We had a small wedding this winter and wanted to highlight my son’s fiancé’s Chinese culture. . Ashley & her team at Blumengarten did a beautiful job combining both cultures into beautiful flower arrangements. They were very helpful with great suggestions regarding bouquets, traditional Chinese colors etc. It was so easy, fun reasonably priced and looked beautiful.

We used this florist for our wedding. We ordered bridal and bridesmaid bouquets, boutonnieres, and bulk flowers for table decor. They provided gorgeous florals that fit our budget. I picked up our flowers the day before our wedding, and I was able to keep them alive and well until the wedding day at my home thanks to their care in packaging and preparing them. The bouquets were absolutely beautiful and I am so pleased with how they turned out. I definitely recommend for brides on a budget.

Blumengarten has always been my go to for funeral arrangements for family and friends. I ordered flowers for my ex mother in laws funeral and they were absolutely gorgeous and even more than I had expected. Very easy to order online and I specified colors that I wanted. I have never been disappointed. I would also like to say that the card was hand written which made it seem more personal than the other flowers. I highly recommend them!

Everyone is so nice at this flower shop. I live out of state now and my godfather passed away in the Penn Hills area. I called and spoke with Ashley and told her I really wanted a peace Lilly and a ribbon that said Army Veteran on it. My god brother sent me a picture of it once he saw it at the funeral home and it is one of the most beautiful peace Lilly's I have ever seen. It was worth the money and they got it there early on a Saturday for me! I am so impressed and happy with this purchase and the wonderful customer service! Thanks so much!

I live out of town, so I jumped online to find a highly rated florist to send an arrangement to my best friend for her 50th birthday. The website gave the option to choose “Designers Choice”, and I gave a few notes as to my color preferences. The largest and most magnificent arrangement was delivered to my friend, and we are actually giddy about its size and beauty. She is thrilled which means I am thrilled! She was not previously familiar with this florist but said she’s going to keep their contact info for the future.

After my mother died last month, I wanted to send her best friend some flowers. I found Jim Ludwig's Blumengarten Florist on Google. Not only could they send the flowers the same day, but, they also have specials which are based on what is in season. When I sent the flowers to my mom's friend, she said the bouquet reminded her of her friendship with my mom! It was beautiful! <3
They also offer additions of local chocolate, which I also added.

Sherry was wonderful to work with. I had no clear direction for my wedding flowers and she still somehow delivered exactly what I had imagined but didn’t know how to describe. My flower crown was one of my favorite parts of my day, cannot recommend Blumengarten for wedding florals enough!

I stopped in yesterday after work to get a bouquet of flowers for my 2nd anniversary. They made up a gorgeous arrangement (as usual). This is the only place in Pittsburgh you should be getting your flowers.

Jim Ludwig's Blumengarten did the florals for my wedding on 0/24/22. The florals came out so beautiful. They matched our bridesmaid's dresses perfectly and looked as if they were picked straight from Phipp's beautiful displays. Sherry was such a pleasure to work with. She was very responsive and made any changes/answered any questions I had along the way. So happy with everything Blumengarten did!

I can not even begin to explain how wonderful Jim Ludwig's Blumengarten was for my 11/25/17 wedding!! In the very early stages of planning my wedding, I had an extremely unpleasant initial consultation with a different local florist that left me quite discouraged about my wedding flowers. But after reading positive reviews of Jim Ludwig's, I decided to make an appointment with them. From the moment I sat down with Bob to discuss my wedding vision and my budget, he totally understood my style and the look I was going for, he intently listened to all of my requests (I was extremely particular!), he was so sweet and kindhearted, and he was extremely creative and professional. He was able to answer every single question I had about my wedding flowers and was even able to give me excellent suggestions of how we could stay within my budget but also maintain the "look" I wanted for my wedding flowers. Bob even gave me and my mom a tour of their facility - we were so excited to see their huge walk-in refrigerator with hundreds and hundreds of the most beautiful flowers inside! I left our initial consultation with Bob feeling so confident that my flowers would be beautiful and within my budget (they actually came in below my budget which was awesome!!), and that Jim Ludwig's would take great care of me. Bob and the entire staff at Jim Ludwig's answered every one of my calls and emails promptly and with such kindness - they really went the extra mile during my wedding planning to make sure I had zero concerns about my flowers. Bob even did a mockup of my reception centerpieces a few months before our wedding so that I could see exactly what our centerpieces would look like. For my wedding, they did my bridal bouquet, bridesmaids' bouquets, flower girl bouquets, boutonnieres, ceremony arrangements, reception centerpieces, and other reception arrangements - all of the florals were absolutely beautiful and were exactly what I wanted. I didn't think it was possible to have such beautiful flowers with my budget, but that's exactly what Jim Ludwig's Blumengarten delivered. I whole-heartedly recommend Jim Ludwig's and will be sure to go to them with all of my future flower needs!

Can not thank you for making the beautiful arrangement that I had sent to my family to welcome our new baby. I selected the Designers Choice, what a gorgeous display. I can not thank you enough for the Bells of Ireland and it brought us happy memories of my parents.

I needed to order flowers for my sisters graduation at UPitt as I am in New York, and they excuted my vision perfectly. She was overjoyed to receive them at her hotel before graduation. Everything was perfect!

Sherry and her team at Blumengarten were so great to work with for my wedding. Overall I loved how flexible they were. They were very willing to work within my budget which I really appreciated. They were also able to provide me with a larger variety and more interesting flowers compared to a different quote I received. I was also able to provide my own bud vases for some of the centerpieces which was very convenient. After I starting getting RSVPs I realized I would need less centerpieces than planned and Blumengarten was able to repurpose those flowers into general reception area decor which I loved. Sherry really understood the look I was going for with all of the florals. Not knowing much about flowers, I loved the mix she suggested. Lastly they were extremely accommodating when I had to change my wedding date due to COVID. I would highly recommend Blumengarten!

David at Blumengarten is the best. We provide color schemes and place settings and he always creates the most beautiful arrangements. The flowers brighten the room while also giving a sophisticated feel for our corporate dinners.

The fruit basket that I received is so much better than the picture. The fruit is also very fresh. Will definitely reorder and let everyone know about the great service.

Ordered flowers two days prior to my father's memorial service. The staff were professional and courteous. They were able to incorporate a special request into the arrangements and the owner even came out to help with the arrangement prior to the visitation. Excellent service and beautiful arrangements!
