Gidas Flowers

We hired Gidas to provide the florals for our June 2024 wedding and they did an amazing job!!! They were excellent communicators and so easy to work with leading up to the wedding. They really listened to our vision and executed it perfectly. All of the arrangements turned out gorgeous! We can’t thank Gidas enough and would absolutely recommend their services!!!

We chose Gidas Flowers for our June Wedding at the Omni William Penn, Pittsburgh. We had beautiful floral fragments that made the venue look stunning. The floral arrangements at the church ceremony , the bouquets and boutonnières, and the table arrangements at the reception were exactly what we had wanted. Planning was simple and helpful making the process easy and stress free. We are very happy with our final look and recommend Gidas flowers to everyone!

We were so happy with how our wedding flowers turned out! We worked with Laurie and she was so helpful throughout the entire process. We were a little indecisive and she was very patient and provided us suggestions and options to stay within our budget which we really appreciated. We were able to see a sample of our centerpieces before the wedding day which was great to help us visualize how everything would look and led to us making a few tweaks that we are so glad we made! I would highly recommend working with Gidas they are professional, responsive, flexible and do beautiful work!

Book with them!!! We used Gidas Flowers for our wedding and they exceeded our expectations. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous, and turned out exactly like the inspiration photos we sent them. We received so many compliments! We worked with Amy and Laurie throughout the entire process and they were amazing. They were knowledgeable, helpful, and always quick to respond to our emails and calls. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone!

Gidas made us the most beautiful floral arrangements for our wedding. I loved their inclusion of blue accent flowers in my primarily white bouquet for that hint of "something blue." We made changes to our floral order a few months before the wedding which they handled with ease. My bouquet lasted the entire day being taken in and out of water still looking fresh.

I ordered flowers for our daughter's birthday. We do not live near her and decided to order from a local shop near her apartment. We were so happy with the beautiful arrangement from Gidas Flowers. It looked exactly like the picture online and everything was delivered on time. We would definitely use them again!

Gidas Flowers provided the florals for my April 2024 wedding and exceeded my expectations. The centerpieces at the reception were truly stunning and even more impressive than I imagined. My bridal bouquet in particular also exceeded expectations. It was beautiful and cascading. In addition to the flowers being perfect, the team was also very helpful. I knew nothing about flowers and they helped me make selections that would work well in the space and make the most of my budget. I knew I wanted white flowers, but my bridesmaids' dresses were also purple, so they suggested adding a slightly purple filler type plant. It was such a perfect touch having that attention to detail. Also, they helped me by suggesting blooms that would have the most impact but weren't always the most expensive where applicable. Essentially, they helped guide me to really make the best choices to make the most of my budget. They also were prepared with a nice sheet/ questionnaire about which flowers I'd need (altar arrangements, parent / grandparent, etc) so I did not have to worry about forgetting things. They were very easy to work with, as after our initial meeting I did change my mind and want to add a few more things. I will always remember seeing my reception room for the first time and being floored by the gorgeous centerpieces.

Gidas was amazing to work with through the entire planning process and on the day of the event. We had to postpone our large wedding due to COVID and ended up having a small wedding followed by a reception the following year. Laurie was so great through both events and captured my vision perfectly. Laurie and the entire team was wonderful to work with from the initial meeting through both events - great communication, responsive, they went above and beyond! The flowers were so soo beautiful. We can’t thank Gidas enough for their amazing work!

Now living out of town, but knew that Gidas would provide excellent service. They did not disappoint. 2 years in a row have delivered a beautiful arrangement and box of delicious cereus chocolate to the recipient, who loved both.

I worked with Gidas Flowers for a COVID postponed wedding that took place in early August 2021. Laurie and the team were amazing to work with from day one. From an initial consultation where she gave me a great amount of information, education on florals/greenery, and options to work within our budget. They were very responsive and provided great communication throughout the wedding planning process. From delivery of personal bouquets and boutonnieres to the hotel, to centerpieces, cake flowers, and accent arrangements, everything was flawless!

When looking for a florist for our wedding, we wanted to find someone who was going to offer a more personalized experience. Laurie was very helpful throughout the whole planning process and gave recommendations on what would look the best. She was very easy to work with and the flowers for our wedding turned out beautifully! My husband and I highly recommend Gidas Flowers for any and all occasion!

Helped my daughter's boyfriend send a Valentine's Day bouquet, balloons and teddy bear the day before Valentine's Day. Was not sure they could fulfill the order, but it was not an issue at all. I even had to call because something I wanted wasn't in the drop down menu. I was told to write what I wanted in the "special instructions" section. When my daughter received her bouquet, it was stunning, what was desired was there, and it arrived early enough in the day for her to enjoy the entire Valentine's Day. Thank you for making her day!

Wife worked in Oakland short time ago and while waiting to meet her for lunch I discovered Gidas. I never bought flowers from a florist previously to that day but decided to have flowers for her when she arrived. Roses is what I chose and price was right in line for what I received. Roses were perfect and she keep them on her desk at work and they lasted much longer then she expected which also promoted a lot of attention from the other ladies that worked in her department. Since then she has been getting flowers from Gidas regularly for any special occasion and for a bit more I always get them delivered it is worth the surprise value when she receives them.

I can't say enough good things about Gidas! They did the flowers for our wedding in October and did an amazing job. They were extremely responsive, helpful in figuring out exactly what we wanted, and did an amazing job. My bouquet was so beautiful and it was exactly what I wanted.
