First time here and I went based off of the reviews. I will say that the reviews kind of fell short, the food is awesome, service is outstanding! I got there about a half hour before close which is around the time places with griddles start to clean up and they still fired it back up and delayed cleaning so that I could get the burgers I came for! The kids tore their hotdogs and fries up. Pricing is very good especially for a brick and mortar joint that has overhead employees etc. Will definitely return for some ice cream with the kids once it warms up so we can work our way across the menu!

I grew up two streets away from Jim's. I rarely get the chance to visit Pittsburgh but when I do I always drive by my childhood home and stop at Jim's. I usually get a variety of dogs, a green drink (tastes like green huggie), a kielbasa, and a burger. I like to close my eyes while I eat and imagine I'm a kid again and life is simple. I was very proud to bring my daughter last time as it was her first trip and she loved it. Please never let this place disappear!

Since 1927, families from all over the Pittsburgh area have been coming to the drive in from some of the best burgers, hot dogs and shakes in the area. Their unique and original sauce makes it well worth the trip on top of the hill in Duquesne. They have a good over all menu but we have mostly had the burgers and hot dogs with sauce, onions and cheese. With the hot dogs, they put everything together and then place it under the broiler for a great taste. Well worth the trip. Highly recommended!

I have been coming here for years ,for the great hot dogs. The Jim's famous sauce with onions and cheese is great ; you should try it sometime. Mike & his staff provide a great friendly customer experience.

Foods really good tried this place some time last month go there almost everyday now really good but they can definitely get way better fries if they wanted

New to West Mifflin and just thrilled to have a place within walking distance where they serve an honest-to-goodness vanilla malted with whipped cream and a cherry on top! 🎉🎉

Jim's sauce is the ultimate sauce, can be paired with just about anything!! Great quality food. Polite & professional service. Reasonable pricing. Classic look and feel. A staple in the local community for many years. My dad's been coming here since he was a kid, has been taking me since I was a tiny child, & will continue the tradition for as long as we have this wonderful establishment. Truly a treat! UPDATE: Now closed on Sundays.

Jim's hasn't changed- except for the picnic tables. The special sauce makes the hotdog. Its a great place to bring the family!

Finally convinced my niece to come along for the ride! She isn't a big hot dog fan! I told her just try it and then let me know...well she is already waiting on us to take the ride out again. The sauce is amazing and takes hot dogs to the next level!

I have been going to Jim's for at least 40 years and I am never disappointed. I always get the hot dogs. However, the burgers and barbecue look tasty too. If you've never been there you don't know what you're missing. Best hot dogs around.

The hot dogs are pretty great, with the famous sauce of course. It’s a bit like a sweet and sour, plus broiled cheese!

5 stars across the board. Consistent, solid hot dogs and burgers. Can’t go wrong with cheese fries either. The sauce is truly something special. Great service as well.

One of Pittsburgh's must visit food joints. It's been around since 1927. Hot Dog with Cheese, Sauce, and onions is the goto specialty. Their milkshakes are quite good as well. ( fixed the year)

Legendary Mon-valley gem... Been coming here since I was child and will still continue even though I live 40 minutes away. 2 cheese dogs with sauce and onions.. MmmmMmmMmmm

It's a place that you order the food through a window. I ordered the Italian sausage with onions and Jim's sauce. It was cooked as soon as l ordered and it was one of the best sausages I've ever had. The sauce was also delicious. I will be returning to try the other menu items

Old School Cool. It's not overpriced compared to the modern hot dog shops that are in the city. Very delicious!

This place is great. The hot dogs are cooked perfectly and the toppings options are great. The special sauce is yummy in my opinion with onions. But you can make it any way you choose. The fries are the shoestring cut, so they are thin and crispy. Just the way I prefer them. Great prices and staff is friendly.
