🍦 Freaking obsesssssseddd with this all vegan ice cream shop!🍨 We aren’t local but when in the area, Sugar Spell was on our TOP things to do after hearing so much hype online. It lived up and BEYOND! Super cute & adorable ice cream shop. Loved the vibes & decor! The woman & man working were super kind. Love that they hand-make ALL of their ice cream flavors. You can get scoops of just the ice cream or get one of their famous sundaes. Vegan sundaes you say? YES PLEASE! We got the spring themed sundae they were offering which was delicious peanut butter & vanilla icecream with peanut butter drizzle, peanut butter cookie bites, home made whipped cream- it was SO good.

I’ve had a LOT of vegan ice cream in my life but Sugar Spells is the best I’ve had. It’s SO creamy. They have so many FUN flavors. And making vegan sundaes? Even more special.

Tasty, gluten, free, ice cream options. Try a float. They are huge, Amanda has a Great shop going only open weekends to plan ahead. The pints are super frozen but if you drive from a distance away, bring a cooler and ice and buy a couple take them home treat yourselves. got some thing with cinnamon something with peanut butter or something with mint chocolate oatmeal chocolate.

Our new ice cream spot. IMO you can’t even tell the ice cream is vegan - it’s really really good! We had the blue moon and coffee & cookies. Both were delicious.

Best vegan ice cream shop! My wife had the mocha chip and I had the gingerbread. They always have specials and new flavors.

Incredible vegan ice cream! Got a sundae and chatted with everyone there! Very lucky we looked the place up on Sunday when they were open, but highly recommend stopping by whether you’re vegan or not, I promise you will not be able to tell!

Happy place with some of the finest frozen treats you will find anywhere! For those who have never tried vegan ice cream, don't hesitate, because this stuff is truly amazing!

We stopped here on a road trip and were so glad we did! I got the chocolate peanut butter sundae and it was incredible! Their flavors and toppings were top notch and the staff was so kind and friendly! A must visit for sure!

Great place, staff and food. I definitely recommend stopping by for a spell. I had the PB Brownie and it was exactly what I was thinking, though it was very rich I appreciate the quality, reminds me of a good fudge but in form of ice cream. I samples some Mint Chip and it was delicious along with the Birthday Cake!

Holy... this place is amazing!! I think this is the only 100% vegan ice cream parlor I’ve ever been to. So cool to be able to have that nostalgic experience again! The staff are super helpful and friendly (it was hard to make a decision but the guy behind the counter was patient and gave us great recommendations)!

The taste of the ice cream.... out of this world. It’s been ten years since I’ve had dairy ice cream but as far as I remember, this is even better. SO CREAMY. And such unique flavors! We couldn’t help but get all four in two different sundaes. Couldn’t decide which flavor was the tastiest!

They also sell awesome merch. I can’t wait to come back here. Happy one-year, and long live Sugar Spell!

We drove across town to check this vegan ice cream out. It does not disappoint!! So tasty. I’m vegan, but even my non-vegan husband was wowed. Just go, trust me 🍦😋

I got the strawberry shortcake Sunday. It was gluten free and dairy free. It was amazing. The best dairy free ice cream I've ever had. Was smooth and creamy. Might have been better than normal ice cream. The strawberry didn't have that take bubble gum strawberry flavor that some ice cream does.

They deserve every once of business they can get. Was amazing.

Amazing! The best vegan ice cream I have ever had hands down. The texture is spot on to non vegan ice cream. The flavors are so good! I highly recommend!

This is the best vegan ice cream I have ever had! The texture is really insane, most vegan ice cream feels like frozen almond / coconut / cashew milk and this is much closer to real ice cream / cookie-dough. The flavors they had were all off the chain! Their merch is actually cool and can be worn by a degenerate hipster like me.

I am a huge fan of patronizing local / non-chain businesses and as a vegan this is a win-win for me. I can't wait to go back and enjoy this as a treat for as long as I am in the steel city!

Tried it out for the first time today. We just had the ice cream scoops. The ice cream tasted great, and this is from non-vegans as all the food is vegan.

The staff was friendly and plenty of street parking was available (it is metered during some hours of the day, a quarter for 30 minutes, as of this review)

The ice cream seems expensive, but it is really filling. One scoop felt about about the same as eating 2-3 scoops. I would recommend starting with one scoop for your first time there just to see how full you get as it may vary by person. I could not finish my 2 scoops. They have half-scoop sizes, too.

The flavors we tried were all great and they have samples. They apparently have 4 flavors available daily, with other flavors in take-home containers in a freezer. The ice cream texture is about halfway between soft serve and cookie dough. It is smooth, but has some weight and give to it. We liked the texture. Loved the magic sprinkles on top. Ended up taking a matcha white chocolate almond pint home with us.

Edit: just tried the matcha white chocolate almond pint. Tastes like matcha Macaroons.

This is one of my favorite businesses in Sharpsburg. They're so creative and artsy, and the place is a joy to visit. The ice cream is delicious and always generously filled with candies and confections. I love their Instagram account photos too; I can't possibly try all the flavors, so it is nice to be able to see all the new flavor names and creations.

Best ice cream in Pittsburgh, vegan or otherwise. Plus it's made by some really rad people! Follow on Instagram and track all their delicious traditional and offbeat flavors! I highly recommend the Dunkaroos and anything Peanut Butter based.

Best vegan ice cream I’ve ever had. The base is cashew and naturally gives the ice cream a distinctly cashew-tinged undertone in flavor compared to dairy ice cream, but it tastes really nice! I got the Dream Girl pint and it was super dreamy and creamy.
