Allegheny Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

One day after sedated extraction and I couldn't be more pleased. Allegheny Oral in Mt. Lebanon was able to fit me in within one day of my call. The doctor I had last year didn't have any openings so I was scheduled with Dr. Dalton and I'm glad I did! Everyone at the office put me at ease and I didn't feel any of my usual anxiety. From Cheryl at scheduling to the anesthesiologist to Dr. Dalton to Regina in recovery -- everyone was wonderful. I will sing their praises to anyone that will listen. Just hoping this extraction site heals as cleanly as last time. Thank you Allegheny Oral!

I had a tough imbedded tooth to pull and was luckily given DMD Scott Godwin as the person to tackle the job. He was entirely professional throughout the process but consistently maintained a likable personality which greatly helped reduce the lingering tension. From start to finish DMD Godwin explained each step of the highly specialized surgical procedure and further advised specifically what techniques were about to be utilized as they were being initiated. This eliminated any anxiety or fears I had anticipated as the procedure continued. And in the end the results were that of complete satisfaction. Furthermore the staff assisting in the procedure were equally professional and supportive to my surgical procedures. And finally the post operative person provided easy to understand instructions to the conclusion of what many consider to be a negative experience. I highly recommend Allegheny Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery for your specific dental issues.

Dr. Godwin was awesome. I needed to have a large molar extracted. He explained everything to me in detail. He made me feel comfortable, he was kind and caring. I am not in any pain at all. No one WANTS to go to an oral surgeon, but if you have to I highly recommend Allegheny Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. Everything is explained to me clearly, from procedure to pricing. I had a concern after a procedure and the on call Doc got back to me right away and eased my fears. My healing has gone exactly as they predicted with zero complications. What more can you ask for?

Dr. Cillo & staff are awesome. They were exceptionally reassuring, very much on time, excellent communications with each other. I felt so comfortable & not nervous. I had time for any ?, it was a very positive experience.

I went in to get my wisdom teeth removed. I had other surgeons tell me it'd be too hard to remove them due to how close the nerve was. I met Dr. Cillo and he ensured me he could handle everything. It’s been two days now after surgery. Ive had zero pain the entire time, zero swelling, no nausea or dry socket, only super minor soreness from having them taken out. I was deathly afraid of getting them out. But honestly this was so perfectly done i cant help but leave a review. If you or your kids need your wisdom teeth taken out. See Dr. Cillo. I can promise you that it will be some masterful work. P.S. swallow using your tongue so you don't stress the sockets.

I had 2 teeth extracted today and I didn’t know what to expect since I had never experienced it before. I had nothing to be concerned about. From the moment I entered the office everyone was gracious and helpful.
Tina, the dental assistant gave me a complete idea of what to expect and I felt calm and relaxed. She was excellent as she assisted Dr.Barbosa.
Dr.Barbosa was very skilled and personable. He also kept me advised before any part of the procedure.
I couldn’t be happier with Allegheny Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery! I’m so glad my dentist referred me to the practice.

The experience was very pleasant. Dr Barbosa went over all of the details of my case, and gave me all the information I needed to make a good decision for my treatment I would have no problem going to him if I ever need this kind of treatment in the future.

Dr barbosa and the whole crew were very nice and kept me relaxed. This was my first extraction. I was informed about everything that was happening and had no pain. And have had no pain or discomfort since. I am very happy with the experience.

After reading a few negative reviews about the scheduling staff being rude, I was hesitant to give this office a try. While I do agree that the scheduler is not the most jolly human being ever (not even in the slightest 😬), she was thorough with what needed done prior to my appointment. The rest of the staff are phenomenal. 👏🏻P-H-E-N-O-M-E-N-A-L👏🏻 Dental assistant, an absolute delight! She answered all of my questions. The discharge staff at the end of my visit, super sweet. Dr. Dalton is very personable and explains everything in laymen's terms so that there's an impossibility of miscommunication. Everything is explained, no surprises. I did appreciate Dr. Dalton's guided breathing exercises while he yanked my nemesis tooth out of my life. Definitely recommend the Mt. Lebanon office and Dr. Dalton's team. They even gave me a few cards of general dentists who they recommend

Dr Dalton and his staff are amazing! From our first visit to my daughter’s wisdom teeth surgery, he kept us informed and walked us through everything that would happen pre surgery, during surgery and what to expect after. My daughter thought all her nurses and the anesthesiologist were wonderful. Additionally the nurse who took care of my daughter after her surgery was so kind and sweet. She made my daughter so comfortable and provided very detailed after care instructions. We definitely recommend Dr Dalton and his staff.

Dr Dalton and his staff are fantastic. Dr Dalton is extremely professional. From the consultation visit to when it came to have my sons wisdom teeth removed, Dr Dalton personally talked to us before he started and twice after. He put us at ease right from the start.

Regina is great as well. She took great care of my son in recovery and did a great job of explaining everything for post care.

My appointment was scheduled at 10am and that’s when I was seen! All of the staff is wonderful from the moment you walk in right thru the procedure you are there for. I highly recommend this place! Dr Barbosa and his assistants put my implants in and I could not be more pleased with the results!
