We just had a wood burning stove installed. They also did some fantastic stone work to accentuate the fireplace. Beautiful work and attention to detail. From the folks who originally came to perform the measurements and give the estimate to the gentlemen who performed the work everyone was very professional, courteous and conscientious during this time.

As a few reviewers had mentioned if you need it "now" and are intolerant of "delayed" response times then possibly this may not be the place for you. However, if you can plan this out I think Howell Craft does superb work, carries excellent products, offers fair pricing and executes their craft at the highest level. Good things come to those who wait ;-)

They can help with all residential and small commercial stone needs, but their attention to memorials is especially caring.

Although the owners are very cordial and helpful they are also extremely not dependable. Have made numerous attempts at having them install an insert. And would never show up much less even give an estimate. Even gone as far as going to store the day that they were supposed to show up and denied ever making the appointment. Although they are quick to sell you anything you want. Bought a zero clearance buck stove recommended by them and it’s not been a pleasant experience with this stove. My third Buck stove and this will be the last. Do not buy any ZC models from Buck not worth the hassle of trying to keep a fire burning and yes it’s installed correctly according to the directions and advice from a different dealer and installer that would actually show up.

We were at the store about a month ago to look at gas logs. The lady there said someone would call us to set up an appointment to come to our home and take a look at our fireplace. Well ....... It never happened. Very unprofessional and negligent on their part. We ended buying the gas logs from a wholesaler on the internet. The model was RHPeterson Evergreen with a 52 burner. The vendor was Hansen Wholesale. If you need to.buy gas logs check out this vendor on the internet. They are very professional and helpful and cheaper than Howell Craft.

Tried to get an estimate for two months. In that time my info was lost twice and then was told they couldn't even come to look. Very disappointed
