Drew is VERY knowledgeable and spent time thoroughly inspecting my roof to provide a comprehensive estimate, with pictures and videos to show me exactly what I needed and provided explanations for why. He assured the work would be guaranteed with a warranty and would be done in a timely and professional manner. On roof day, a large crew arrived and knocked down the old shingles, repaired and replaced damaged wood and installed new shingles, vents and flashing in 6 hours! The work is beautiful. Every employee of MHI that I spoke to and worked with was extremely professional and kind. Highly recommend!

MHI exceeded expectations! Had a minor leak during strong winds, which indicated our original roof urgently required replacement. Recommended by a coworker, MHI proved exceptional. Transparent throughout, they provided ample visuals, expertly addressed queries, and detailed the roofing process, our roof's condition, available solutions, and financing options. I can't say enough about how great it was to work with Jethro and his team! Jethro was a wonderful salesman, who walked us through all of the details of our job, was very clear on what work needed to be done and how they would do all of it. Ryan and Dylan worked with us on our job, along with Jethro being on-site and taking great care of us. They were extra considerate about our landscaping and new driveway. We had updates sent to us throughout the roofing process and tons of pics! We are very happy with how sharp our new roof looks, the quality of the materials and quality of the work that was done. I love the color and little details that modernized our roof. The crew worked hard for two days in the extreme heat and did a fantastic job! They were also very considerate cleaning up. The team at MHI did an amazing job on my roof repair. This is a leak that had literally been going on for 12 years. It was a complicated repair between an addition porch roof onto an existing roof and had been a long time problem. I have literally hired four different contractors, spent thousands and thousands of dollars and only MHI got the repair done! Edgar and the crew that did the work were amazing! They were professional, and committed to getting the job done right. If you choose MHI, you will not regret it!

Conner provided a very in-depth & detailed inspection of our roof which also included drone pictures that helped us see & understand specific things about replacing the roof. He was very personable & knowledgeable. He was always quick to respond to all of the questions we had after our initial meeting. When he came back out to meet with us again, he was very helpful & patient while we chose the color of shingles for the roof. It’s been a great experience so far & we’re looking forward to having the roof installed.

Jet was extremely helpful, patient and thorough. He helped me see all aspects of the job that I hadn't realized I should consider. He left me with an exact quote with pictures and quantities of each product that I selected. The drone pictures helped assure me of the visual inspection he made, so there should be no surprises. It helped identify problem areas that I didn't see or understand from before.

The team wasn’t messing around. The job called for 2 days work and the team knocked it out in 1 day. They arrived at 7:08 and they were removing old shingles by 7:20. The complete roof and one repair section was completed by 4:30. Job well done!!!

Project: I had a complete roof installation. All new architectural shingles and re-sheeting. Rolled roof for the low slope roof on the back of the house.

Overall: It was a great project. The roof was completed in one day. The roof looks great and the crew cleaned up really well. No issues during installation. MHI will not be the cheapest option, but paying the price for the top GAF certification and warranty is worth it.

Customer Service: Our sales expert (Josh Marshman) was excellent throughout the whole process, from initial contact and estimate until completion. Josh even addressed some follow-up questions and visited my home afterwards. He was half of the reason why I selected MHI (the other half being experience and warranties). Josh was very personable, honest, took the time to explain everything, and we were always in contact. I would highly recommend asking for Josh if you are looking for someone to give you one-on-one customer service throughout your project.

MHI Roofing, especially Chuck has been amazing. He answered every call, text, and email that I sent with expedience. They were quick to get me a competitive quote and explain it in great detail. The quote was very detailed and covered every aspect of the job, more than I even wanted to know. When I spoke with Chuck on the phone and explained my situation, he worked with me to get the best possible solution to my problem. So far, the customer service has been phenomenal. I haven't had the roof installed yet, but based on the level of service I has received so far, I do not anticipate any concerns.

We felt he was kind, compassionate and professional. He listened to our concerns, answered questions, and actually walked the roof and showed pictures, gave an itemized estimate, and showed us how job would be done. Estimate was about $10, 00 less with better quality products then other bids.

My house had a rapidly worsening leak that had been patched twice over the Winter so we knew we needed to find a roofing contractor fairly quickly before Spring rains hit. We met several contractors the first couple of weeks of February, and Jethro Claxon with MHI really stood out immediately as being someone concerned with solving our problems (there were others including the leak) and not with selling us something. He's personable, professional and knowledgeable, answering all of our many questions along the way. He helped us design a beautiful roof for our home. The process with MHI was pretty seamless too, from onboarding to 'day-of'. Our roof was finished in a day, and the crew was professional and highly detailed. Jet was there for most of the day so we also felt supported through the execution phase. There's a lot of peace of mind now knowing we won't have to think about our roof again for quite a while. Wow! Zach did one of the most thorough inspections we've ever had, which set expectations sky high. Once Josh and Dario's crew arrived it was like a well-oiled machine, one that knows a thing or two about construction. They worked with precision and purpose. Josh was super transparent and on-site the whole time to give us updates and answer questions. One of the things that most impressed me was that our house is very inaccessible for a job like this, yet Dario's crew made it look like a walk in the park. I can't say enough good things about MHI, especially Zach, Josh, Dario and his crew. Hands down the best experience I've had with a roofing contractor.

Drew was very professional, thorough, and quick. He inspected our roof from the attic and the outside, provided video and a clear explanation of his findings, and didn't try to sell unnecessary services. Would highly recommend for an inspection.

Update 5/11/2023: New roof was installed today. Justin (today’s site foreman) said he’d be at our house at a certain time and he was - exactly!

Today’s crew worked diligently and efficiently. They cleaned up the worksite so well that you wouldn’t even know they were here - as if the new roof just magically appeared! I’m in awe at how they can climb high ladders with such ease as they carry heavy packages of shingles over their shoulders. One guy did leave behind his sunglasses, but we’ll pass them on to the soffit and gutters team which is next on the project list.

There is one bad thing about today’s new roof installation: The roof looks beyond amazing, but the faded siding is now screaming, “Paint me!”

Following major wind and storm damage and after emergency tarps were put on the roof (tarps not pictured below), we made contact with MHI Roofing on a Saturday. The following Tuesday (yep, 3 days later!) Jethro showed up on time and did a thorough inspection. We decided to go with MHI Roofing for 4 reasons:

1) They are an established small business. They only do roofs (every shingle day!), not windows, not doors, not siding. Just roofs.

2) Jethro was very knowledgeable about the roofing trade (in the same way we are very knowledgeable in our lines of work), and he fully understood and sympathized with our frustration with the insurance company’s unreliable claims inspection subcontractor.

3) While Jethro and MHI Roofing are entitled to make a commission and/or profit, the estimate was not grossly overpriced. Is it expensive? Yes, but this is a major purchase; much of the costs that small businesses have to endure today are due to situations beyond their control (hyper-inflation, transportation and manufacturing delays, high energy costs). We are all feeling the vise tighten. While neighbors may want to cut corners and costs that are detrimental to a home’s covering (and subsequent long term value), we wanted it done correctly. MHI Roofing has check all the important boxes (so far).

4) We didn’t walk into this blindly. We did our research. We also didn’t feel pressured by MHI Roofing. Wind and storm damage is unsettling on your primary dwelling (especially on the roof!), but trying to get the insurance company to do their job effectively became the most frustrating part of this journey.

Our new roof is on hold (MHI has ordered the materials) while we wait on the insurance claims subcontractor, but we’re excited and will be able to rest easier once this project is underway and then successfully completed!

Josh and Dario and his crew were very professional and available for any questions or concerns that we had. Never stopped, except for lunch, despite several setbacks not of their making. We were kept apprised of all obstacles they encountered and made part of the solution process of dealing with them. Overall a very positive experience. I recently had my roof replaced and MHI Roofing made the entire installation process, seamless. The crew arrived as scheduled. They were extremely professional and efficient. At the end of each day, they cleaned the entire exterior of my home and after 2 days, I had a beautiful new roof and the price was very reasonable. Thanks, MHI Roofing for being totally awesome.

After talking with nearly 10 roofing companies, I decided to go with MHI. They were the ONLY company to actually go in the attic, on the roof and fly a drone over when giving me a quote. Another company that was a close second for me, never went in the attic and then added nearly 5k onto the total project. MHIs quote was impressively thorough and accurate from the start. They were on time, quick and professional. New roof looks great and their clean up was phenomenal. They respected and protected my plants. I went around afterwards looking for leftover nails and seriously couldnt find any. That is so impressive and makes me happy, as I have animals who go outside. For the value, warranty and service, they are hard to beat. My neighbors had their roof done by them too about 5 years ago and still looks great. Im happy to recommend! For a project this big, could not have gone better.

The inspection went really well. Drew did a great job very friendly, very good communication, explained everything really well, and the timing was spot on. The company seems legit and very organized. But I haven't made my final decision yet if I decide to use MHI I will update this post.
