Brr-Kee's Homemade Ice Cream

Flavors change often. I've come several times and always see something different. I personally love getting the Extreme, which is their version of a DQ blizzard. You can choose what base from any of the available flavors that day and add toppings!! Usually most places do vanilla as the base.

Previously, I got an Extreme with a Butter Pecan base mixed with Oreo and cookie dough pieces. That was unusual and tasty, but I also highly recommend adding their new brownie cookie dough bites! That really adds something extra. Last time, I got an Extreme with vanilla ice cream mixed with Oreo, cookie dough, and brownie dough bites. Definitely yummy. Overall, I definitely keep coming back.

Also it's cash only! But worth it.

Every time I visit family in Oakmont, we make several trips to Brr-Kee's. There are many reasons to love this place. The ice cream flavors are plentiful to choose from and excellent regarding temperature and taste. The sundaes and cones are always very good for the folks liking the normal portion sizes. For the professional ice cream connoisseur, you really should try the large banana split. You can have them swap the usual vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry flavors for any flavor of the day listed. Check out the picture of this bad boy. Takes me back to the tasty freezes of a bye gone era. Also, the fact that they are open year round is a huge bonus as many of us enjoy ice cream in the colder months.

I love that they're open year round and often have new things to try! The teeny baby cone they offered to my son was awesome and so cute as well!

Always a pleasant experience. Staff is courteous. Ice cream is great. Sorbet typically available for non dairy folks.

Great little spot. Very popular but funny let the line share you off. Service is fast, friendly and they serve an authentic banana split that brings back memories! Very reasonably priced! Add this to your special splurge list!

The best of the best ice cream shoppe! Always a different rotation of flavors and specialty, house made sundaes. Remember it’s cash only but absolutely affordable. My favorite flavor that has been available so far is espresso and my favorite sundae is still around the cinnamon caramel brownie.

This place is fantastic. The ice cream is sooooooooo good and prices are decent. I’d highly recommend but bring cash. They don’t take card!

The best. Lots of creative and weird flavors for such a small place. The only downside is that it's extremely popular and can get very busy near close - come early if you can.

This is a nice ice cream stand. The prices are reasonable and the serving size is ample. There are plenty of sundae & shake flavors to choose from. I highly recommend this great establishment.

The variety of ice cream flavors here is always large and always changing. The staff is always friendly and they move at a quick pace. The banana split here is very good as is the Brr-Kee brownie.

The prices are average for an ice cream place but given the area they are very fair.

Parking is easy as the lot is rather large but even if it's full there is plenty of on street parking available

Great home made ice cream. The owner always looks for the best ingredients he can find and it shows in the final result. I travel 35 minutes from my home and it is definitely worth it!!

Best ice cream in the area!

I work at a convenience store that's less than a half a mile away from this place and a wonderful customer brought me one of their homemade milkshakes! It was hands down the best milkshake I have had in my whole life, it's what a milkshake should be you will not be disappointed I can't wait to try out the other things on the menu!

We love this place! The poor kids working closed at 9, and people kept coming. They kept serving with a smile on their faces. We felt so bad for them. But the ice cream can't be beat. My only gripe is, BRING BACK THE DINOSAUR SPRINKLES 🦖🦕😊
