Pronio's Food Service

My family loves Pronio's Food Service. The quality of meat is wonderful. No antibiotics, hormone free, grass fed, etc. I love that they customize our order to our families needs both dietary and budget. My favorite thing is that they vacuum seal each individual piece of meet (some exceptions like sausage, hot dogs) so you only use what you actually need. They save us so much time and money.

We have been using Pronios for years and love them! The food is top quality and portions are individually wrapped, making it so convenient to just make what you need! But the best part of Pronios is their customer service – they truly go above, and beyond to ensure their customers are happy and taken care of. They are truly exceptional, which is the only reason I am writing this review. I never write reviews, but they deserve it 🙂

We couldn't be happier with the food and service we received from Pronio's Food Service.
Everything was delivered to our home, vacuum sealed, and packaged to our specifications. The beef, pork, poultry and seafood we ordered was all top quality and trimmed beautifully.
We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for better quality foods at a fair price.

I won last year's drawing at the Pittsburgh Home Show for $1000 in free meat. They came to our home and helped us pick out the meat we would like. The quality of their meat is exceptional. We have enjoyed everything. It's easy to schedule the delivery and everyone is very helpful.

I found Pronio's at the Pittsburgh home show and thought I would give them a try. I am glad I did. I will never purchase meat from anywhere else again. They scheduled a meeting for the first order and sat down with me to go over my usual eating habits in order to create the perfect custom order, including what portion sizes to create.. I ordered all sorts of things; chicken, lamb, duck, rabbit, beef, shrimp, cod, tilapia, veal, and more. Everything came vacuum sealed in the portion sizes I chose. The first thing I did was defrost and cook up the chicken, bacon and beef to see how much water or fat came out of it. I was shocked to see that there was next to none. Most of the packages, once opened and thawed, only had the meat and blood in it. The quality and freshness makes a world of difference when making anything from chicken nuggets to beef wellington. You might get sticker shock from the price, but honestly, for 6 months worth of meat I was expecting a much higher price. I have already been recommending Pronio's to people I know. Five stars, 100%.

Excellent customer service. We switched to Pronios because we wanted to know where our meat and seafood was coming from and that it was quality! Anthony was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. He is always there to answer any questions and help however he can. The quality of the meat and seafood we received is unbeatable. Highly recommend.

We have had meat delivery from Pronios for over 25 years. Why? Convenience, quality and consistency. Individually sealed chicken breasts are always the biggest part of the order- they are always trimmed and ready to go. Customer service has always been excellent, now into another generation of the Pronio family.

I have been receiving the highest quality meats from Pronio's for several years now. Their service is always the best! Their meat is also the best! In all of the years that we have been ordering our meat from them we have never once wanted to go back to the grocery store for any of our meat. I highly recommend Pronio's!

We are on our 2nd year of having a standing order with Pronios and it has been great! The meat is delicious...especially the bacon....and of amazing quality. They have allowed me to make adjustments to our order as needed. For example, we over ordered chicken. They allowed me to exchange some of that for an equal dollar amount in ground beef. They have always been so kind and worked well with us. We have had a great experience with Pronios and plan to continue using their services!

I am so glad we stopped at the Pronio booth at the home show. It has been a great experience from the start. The meat is fresh and packaged according to my family size, so no repackaging. The service is fantastic, and they give a satisfaction guarantee. The owners are so polite and accommodating.

Everything that I have tried thus far has been excellent! The only “negative” comment I would have is better delivery options. One late night per week or a Saturday delivery for those of us that aren’t home before 3pm.

I can't say enough good things about Pronio's! I used to shop grocery sales and would spend hours trimming, vacuum-sealing, and labeling all of my fresh meats every month. I started researching meal prep delivery companies online, and was thrilled to hear we have this family-owned business so close to home.

We placed our first order in spring of 2020, right before meat supplies started to become scarce. During our initial consult, we described our household--how many people, what we like to eat, how we like to prep our food, and Anthony made some suggestions that we further tailored to fit our needs. Fortunately for us, this meant we already locked in pricing for the EXACT cuts of meat we wanted--no picking through empty bins at the grocery store! I don't know exactly what made us place that order when we did, but I'm thankful for it.

Each year, we pay a deposit and have monthly deductions from our checking account to have a quarterly delivery of exactly what we need. No half-thawed shipments sitting outside on our porch--the delivery driver Wayne always shows up with a smile and gives us a call the night before just to be sure we'll be home when he arrives.

I don't have the time in my life to shop sales at the grocery store like I used to, so it's great to be able to get deliveries of exactly what I ordered, at a locked-in price. I also save a TON of time not having to prepare the food when it's delivered--all I have to do is stick it in the freezer until I'm ready to use it. Everything is individually sealed and labeled, ready to thaw and cook! I've never opened a piece of meat I've had to further trim.

Pricing is slightly more expensive than what you'd pay at a store, but the convenience and quality more than makes up for that. Pronio's is the perfect solution for the health-conscious, or those who want to get more time back in their lives to devote to something outside of the kitchen. Give them a try!
