that their website had a diagram of where to park and where not to park.). We were quickly seated and the server was okay. He forget refills and other things a few times, so I have to ding a star a there. The dining room was decorated nicely with a Christmas tree and all. The food was really good. We had a lot of different items and everything tasted great. I'm not a drinker but they had a nice looking bar and the drink menu had a lot of items. Pricing wasn't too bad, except for the expensive "market price" steak that someone ordered, but it wasn't out of line for the quality. I would eat here again.

Update 02/22/2023: Tried to eat here on Wednesday night, but after driving here, I discovered that they were not open. Google maps and their own website didn't say anything about being closed, but they were not open. I don't know what was up with that, but I was disappointed.

The food here is off the charts great! I love their beef meatball grilled cheese with bacon Gouda cheese sauce. The Milenese cigars are crazy delicious with he freshest of asparagus wrapped in prosciutto and puff pastry. It comes with a dipping sauce that is so yummy it makes me cry a little that I can’t cook like this! That’s okay, I have a reason to come back over and over again! The desserts are also really tasty. Katie is the best server ever!! The beer selection is good, the hard liquor is plentiful and the mixed drinks are amazing. You won’t be disappointed when you eat here!! The service was amazing!

This is definitely a gem we came across looking for semi fancy restraunts when we like to dress nice and have a nice dinner date. You get some good food for a great price. Last year we came across this place and had a wonderful date night here. Than we took my partner mom for christmas eve dinner and the wood was still great and staff was wonderful when they were busy with the holiday season.
We just went back recently for a fancy date night. We started with some flavored lemonades. Which are good and little exspensive at $5 each but it has some good flavors to it. Than we got ranch chicken flatbread which is always freaking amazing. Has such a good fresh flavor to it and light. Than i got the meatball bowl with beef meatballs and there yummy mac and cheese. And my partner got a burger. Which was the first time we tried something else besides the bowl. It was really good and juicy. And the fries also had a fresh taste too.

Everthing so far with our multiple trips have also left us filled and happy with service and food. I would suggest to get a reservation just in case. And get some desert if you leave some room. They also have beer and mix drink specials if your interested in that. Youll see pictures attached to this review from our last visit. Which i got caught taking the pictures and the waitress was funny about it. But the things i do to show some love nothing bad lol. Yeah the prices are little high but they are reasonable. And the food and ingredients definitely make the price worth it. The atmosphere is also really fun. kind of gives you a mix of upscale but also at home chill feeling. You can have an intimate dinner or have a large group of people and not feel crowded which is awesome.
So check them out see if you have the same experience hopefully. And if not definitely worth giving them a second chance. Will be our fancy date nite or important meeting place for sure in our future.

Had a wonderful meal here. We went on a Sunday evening around 6:30, so there weren’t too many other people there and it was a bit quiet, but I imagine Friday and Saturday nights are more lively. We got the grab dip and asparagus cigars which were delicious. My husband got the burger for dinner and got I got the swordfish special which was phenomenal!
Logan was our waitress. She did a great job - very attentive. Top restaurant in town for us!

This place was amazing. I made a reservation for our date night and the woman who answered the phone was very polite and didn't sound annoyed like some places when you call. When we got there we were seated right away. The menu had so many different things that sounded delicious that it was hard to pick. The waitress was great and knowledgeable. There was plenty of food that we both were able to bring home leftovers for lunch the next day. We would definitely go back again.

We eat here quite a bit as it has become our favorite go to. Food is always tasty and well prepared. Service has always been very good to great. Bartenders make fantastic drinks and there are a lot of bourbon choices. For drinks, the old-fashioned and Kentucky Mules are my favorite. There are so many good food choices but they outdid themselves this weekend with a beef Wellington special. One of the best meals I have ever had in my life!! I hope they bring this back occasionally. It was phenomenal!!

Unexpectedly cozy interior! Surprised we have not eaten here sooner. Came for breakfast on a Sunday (which begins at 9 luckily for us early birds) Great menu options. Both meals were more than satisfactory and I ended it on a delicious blueberry danish note. We will be back!

Love Grind!! The food is delicious and the portions were huge! I enjoyed the crab mac and cheese very much and the seafood appetizer is phenomenal. Good selection of kids meals in a comfortable, unassuming setting that still has a really enjoyable, classy vibe. Great drinks and a great time with friends and loved ones! Desserts were not well stocked on a Saturday night, but that would be the only area that could use a little extra attention -- maybe they were just busy!

Were in the area and found this place on Maps. Glad we did. Strawberry salad was delicious. Cheese board had many good selections. Fries poutine was good flavor, just wish the fries were little crispier. Meatball bowl (beef with arabbiato sauce), had really tender meatballs with great flavor. Will have to come back.

First, let me state I love a good meatball. That being said my experience at "Grind" was very good all around. The service was good, atmosphere was somewhat rustic and yhe decor was all matching.
The star of this show was the meatballs for which I have heard much love for and they did not disappoint. I had Italian wedding soup, which was very easy to eat along with a couple of soft rolls and butter. The Ceasars salad is presented with flourish and tastes as good as it looks. The main attraction was meatballs with a slightly spicy red sauce over polenta that was delicious. The meatballs (I choose beef for my first outing there) were cooked well and juicy. Polenta was smooth and the sauce had a bit of spice to it but not overly so.
The concept is to choose your meatball protein (chicken, beef or seafood), what's going under it (from roll to polenta, pasta, macaroni and cheese and more), then a sauce which red tomatoes, or mushrooms and more. I choice the bowel which provided large meatballs and a satisfactory amount of polenta.
I was able to try the Mac and cheese with bacon and mushroom and was equally as good and hearty.
The drinks are well made and not watered down! I had a long Island ice tea and was very good.
The food is delicious, the service was great and friendly (but not too much) as well as prompt but too fast. There are plenty of kid friendly dishes on the menu and despite there being a prominent full service bar in the back of the room I would recommend to families.
Prices are fair portions are filling. Recommended and I will be back to try more of the plates I saw!
Please note parking is off street and I can see that a small walk may happen, but it's well worth it.

I stumbled across this restaurant looking for new places to try near our home. We've been here for 2 years now and I'm very sad I hadn't found Grind sooner. My husband and I went for our anniversary dinner and everything was amazing. We started out with the Crab Dip which you could see the chunks of crab meat in! So good. Then he had scallops and risotto and I had pre-ordered their weekend special of the Beef Wellington. Everything was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. We didn't try their meatballs so we will definitely be back.

I can not say enough about how incredible my filet and his duck was. The dessert was incredible. If they weren’t closed June 26 to July 13th this summer they would have definitely been my rehearsal dinner spot 100%. Highly recommend

We were recommended to try this place tonight at a meeting with another Boyertown area business. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT! My fiancé and I love trying new places. I had the Down South Julep, Seafood Cocktail, and Crispy skin Salmon with the Gouda Bacon Mac N Cheese. My fiancé had the Mozzarella Caprese and Short-rib/ Brisket burger. We loved it all!
