Big Ragoo Pizzeria

My family ordered here recently, and we really enjoyed the pizza. It was super fresh, done well—but not too dark on the bottom, and had an overall great taste. They are generous with their toppings, and service was on-time. We hope to try more items off of the menu soon.

Tried for the first time tonight and definitely a fan! We will be ordering more often from this place!

Delicious local pizza place. I need to try other items from their menu other than the pizza and wings but they’re both so good, I haven’t gotten anything else.

If you were to read my reviews you'd know I love salads I have never had a salad made like this before chicken, onion rings,fries ,and some very good cheese I don't like tomatoes but I ate them this salad is serious! The cheese steak was good but this salad is worth the money and a long wait(even though there only took 36minutes to bring my order) Big Ragoo Baby!

An impressively good pizza from a small shop out in the surrounding Pittsburgh Neighborhoods. Getting there was a bit unusual, as it's not my usual path around the city. Though when I got there, I could tell I was in for a good time. Just a counter and a kitchen, and all the food we ordered.

The traditional crust pizza was excellent. While it has stiff competition from other places, it definitely pulls its weight. I felt less so from the Sicillian / Detroit style pizza they served, though it was still good. Both also were quite well sized.

A unique addition to the menu is the offering of a Deep Dish pizza. Rare in the Pittsburgh area, I had to try, and I can say it did not disappoint! It's its own item in one size, and can feed one or two. From what I've seen its not perfectly authentic to Chicago Style Deep Dish, but it's very close, and it's VERY GOOD. A total win, and I'll definitely be back to try them again!

Burgers are fyyyyya better than 5 guys any day and the fries remind me of childhood memories at Kennywood they nailed it again another happy couple 😘

First time visit. Ordered a large, three topping pizza. Absolutely incredible! Very delicious pizza. Must have weighed 5 pounds! Went 6 miles out of our way to try their food. Can't wait to try their hoagies, cold subs, burgers and fries. Already told my sister about this place. Happy to be a new customer.

Service and food were both GREAT! We had the steak roll, and a grilled chicken salad. Steak roll was hot, fresh, and cooked perfectly. The chicken salad was super fresh, and huge. You definitely get your money's worth, and we will definitely return there again!

Just had my first slice of Big Ragoo pizza. It was great!!! Mad love. Sauce is sweet and a little tangy, good cheese consistency, just the right amount of grease, thinner soft dough, and crispy crust. Highly recommend. Can't wait for my next slice. Keep up the good work.

The pizza is really, really good! The homemade meals are even better! The staff is friendly in the shop. The delivery drivers are always fast and courteous. You can't go wrong with anything you order, it's all tasty.

Big Ragoo is an excellent restaurant with a excellent selection of high quality, great tasting pizza, gyros, hoagies, sandwiches, burgers, chicken wings, salads, and dinner items. The pizzas are equivalent in quality and taste to New York City pizza not national franchise garbage. The wedding soup is absolutely amazing. It is not canned soup but home made with high quality ingredients. The prices are great. The restaurant is spotless. I’d give this place 10 stars if I could to reflect the quality and value. Customer service is always excellent. Highly recommend this great West Mifflin restaurant.

Came here while on visiting the area. I was raised in the area, but am stationed in California. Big Ragoo got me the taste of the old school Chiodo mystery sandwich that I hadn’t had in years. My kids loved her pizza and the sandwiches.

This will be a must stop for us during our visit next year also.

I don’t know how these people who state the food is terrible are basing their opinions on, we had 3 different sandwiches and a pizza. All were outstanding.

While reading the reviews, one person completely butchered The Chiodo name( I don’t think he’s old enough to remember Chiodos to begin with) another complained about the pineapple not being fresh. To her I want to know if she has found a pizza place that uses fresh pineapple, in my opinion, not enough people order it to justify the owner spending the time to cut fresh pineapple( not an easy chore) ( nor is it cost effective with the spoilage/waste).

Super good food, huge portions! I thought I was gonna get a handful of wings, but I literally got a massive clamshell, and the salads were huge! The Gyro was absolutely amazing, will definitely be getting another one soon! And it was all made and ready super fast, thanks guys!!!

The big ragoo is the real deal!! The portions are big and the food is always incredible. We have ordered from here several times and are always blown away by how good the food is. If you’re looking for quality home cooked food this is the place to go!

LOVE everything ever had from The Big Ragoo! Pizza, burgers, fish sandwich, steak hoagie, salads. Her homemade spaghetti and lasagne dinners are FANTASTIC!! It's not only about the GREAT food...it's how she cares about her customers and community that shows what a GREAT person she is...definitely deserves more than 5 stars!

Big Ragoo is always top- notch grub.Picked up a variety of their creations tonight and like always, everything was delicious! These folks actually care about the quality of their food and service.

My kids & I love everything from the pizza to the salads! My personal favorite is the fish sandwich. Employees are really nice too that’s always an added bonus!
