The pizza was really good, I loved the atmosphere, and the employees were very welcoming and friendly. The layout of the restaurant is very traditional as well. I was trying to find a place that sold pizza similar to New Yorks and it definitely didn’t disappoint. Glad to have found a hidden gem :)

This is a hidden little gem. The dining room inside is gorgeous, and decorated ornately, the food was great, service was fast, helpful and kind. I'll definitely go again. We say at a table outside since the weather was beautiful and they served us at our table after ordering. The garden outside and a nice relaxing table in the shade.

The owner Mike is top notch and will often accommodate nearly any request to make your dining experience more enjoyable. With standard pizzeria faire, this place is a great go to lunch location.

I absolutely love their salads and baked goods! Everything we've tried is very good.

Great place. Just passing through the area but it doesn’t disappoint. Had the Great White Monster (white pizza) - filling and a great taste. Owner was super friendly.

If you want fast food made with love. This is the place to go to. And the home made cakes that the owners wife makes are amazing!!! Very nice setting to have dinner.

Good food, good service at a reasonable price by today's standards.

Very nice people. Very gracious portions. There chef salad will feed you 2-3 for sure. And are full of stuff besides just lettuce.

We had a party of seven, and a party of six had just got there just before us. There was one person working that day. We only waited about ten minutes more than normal. I consider that GREAT SERVICE. Will go back again.

JR's Pizzeria is wonderful! Cindy and Mike are nice, funny and make delicious food and cakes. The cakes are to die for and their Italian hoagies are filled to the brim with fresh ingredients. Make sure you try their food, you won't be sorry!

Top notch pizza and menu. Owners treat everyone like family. Incredible baked goods as well. Beautifully decorated interior and dining room that changes with the season. Couldn't get better.

Stopped in after travel soccer game, nice place inside, pizza by the slice and a full menu of other stuff, good prices.

BEST Stromboli in the world!! Meatball parm equally wonderful! They have terrific catering for sandwhich platters and hot Italian dishes, and the desserts are just incredible, made by owner's wife. Great for take out, and they also have a very quaint little dining room for eat-in. So glad we found this place. Not easy to see them, tucked away in Flying Hills Center but WELL worth looking for.

Another great place for a good sandwich or Cheesesteak and great pizza. What's that down clear I can't hear you. Again very nice staff friendly, the owner I'm telling you. It's worth a trip out

Pizza tastes great. Quick service, nice seating area in and outdoors. Pretty cozy. The servings are great for the price. And the flavor? It is just great pizza!

Mike and his staff are exactly what you'd want from a hometown pizza place. They are some of the friendliest. I'm glad my wife and I have found a place to become regulars.

Mike and Cindy are phenomenal at what they do and have been running their catering business/restaurant for roughly 30 years. To say their food is terrific would be quite the understatement, as they have always made the most exceptional Pizza (at the least) in all of Berks County. When it comes down to the level of professionalism, ettiqeut and overall knowledge in hospitality: JR's Pizzeria and Catering are unrivaled.

From hoagies, cheessteaks, the pizza, to Cindy's homemade pasteries, its hard to recommend what to order when everything is extraordinary. The staff are always well trained and the dining room is beautiful. When someone asks where the good pizza is at in my area, I take them straight to JRs.
