I love pierogies and go on the hunt for them while traveling. I was able to get not only pierogi but a cabbage roll and haluski, too. Their potato and cheese pierogi are simply the best. Great tiramisu, too. Wish I didn't live across the country...I'd eat here every day!

Great friendly service and delicious pierogies! Saurkraut pierogies rock! Tried the pulled pork ones as well and weren't to bad. Can't go wrong with the blueberry pierogies either.

Always the best pierogies in Pittsburgh.

(Getting a little pricey, and although that's not uncommon these days, it shouldn't cost $98 to feed pierogies to a family of 5 from a takeout place.)

10 gold stars!!! Dont tell my grandma. THIS is how perogies are supposed to be made, and taste, and the consistency, and texture. YUM!!

These perogies have a thinner dough than several Ive had in western/greater PGH - to me, but THIS is the right way. They're not supposed to be stuffed halushki!

I got 6-hot beef/mushroom, which to me is non traditional, since they were a food for Lent.... but they were SOOO good (and, it's July! Ha!)

I also got 6-hot traditional potato / cheese, which was exactly what I was expecting, not thin/runny on the inside, right amount if flavor, not too salty.

I also (!!) got 6-hot cottage cheese - what a delight. Ha, I want to put some apricot jam on them!

I did get a side of saurkraut... and to be fair my mind was hoping for an opened/heated can if kraut (hahaha!).... so I was not a fan of the red sauced kraut.

For the record, I could have, but, did not try eating them all in one sitting!

I am definitely going back. Save me a t-shirt!!!

Incredible food and such nice people! Stopped here while passing through Pittsburgh and couldn’t be happier. We’ll definitely have to come back.

Very good food. Outside seating. Only bad, couldn't sub jalapeños in pierogies with one of the meals unless you wanted to pay $5 upcharge.

This place does not serve the pierogies fried. I would suggest taking them home and frying them or buying them Frozen and frying them. It makes a huge difference. I wasn't impressed when I tried them the way they serve them without frying them.. but when I took them home and fried them they were absolutely amazing. These pierogies are so soft, the texture of the dough and the filling are both so soft and light. I got the jalapeno cheese ones and they had a great flavor. We tried numerous places from Pittsburgh's top 10 pierogi list and this place and Dorothy 6 were by far the best.

I love the food here. It is not instant service, but they do heat and prepare your food fresh when you order. They also sell frozen pierogies and items for you to cook at home.

The only place I get my pierogi 🥟 from, they are truly the best the cottage cheese ones are my absolute favorite. I highly recommend Forgotten Taste, very friendly workers as well.

Outstanding perogies and smoked keilbasa. Fast and friendly service. Cabbage rolls, saurkraut and haluski too. Takeout mostly, a few small tables outside. Near PIT, stop by on your way to or from the airport.

Eat from here (take out only, but worth it!). Seriously, even with the bad lighting from my hotel in the picture, the pierogies were the most amazing things I have ever eaten. They are now my standard to which I measure (and judge) all other pierogies.

Love everything about this place. FT has been a part of our family dinners and gatherings for over 10 years. Their perogies are so close to ones we grew up on. The people are awesome as well. They can fill any order!

Excellent food and always good and satisfying but still not like I would get from church back in the days. Recommended trying and it is the best I can find in our area.

Take out only - no place to sit but we are in our car they were that good! We landed in Pittsburg and were told we HAD to try these and we’re not disappointed! If it’s your first time, get the #9 meatballs and gravy over potato and cheese pierogies! Their English is a bit broken but another customer steered my the right way and I couldn’t be more thankful!

Hungry for some delicious comfort food? Forgotten Taste Pierogi is the place to ease that craving. This little spot is not a place to plan to eat, though , as it is not a restaurant. I think the one in Moon twp. Is the satellite store , but it does have a couple of outdoor tables on the sidewalk. Get your food frozen for later or hot and fresh to take home and enjoy. They have tons of options for their dinners or get extra single servings!

I was blown away by this place! We don't have pierogies in Indianapolis. Must try for anyone not from the area. It's close to the airport. The kielbasa was great too. Authentic Polish classic dish. I will go here everytime I go to Pittsburgh
