Always good hard scoop ice cream and friendly staff! Menu is always changing so it’s fun to see what is on it each time you go! Milkshakes are also very good! There is an option for everyone.

Very good shakes and homemade ice cream. Closed during the fall and winter.

We were planning to have some milk shake and saw this place by the side. Decided to explore the local place, I wasn't wrong with my choice. They are made and served with love. They provided samples to help us choose the flavor. We tried a chocolate and vanilla blended milk shake. It was thick and yummy. I ordered a scoop of banana blended with pineapple and nuts. When it was served I was about to ask. I asked only one scoop the quantity was like couple of scoops. I think the price is reasonable for the quality and quantity. I paid 5$ for the milk shake and 3$ for the scoop. I'm okay to pay a little more to support the locally owned and operated place than paying just for the brands. Really good must try.

I came here for dessert one evening and the service was excellent! So were their available fresh ice creams!! I sampled their Oreo ice cream and decided to go for it in a “sundae” style with whipped cream, nuts, and a cherry – It was GREAT!
Highly recommend!! I’ll be back!!!

Antney's is the best ice cream in Pittsburgh, hands down. I know it looks like your standard roadside ice cream stand, but the owners have a constantly revolving menu of some of the most interesting and unique flavors I've ever had, and their decades of commitment to their craft shows in the quality of their product. This place is straight-up one of the best hidden gems of the South Hills/West End area, and it's a must-try if you're ever in the area.

The ice cream is always top notch. Easily the largest variety and best hard ice cream in the city... We drive 25 minutes for their ice cream! Great vegan/dairy free options, too-and I'm not vegan or DF. The lines are long but that's because samples are encouraged so don't be shy when it's your turn! Opening day has become a holiday in our house 🍨

That is the best ice cream I have ever had in town! Antney's Ice Cream is undescribable!!!! They are killing it with flavor, friendly staff and their changing menu. My personal fav is Cookie Monster and Red Velvet. However whatever I tried in there did not dissappoint once! Everthing is so delicious and freshly made!! I can give them 10k stars if I could! They deserve it!! If you read this review this far, please go and try their ice cream, believe me you will not prefer any other place again.

So delicious with so many flavors! Wishing the owners well and hoping they are able to open next season! Really missed their ice cream this summer.I think it's the best Ice cream I've ever had! The ginger cookies Ice cream was my favorite (vanilla ice cream base with biscoff's biscuits).

My favorite ice cream in the city. The flavors are so inventive, they always let you sample as much as you want, in fact they encourage it. They have ice cream (dairy & vegan), frozen yogurt, sorbet, & pup cups. The staff are super friendly and the owners are the sweetest people and recognize the regulars, asking how they are etc. I always default to a bowl of two or 3 mini scoop flavors because it’s too hard to only pick one.

Antney's Ice Cream is my new #1 ice cream of all-time. The perfect texture and taste in a scoop of ice cream I have ever had. It was so good I bought a t-shirt. Will be back for more!

My new favorite ice cream place in all of Pittsburgh! Our first time going & we are hooked. We got a hard ice cream cone (chocolate peanut butter) & a soft serve vanilla chocolate dip cone. The chocolate PB was excellent but the soft serve was the best I ever had. Long line full of happy people, friendly staff & plenty of parking. We are in ❤!

The owners are great and it is the one place I know of in Pittsburgh that caters to those with so many dietary restrictions and gives them real flavorful ice cream/sorbet/frozen yogurt/sugar free/ and non dairy.

My girlfriend said this was a top ice cream joint in the area and I have no reason to argue with that. My peanut butter and cookie dough soft serve was pretty good, even for my second ice cream of the day (don't ask).

I love their sorbets! Pineapple/peach was marvelous. My husband really enjoys the coffee flavor. Great place, great service, always friendly. I can hardly wait for it to get warm again.

After 7 years in Pittsburgh with an avid sweet tooth in the house, we've confidently ended our search for the city's best ice cream! It's at Antneys!

While there are still more places we could try, I'm certain it couldn't surpass the creamy deliciousness that Mr. Antneys has mastered at his local establishment.

The flavors rotate weekly, and they're unique and interesting and most importantly INSANELY DELICIOUS.

Best ice cream I've had, home made creamy taste like no where else and brownies I have in it are so fresh! I'm use to getting stale brownies or crumbled brownies at any other place I'd normally go to. Definitely be coming back!

I thought I have tasted the best ice cream ever..but nope Antney ice cream blows my mind everytime I go. I always have to sample like 5 different flavors. Great customer service!

Ice cream was really good, both my wife and I really enjoyed it. I think the dog ice cream is a bit overpriced for the quantity it is, but the portion size was good for our dog.

Antney's is the BEST ice cream place in Pittsburgh. They always offer something new and yummy. They even offer non-dairy and sugar-free options, as well as doggy dessert made from banana and peanut butter.

Best ice cream I have ever had. Period. I have a sweet tooth and like my desserts so would know. The flavor combinations and constantly rotating menu make every visit unique. My only problem is picking which flavors to get because there are so many good options to choose from.

The owners are amazing and the nicest people you will ever come across. I feel very fortunate to live only a few minutes away and have a hard time ordering ice cream from anywhere else now because nothing even comes close. I recently took my friend there who was visiting from Chicago and he said it was the best ice cream he ever had.

My only recommendation is if there is a flavor you want don't say I'll try it next time because normally the flavors don't last much longer then a day or two due the volume they sell and constantly rotating menu. So I normally ended up taking home a few pints of the flavors I really like so I can have them down the road.
