Bistro 19

This place is rath plane and basic from the outside, but inside it’s very nice! Somewhat upscale (cloth napkins, etc), with a very creative menu, and excellent service. Came here for lunch with a coworker and really enjoyed the entire experience, from the food to the service.

Their fish sandwich is HUGE, with a fried cod filet on it that’s three times larger than the bun! The cheeseburger soup (which was the soup of the day when I stopped in) was creative, tasty and, really enjoyable! Save room for dessert though, they have an amazing dessert menu!

I would most definitely return and highly recommend stopping in to try it for yourself!

We love going here for special occasions. We’ve had the same server a few times now and really like her(sorry I don’t remember her name). The food is AMAZING. Service PERFECT. See you on my birthday🖤

Unreal! BISTRO has never disappointed me. I been going to bistro since 2014. Their seasonal set menus with wine pairing is second to none in the city. The delicacy the chefs are able to produce is outstanding. My wife and I just had the joy of the 2022 apple menu. I added the wine pairing. We can’t stop talking about it, and if it was more than the few days long we would have went again! We’re looking forward to the pumpkin menu coming soon!! Every meal is a guarantee night to remember.

One of my favorite places to visit whenever I come home to Pittsburgh. It's not an overcrowded menu but everything the do they do well. One bad note on this last visit was that they were out of a few items on their specials menu on a Monday evening. One of the seafood items was sold out which is a possibility for a 7:30 Monday night seating, but to be sold out of a particular wine on your daily specials menu was I felt not really good planning. However it won't affect my decision to come here often when I come home.

I went to Bistro 19 with my friends for lunch following the farmers market. The menu had many good food options and our waitress was very friendly. We went long but never felt rushed. My favorite thing about Bistro 19 was the atmosphere. It's a smaller size restaurant and feels upscale without being stuffy. I will go back for sure and maybe just for the cocktail bar! It's now one of my favorite Mt. Lebo restaurants. I do have several, now!

Was there Saturday night to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday. He had the swordfish and risotto special. He said it was the best meal he ever had! I had the orecchiette pasta. Fabulous! Our server was terrific and very sweet! A wonderful evening!

Chef Bauer's creations are amazing. I ordered the filet mignon and it's the best one I've ever had. The service is excellent. I will return again.

Awesome brunch experience. Very tasty food and a nice menu with a wide selection of brunch time alcoholic beverages. Very friendly server, she was very personable and was on top of everything. Great service overall, start to finish. My girlfriend instamgramed her food so you know it had to be good.

Wonderful atmosphere. We sat at the bar as it was a last minute decision to stop and eat. The menu is well rounded with a lot of thought going into each item. We chose the steak special, almond chicken, and the short rib pasta as meals and french onion soup. We like to order several items so we can sample each. Couldn't have be happier with the selection. Each meal had the attention to detail. Needless to say there was no leftovers to take home. The drink menu was also well thought out and we're all very good. All in all they obviously put a lot of time and detail in there menu. Couldn't have had a more enjoyable night. Well done to the staff!!!

This place was a great find on a business trip. Great wine selection at reasonable prices. Had a cheese tray delicious and the scallop dinner which was so good.. also Sarah at the bar was awesome.

Fabulous place to celebrate any special event! The food is top notch, the wait staff is fabulous, and the overall experience is just lovely! Highly recommend!

We been to dinner twice with my family. Food is delicious and staff is super attentive. The Atmosphere is romantic . If you are searching for a martini this is the place .

Excellent food, easily one of the best restaurants in the South Hills. Definitely make a reservation if you plan on going. You can sit at the bar if you don't have a reservation, but you will have to be lucky to get seats. This place is always crowded and for good reason. Going later in the evening affords a better chance of getting seats at the bar.

I am super impressed with this restaurant. The food and service were spectacular. Our server Paige was very personable and friendly. The bartender made the most tasty Cinnamon Spiced Apple mocktail for me which was much appreciated. And the chef prepared the most tender piece of duck I have ever tasted. Thank you for an overall great experience!

One of my favorite restaurants. It's always delicious and fresh tasting. Can never go wrong with anything you order there.

The steak salad and bananas foster are both to die for!!

Great prices and incredible food. My personal favorites were the almond chicken and grilled vegetable stack👌very unique and delicious. The servings are also not overwhelming and the service is great. Overall amazing! Highly recommend.

My husband and I had a wonderful dining experience on Valentine’s Day. The restaurant was pretty busy but the service was nothing but amazing. Our server was so nice and knowledgeable. I am 9 months pregnant and she offered a mocktail and it made me feel fancy for the occasion and was quite tasty and not overly sweet. The bread and butter were fresh and delicious. My husband and I split the Caesar salad which was enough for both of us and very satisfying. I got the special which was the scallops and they were the best thing I’ve eaten in a long time. My husband got the streak pappardelle and he loved his meal as well, he said it exceeded his expectations. We got the lava cake to go and enjoyed it at home. For one of our last date nights before our baby comes we had such an enjoyable experience.
