While the organization can be helpful, at least in my experience, staff such as Carrie Stewart, among others, do not complete tasks in a timely manner nor help with resources for the family like they should, in a timely manner. This organization has funding available to help families in need and yet don’t or act like it’s coming from their pocket directly, especially one particular case worker. If you’re in need, they do not necessarily tear families apart. Their goal is to keep them together. Hopefully, you luck out and get a decent human who works here for the right reason and not being on a power trip

They groom and traffic children with our tax dollars. They violate civil rights and ignore the fact that they have the burden of proof. NEVER let them in your home without a warrant even if you think you have nothing to hide. They feed off children. Children are the commodity. Just like how the Vatican cycles priests who are a "problem", they cycle caseworkers. As soon as they get caught, they fire or change the caseworker and start over. Happens all over PA.

Tried to get help for my abused children. The CYF worker called my children retarded and developmentally deficient. Seems like this place needs to do better background checks on their employees.

I called this number and got no answer at all and I let it rang for 5 minutes, you couldn't help a child in need if their life depended on it...like how does a CPS service not answer

useless! if you DON’T want help for a bad home situation, call CPS! they’re notorious for failing kids. Social workers are self righteous

This agency is overwhelmed and overworked. The turnover rate is so high, they will keep any willing worker on. I have seen this agency abandon children in desperate need of services and do nothing. I have seen them take children they deem "adoptable" from willing and able parents. Serious reform is needed and a children's ombudsman put in place to prevent biased workers from forgetting the programs model.

So putting diaper rash cream on a made to sleep 9 YR OLD girl doesn't creep this office out for potential child abuse. Someone needs to shut this place down. We older woman are bringing down millionaires for just asking to touch. The stepdad is touching these girls and this group does nothing? You ought to be shut down. This is a useless system for law abiding caring parents and seems to cater to potential pedophiles. Shameful just filthy... Close down this useless bunch.

So, apparently, nothing can be done until a baby is born?. Why not step in, prior, when I'm warning that a baby's life is at risk? Especially when a case is alredy with ypu! I appreciate the system on one level, and thank God for it, even sometimes when it makes no sense. CYS, please listen to the cry from a mother to another mother. Stillborn nephew or niece is not acceptable, as I wish she'd be forced to take care of herself while carrying a child.or to be forced to have her rubes tied, because she wants no chdren.and destroys the babyish carries, then cries when the baby is dead. How is this ok? Children get lost in the system over this daily. Women have "the right to choose" and however, I'm reaching out, on behalf of a woman who doesn't have the capability to care for herself, let alone a baby. Drinking, drugs, lying about going to Dr appts, and 2 stillborn babies can't be enough for CYF to step into her life beyond just taking the 2 live babies away? To guide her and help her? So quick to wish a baby away, yet, as far as I know, NOT paying attention to a woman who is in this situation yet again. Shame on you, CYF. You ripped my baby cousins out our loving home to give them back to their drug addicted mother, way back in 1987. And, apparently nothing has changed. Yet, we did eventually win. After the torture if losing g them and fighting your flawed system. I FEARED you for NO REASON. We got the babies back into our care but not without a heaven of a fight. You are TELLING ME there's nothing you can do? After many warnings to her to not get pregnant again as she had preclamcia. What can I do? As you've said there's nothing you can do? I never thought in a million years after the torture of my family being ripped apart, that I'd ever concider needing to call for an actual valid reason . I call bulls*it. I don't know who'll see this and I honestly don't care, since you dont. This baby will fall into the cracks, IF the baby even survives. Thanks for nothong , CYS. Just like my mom hated your system, as do I on some new kind of level.

They removed my boys for accusations of abuse for my boys to run back home after just two weeks and nobody to handle my case or for the law to actually take place

They put the wrong people in jail for doing nothing wrong innocent people in jail so wrong
