Friendly, made great recommendations, and food came out quickly.
I had the Philly Steak Sandwich with chips. Very large portion!
Fresh, flavorful and I’m adding how amazing the bread was. A true Italian roll!

This is a place where customer service is extremely important to the establishment. Food is prepared to order. Cooked with love . Very rare to find a place that gives it that extra special treat. From the staff to the cooks . There a well organized group. They will make sure your food is right . You definitely need to eat here . A place among places! This is a take your time and enjoy your meal Restaurant. Have a conversation, relax and enjoy any of there tasty meals. You will not go wrong . Bon appétit.

My husband and I stopped here for lunch after a quick search of places to eat in the area. We were greeted by a nice hostess and served by a great and friendly waitress. After ordering, the food was brought to us rather quickly. The food was really good and the serving sizes were huge. Great stop for a casual meal.

First time eating here and it was absolutely amazing. The food was fantastic, not one complaint and the service was great. The waitress was very pleasant and helpful with our questions. I would definitely recommend the place and I will be going back.

Pittsburgh style pepperoni pizza is really good if you’re looking for cheesy, extra doughy, greasy pizza! Only thing I’d ask for is the pepperoni to be more crispy! So good!

This is my husband's favorite place for pizza ... so when we were back in the area this was a definite dinner stop for us. Still have great food for decent prices.
The only "bad" thing was it was too hot inside, but it didn't stop us from enjoying the food.

Very good service, even when a little busy. The server (Megan) was really good. And she was busy. Also, gotta give props to one of the cooks (Bryan) outstanding, the guy deserves a raise. But overall, very good service and food. I would recommend eating here everything is really good.

Gateway Grill is ALWAYS a hit! I have never had a bad meal or experience here as the staff is welcoming, the atmosphere is great, and the food is always amazing. There are many selections on the menu from bar food to entrees, so there's something for everyone. There are many TVs throughout the establishment that have sports games on and give a fun feel. Highly recommend.

We came in for a football game last night with about 50 people give or take (various times). Handled the unexpected crowd with ease and waitstaff/service/food wonderful. Thank you very much and highly recommend!!!!

Food was delicious. Server took our order quickly. Didn't take long to receive our meals. Whole family enjoyed. Will def return even we visit Monroeville again.

Stopped in as it was recommended by some locals. I ended up getting my food to go, but they had plenty of seating and TVs. The staff I engaged was friendly and helpful. I ordered wings and they hit the spot! I will definitely be back and will order the wings again, although next time I will get some pizza to go with it.

Food was great! Everything was freshly made. Try the huge cinnamon rolls! Fries fresh cut. Large portions. Waiter was very attentive and kind.

First time at this restaurant. Food was hot, big portions and very good. The deluxe philly cheese steak was melt in your mouth good. The onion rings were spot on. We will definitely eat here again

I have to give this place 5 stars. Recommended by a local for the food and especially the beer. We had to grab a late night dinner and arrived around 9:00 on a Wednesday. The atmosphere is one of a friendly local diner. They are welcoming and know their regulars. Our waitress was super friendly, seated us immediately and discussed the menu with us. I got a Western Burger (cheddar cheese, bacon, mushrooms, and barbecue sauce) and my companions had a small meatball & roasted red pepper calzone and a Spinach & mushroom calzone. My burger was delicious and the meatball calzone was one of the all-time best! We had a look at one of their pizzas too. Wood oven baked and huge! The draft list is extensive as is the list of bottled beer. Both exotic imports and craft beers are available. This is a great place to get beer to go too.

Stop in this afternoon for a late lunch. Sadly, we just missed the Breakfast menu (2 pm cut off). I wish that was an all-day thing. It looked amazing and I'm a breakfast for dinner kinda person.

We were greeted by a happy, and very nice person. Very polite staff. Seated us in the dining area.

Our drink order was taken quickly, and our waitress held her humor when I nearly attacked her asking if they had a Mike's Hard Peach and she said yes! :) She took our drink orders and brought us water very quickly, as well as my drink.

Our food was served very promptly, fresh and hot. Everything delish. Prices were great for the food we got.

I got the THE WORKS BURGER with Sautéed mushrooms, green peppers, onions, and American/Cheddar cheese. Was a truly amazing burger and I'm picky about my burgers. Soooooo, good! The peppers and onions were perfectly cooked. Perfect amount of cheese! The patty itself was still juicy and tender even though I asked for it well done! I

Our waitress was busy but she took the time for questions and they were answered quickly and politely. We were not rushed to order, nor were we rushed to finish our food. She made sure to stop a few times to see if we needed anything and kept out glasses full.

The only thing I'd say is that I did not realize it was a bar/restaurant. We thought "Grill" meant it was just a restaurant. It was that as well, to be clear. There is a beautiful seating area. Nice woodwork and lovely blue seating.

However, if you are going out to have a meeting or want a quiet conversation at your table, that's not likely to happen. The dining room was an echo/amplifying chamber. I couldn't hear anything my companion was saying, but I could hear every word of almost everyone else like they were talking into a megaphone. There weren't really enough folks there it to be as loud as it was. It was so loud, when it was not busy or had a rowdy bunch in there, I left with a headache.

So it's definitely not quiet there, but the food was so amazing if you can tune out that... you won't be disappointed in any way!

Their burgers hit the spot. Homey, comfortable atmosphere. I’m from Westmoreland county, this is a really good place to meet friends from Pittsburgh for lunch

I think the pizza is bigger & better than the vaunted & overrated Caliente pizza. Subs are very good, Salads need work, but edible.
Careful your to go order can get rather pricey.

Great portion size for the price. If you want a place which is quite, go somewhere else. It's more of sports bar kind of feel.

With delicious food surrounding giggles and conversations are complimentary.

Seated 6 of us Sunday night at 9pm as we got out late… service excellent.. food quickly out and delicious. Real nice pricing. Waiter was on point. Recommend
