I can see why folks rave about this place! Friendly atmosphere upon entering; everyone greets you with a hello and our toddler was rewarded a small bag of cheese to eat during our wait- which was not long. We ordered a pepperoni and mushroom pizza plus a slice to go. The pizza crust is absolutely incredible- buttery and somehow soft and crunchy at the same time. My family cannot stop talking about how good this pizza is. We will certainly return again soon!

This place is different but I like different. The crust was crunchy heaven. You order and pay, but then you must tell a pizza assembly person your exact toppings again. Different, but I didn't mind. Sauce was plain. I would have preferred to taste garlic and oregano and the sausage to be spicier, but I still enjoyed it. Next time, I will get it uncooked and jazz it up at home. I am still thinking about that delicious crust though.

This is one of those "diamond in the rough" type of places. It's not pretty to look at, but the quality product that comes out is exactly what the flavor experience is supposed to be like. I'm not happy that you have to order 12 to get it unbaked, but it's cool that they still have it as an option. The toppings they offer are pretty awesome, I was surprised to see bacon! They told me to leave in 5 minutes to pick up my order and when I got there, I waited at least 20 minutes; seemed silly to me. This place is typically busy, so if it looks slow, hit them up while you can!

Police Station Pizza-aka: Pizza House, is local-gem type establishment in Ambridge, known for selling slices of Sicilian Pizza.

On a weekend, you had better get there early bc they only make so much dough, and once they run out, they close for the night. When I was there last time on a Saturday, they started turning away new orders around 7:15pm.

The prices are very reasonable and I am posting the current menu as of 9-18-2022.

The pizza has a nostalgic taste, an old school homey type feel to it. It’s definitely good stuff.

The cheese is mozzarella, which they bake some on and sprinkle some uncooked on top.

The sauce is slightly tart, but perfectly seasoned, and reminds me of a San Marzano/Jersey Mikes sauce type feel. It’s far better than said canned sauce however.

The dough is slightly crispy on the bottom and crust, yet light and fluffy on the inside. Very well done and easy to bite in to. Not oily or buttery at all.

They are generous with the toppings. The pepperoni and sausage was a good choice. The mushrooms, although canned, are of good quality, and I would get them again.

There is a great sauce/cheese/dough ratio. If you feel it’s overly cheesy, you can easily take the cold cheese off.

If you’re in the area, and looking for very reasonably priced, good Sicilian pizza...... I’d highly recommend you find time to stop here. This is hands down better than many of the hipster joints popping up in the Pittsburgh area selling Detroit or Sicilian pizzas.

First time visit, several family members have spoken highly of the pizza. I drove 45 minutes and was not disappointed. Will make the drive again.

This is the award winning pizza of Pittsburgh! I now live in Ohio and crave this gastronomical beauty ever since I left Pittsburgh in 2012. I have not ordered by mail yet bc I look for any excuse to come home, but I was asking (begging) for years and it is available through mail , 😊 I have turned multiple ppl on to this pizza (father in law, friend's, doctors, anybody who listens. It is a Sicilian thicker crust pizza and they put the toppings on cold. Ask to cook if needed. Family owned and old world. 10/10😊

Excellent pizza love the way that people worked in I also like the idea that there was no tip box that gives them a lot of credibility I would definitely go back for a return trip excellent

Probably the best slice you'll get in the valley. In and out in less than 5 minutes. Would recommend.

This style pizza may not be for everyone but it's worth getting periodically. Ask for extra cheese when it's fresh and allow it to melt on the way home before digging in. Atmosphere ordering on a busy day is almost like an auction house which again, may not be for everyone but worth experiencing.

So good. Everyone in town calls it Police Station Pizza (I think because it's in an old police station building/location, not sure.) Definitely get unmelted cheese on top. It sounds weird, but it's delicious. Leave the box lid shut and it's perfectly slightly melted when you get home.

It's awesome thick rectangular cut pizza available by the slice, topped immediately and ready to go. Ideal for covid, because it's fast fresh takeout usually with no wait even though it's popular.

Love the chaos of this place. Standing room only. No numbers, no names. You just bark out your order from the back among a sea of patrons around you and eventually you get some amazing authentic Ohio valley pizza. Thick square dough with a mound of beautiful cheese, adorned with half inch thick slices of pepperoni that seem like they were cut by hand. It's so quaint yet clinical. Worth the 40 minute drive from the city.

Best pizza around! Actually, the best that I've ever had. They make their pizza sauce homemade each day. You won't go wrong.

We order every week and bake it at home. Staff remembers our name when we call in and always take care of us! Pizza is great rather they cook it or you get unbaked and cook at home. Always a consistent taste.
