Colangelo's Pizza

Phew this pizza goes HARD AS HELL. It's like...just perfect. $4.50 for a great warm slice as you walk around the strip. Divine red sauce, crust that's light and cracks a tiny bit in your mouth, and this crazy melted cheese sensation. Super highly recommend going here ASAP.

This is mainly a takeaway counter with a small outside area, possible only on good weather.

The REAL TREASURES ARE THE BAKED SAVORIES AND DOLCES.

- The Torta Rustica, both the vegetarian and meat🤩🤩🤩, is as Italian as it gets. They bring fond memories of Napoli and Southern Italy.

- The Sfogliatella is on the spot of its Santa Rosa origin 🤩🤩🤩. The laminations are very well executed, and the creamy filling has very muted sweetness, the two measures of mastery of a culinary craft of this very iconic Italian dolce. —- simply WOW.

- Their Cannoli, chocolate and orange pistachio, are classic Sicilian 🤩🤩🤩. Crispy tubes, crunchy choc chips and pistachio all married together with the silken creamy filling of very muted sweetness👏👏👏👏

Absolutely amazing! Closest sandwich since Italy! Muffaletta panini, wedding soup and caramelized onion and gorgonzola pizza. Everything was super fresh and flavorful!

Amazing cannoli! We went back after a year and the cannoli was as delicious as I remembered it. We didn’t get the pizza or bread this time but I have had it in the past and it was pretty good. They have some small tables outside and a coffee shop so you can sit and enjoy a treat when the weather is nice

We come here for the pizza but after seeing everyone’s food today we might have to start ordering off the menu! Everything looks delicious! Love sitting outside and people watching.
My favorite pizza was the white but it was a hard pick because they’re all amazing!

Ive lived in Pittsburgh a long time and frequent the strip, but somehow I never had their pizza before December. WOW was it good. We got a selections of their cuts and loved every variety. The crust is light and flaky, good sauce, and great pairings of toppings. My mouth is still watering thinking about it.

The staff is awesome! The food is exceptional. I get the pizza and take it home almost every time we visit! Just made an order for two more and decided to rate.

Also pizza holds over GREAAT! toaster oven and it’s fresh again.

Tried sfogliatelle and orange -pistachio cannoli. I loved most that these were not overly sweet pastries.
I went just for a snack but realized that they also have homemade pastas, soups, and focaccia - can't wait to be back to try more stuff from their menu!!!!

Wonderful, ready to eat pastries and pizza. Connected to La Prima Espresso Italian espresso shop. Standing tables and outdoor seating.

Lovely place next to one of the best specialized coffee shops in the area .
I liked their variety of choices on pastries,
Hope would offer more sweets /Italian desserts as cakes slices .

This place is amazing, the pizza is so awesome, the baked goods are so good, they have these cherry and cheese Danish type pastry, they have a specific name i forget, but WOW they are amazing, there is cherry, apricot and a few others and I'm sure they are all as good as the cherry....The staff is always awesome too 💯

These guys have an absolute gift for their baking and cooking any food that you get from there I would never not recommend it because it is that delicious the things that I do highly recommend that I always get is creamy belonese or chicken Alfredo or even the pizza if I could give more than five stars I would

We live 2 hours away.. and every time we come to Pittsburgh.. we make a stop at this bakery!! The Ricotta pie is to die for. The cannoli are fantastic.. and their pizza is amazing!!! Best authentic Italian bakery in the area. The service is fabulous!! Highly recommend if you are in the area!!!

Terrific tiny bakery space next to La Prima on 21st St. They sell two or three kinds of pizza in the morning and a variety of cold or warm breakfast sandwiches, cannoli, tarts, and seasonal surprises (apple custard turnovers and panettone, for example). This is a standing-only, counter order place, with an open interior doorway to La Prima next door. Always a busy back bakery with staff turning out delicious creations. This is a solid spot, not to be overlooked on your morning shopping trip in The Strip District. Friendly, polite staff who always seem happy to be doing what they love.

Delicious pizza! Delicious desserts! Good pricing! You can't go wrong! We got the red margherita and were super happy!

Food is delicious! No great place to dine in unless eating outside. We keep coming back every time we are in Pittsburgh.

Fantastic authentic Italian eats. The bakery is known for their Meles and the restaurant has daily specials. The pasta sauce is made fresh daily and is truely made with love.

Best cannoli in Pittsburgh! And everything else I've had has been awesome. Try it you won't be disappointed.
