This place is simply fantastic. I have frozen shoulder and my therapy has been top notch. They care so much about the comfort and happiness of their patients. I see them give this type of service to everyone that goes there. My therapist is Adam and that man is actually healing me. If you want world-class physical therapy then you'll want to go here. If you want to be treated with care in a pleasant atmosphere then look no further. The staff there are healers......As for the bad review left here. I have seen none of these issues when I go there. As for calling they always return my calls. or even call me directly if there is a change in schedule. Maybe they have a much better staff now. The current staff seems really great and my therapy is excellent. I so sorry your experience was not like mine.

I can't believe that the bad reviews i'm reading are about the same place. I'm going here for OT after surgery on my hand. Every employee has been courteous and friendly and the therapists are all very knowledgeable. My hand is recovering very well and they care about my overall wellness. They do their best to work around my schedule. I've recommended them to many others. I researched facilities and feel that I made an excellent and well-informed decision. Parking is easy, although it's $5 in the lot. Even the parking lot attendant is super nice. I would give six starts if I could.

I personally think this place is great — at least the Pain Medicine department. My partner is a patient of Dr. Zheng, and she & her team are always wonderful to him.

I've been treated by three doctors from this clinic; 2 for wrist pain, 1 for new clenching. Each one I worked with was kind, professional, and seemed truly invested in my well-being. Close to my house, would highly recommend

I don't understand the negative reviews because I've always had pleasant experiences here. The staff was kind and respectful towards me every time and Dr. Bernstein was attentive and thorough.

These people literally saved my life in the Fibro group. I went from basically bedridden to playing stage shows as a musician.

Every doctor that I have seen has been truly amazing! Everyone involved in the fibro clinic are angels on earth

WOW! I've NEVER in my life had such a rude attendant answer the phone. Due to being given wrong numbers and information and the women giving me different instructions than the email from my doctor I had pulled up at the time of the call. I start to explain the confusion on my end and what exactly I needed to be done when she at first did not want to make the appointment she cuts me off not even a full sentence into my conversation with a "Well i'm not a therapist I make appointments so let's just schedule the appointment" with a cold ignorant sneer you could hear in her voice. I have never had a doctors scheduler use such poor manners on the phone as this women. I wouldn't have began to tell you anything about the problem if she would have just made the appointment without the non sense of what she thought my doctor should be doing in the first place. Disgusting. If you can't hand humans don't work with them. If you work for a place where people are going through stuff and you don't have the patients or the manners anytime or for the day you either don't work in that line of work or don't go to work that day. WOW.

Made three phone calls. No one called back. Let my general physical at Upmc know about this and now going to AHN. Had no issue to make an appointment for the next day the first moment I called. What a disgrace

I went to this office as I needed a pain management doctor to manage my pain due to chemotherapy treatments and that I would always have joint pain and chronic pain since being treated.... Well I went to see Dr. Cheryl Bernstein and while I have read the reviews I wanted to see for myself if this was exactly the person I was to see... well in short I was seen by her resident and he made a decision of increasing medications as well as medical marijuana (I work in healthcare) I don't think sparking up a blunt or joint is acceptable regardless to it being legal.... I was amazed as I was seen by a CRNP who understood and worked with my case prior to and I requested for her to review my case but was told she only does inpatient.... I am not one to be a complaining type but I felt as though I was labeled as drug seeking and when I have proper diagnosis and doctors notes to substantiate my pain and too be short with me and act as if I wasn't worth the time or address my personal needs.... I wouldn't recommend a dog to be seen here they look at you as if your drug addicts and to tell a patient who has been through years of chemotherapy and have oncologist notes to back the claims they recommend therapy and other approaches.... such as MARIJUANA instead of medication is beyond words please please please go somewhere else

I also wish I could give less than 1 star. This place is an absolutely terrible waste of time. They couldn't possibly be *less* interested in trying to help you. After my evaluation, this guy really said to me with a straight face: "I have no idea what's wrong with your back." I gave them 2 more chances to earn my respect or care about my pain, and they are consistently awful. The PTs and staff just stand in little clusters and socialize. They don't watch you or make sure you are doing the exercises correctly. It's a total joke.

Had knee replacement surgery in mid March. Was cleared today to start outpatient rehab. Have left 3 messages this week. No one has called back. My at home physical therapist called today to see what the hold up is. They apologized for the delay. I was told they would call me by noon today! Nothing, no one has reached out in any form. Very hard to get better if no one is even interested in getting you started. I have owned my own business for 30 years and have never not called someone back. What does this say about out medical care in Pittsburgh? How do these people keep their jobs? Just disgusting the lack of empathy for their patients

This place is horrible. I went in January of this year to see a pain medicine doctor because my former orthopedic doctor said my problem was "too complex". The student doctor was unprofessional and mentioned my anorexia freshman year of high school ok I'm almost 27 that was years ago I'm now heathly this has nothing to do with my pain. The actual physician was o help either. I did some if my rebilitating treatment here. Terrible experience. They cancelled on me, they had me in occupational and physical therapy just 1 time a week. Thanks to this place, my spine which originally was merging to the right is now pushing to the left into my ribs. They also tore a muscle by my hip again (not accident related with the injury I went through domestic violence.) So I'm now receiving treatment at Allegheny Health Network which is so much better than UPMC. Do not go here unless you want to be in pain. I'm really glad I switched health networks.

Worst experience I EVER had in a doctor's office. I was insulted, humiliated, and basically told my pain was all in my head, to go see a psychiatrist. DON'T go here unless you want humiliated.

Not worth rating. Doctors with no compassion, more interested in making slurs about addiction than treating the patient.

Doctors will be honored by being placed on the medical wall of shame. It's a pity that they can't be prosecuted for crimes against humanity.
