Beef Jerky Experience-Pittsburgh

Beef jerky experience, indeed! Beef jerky has never been my go-to snack so I’m not a pro when it comes to flavor, texture, etc. I’ve tried it a handful of times and every time I didn’t exactly enjoy the complete experience. Sometimes the flavor is not enough, but mostly in my experience, the beef is just too hard. Until I went to Beef Jerky Experience, I didn’t know beef jerky could practically melt in my mouth. I wouldn’t normally stop in a beef jerky store, but I thought maybe I could buy some and bring it back home for my family to try. They love it. I ended up trying a whole bunch of samples which happens every Sunday, lucky me. I had recommendations thrown my way, friendly people, and I didn’t hate anything. I’m just annoyed I didn’t buy more because my family wanted more as well after trying these. It’s a small store with a large variety of beef jerky, merchandise, and other items. As you may know, this place is on a very busy strip, so most days you will have to pay for parking unless you know something I don’t. Or if it’s the Lords day. I’m sure a lot of people have been through this joint but if you haven’t, try it because I didn’t know I’m a beef jerky person. Just had to find the right ones for me. You’re welcome jagoffs*!

My family and I just happened to stumble upon this place when we were out in the Strip District and we are so glad that we did. It was a hot day and we just planned on going in to buy some water. Once we were inside, we were kindly greeted by the cashier who offered to let us try free samples of their jerky. She said we could try as many samples as we would like and she even made recommendations. After trying a few, we decided to buy a couple of bags of our favorites. They have so many varieties and flavors that it was hard to choose which ones to buy. Great service and delicious jerky. I recommend stopping by if you are in the Strip.

i live 7 hours away and i have to say the hospitality was genuinely the great of all times. the customer service from both dani and her husband where unreal and out of this world. i’ve returned for another visit with my beef jerky loving family to enjoy!!! i hope you can find the time to go check out the once in a life time life changing beef jerky experience like no other!

The place is great, the have a wide variety of jerkey and easy to access samples. In terms of price it's more than a bag at the local gas station will cost but the quality is excellent.

Really the only downer of this place is it's location and the nightmare that is parking in the strip

The man behind the desk in this store was a pleasure to speak with! We explained that we were visiting in the area and he pointed out some of their best sellers for us and even gave us some samples to try. It was nice to be able to support a small business with extremely tasty products. I will definitely be purchasing with them online in the future.

Great place for beef jerky. The people that work there are very helpful and friendly.

It’s one of my favorite places to go to the hospitality is very welcoming!!!!!they have a few extracts that reach 3 million scovile and a couple store brand sauces that are great on the palate if can try the peach habanero sauce .and of course the beef jerky it’s delicious if you like heat with you jerky try the Armageddon it will make you feel da burn

In town for a cheer competition and I had never tried jerky before but assumed I hated it. The lovely woman in this store was so helpful and said “why not try a piece and if you don’t like it I have a garbage.” I tried it and I have to say I loved it. She explained the differences in the various types and overall very very helpful. 10 out of 10 would stop again.

Knowledgeable and very friendly staff. pretty decent selection also. This is a beef jerky chain so they have some limitations on their selection, but overall or was and is worth checking them out. They also had some hot sauces and bbq sauces also. Just stop and check em out.

Great selection, and you can try most of it before buying. Walked out with much more jerky than I planned to just because I couldn't find a jerky (that I tried) that I didn't like.

Beef jerky Experience is absolutely worth the stop! Rick is a Pittsburg icon. We will never forget is hospitality and expertise! The cherry maple is a must buy! Enjoy!

A store full of jerky and hot sauces? It's like a dream come true. The adult version of a candy store. Super friendly staff and owner. They offer samples of everything and even have a rewards program. Definitely making regular trips to the strip to stock up and try the MANY available flavors/types.

Bought so many flavors and my husband and kids loved them all. Doug is a great guy. We will be back often as I think my family is addicted. Great product and fantastic service and atmosphere.

Incredible selection of products. This store does it right—they have unmatched quality and customer service. What I really like is that the majority of the selection of jerky’s and meats, have a high protein content and are low in fat with minimal to no sugars or carbs. A healthy label with a taste that is delicious and savory, makes this a winner for me and a good choice for healthy eating and weight management that I can feel good about putting into my body.

Great variety of jerky and other items. Will find jerky in many flavors and meats. Staff very friendly and helpful. Discounts offered on return visits. Can order the jerky on line as well. Sample almost everything so you know what you are buying. Very happy with my purchases. Also offer pet items. Highly recommend to check this place when in the strip. I know I will return when I go.

They sell a product called Gator Toes. Which are crispy, dried garlic cloves coated in Reaper Pepper seasoning. They are so tasty and so incredibly hot they freeze my vocal cords each time. I can only eat 3 in one sitting so a bag lasts me about a week. Their selection of jerky is the most extensive I've seen in a store . The flavors range from typical to unique. It's now my go-to snack store!

This place is amazing. Was in town checking some new things out and found this gem. So much fun stuff and the jerky we purchased was excellent!! Also picked up some fun gifts for friends for when we returned home. Will go back for sure the next time in the area.

Every time we go into the city, we have to stop by Beef Jerky Outlet. I really love spicy jerky, and they have some super hot stuff which I appreciate. They also have other flavors of all types. You have to stop by and try their samples.
