LMS Greenhouse & Nursery

I have been shopping here for years. The staff is really helpful and knowledgeable. It's a big place, but they know where everything is and will help you find what you are looking for. There is a lot of variety - it has always met my needs as a casual gardener.

I've put the plants side by side that I got both from LMS and from other nurseries (went somewhere else quick because I needed a few more items to fill my planting space) and was shocked to see how much healthier and fuller the ones from LMS were.

I look forward to my next trip back!

I love having plants around but I'm not all that experienced at caring for them. The people that work at LMS are very friendly and knowledgeable, and they always help me find plants that are just right for my needs (and skill level).

I also love their fairy gardens. I make them as gifts for friends - they're unique and special and really fun!

I definitely recommend this business to anyone in the area who needs help with picking out plants - they have the selection and the knowledge to help you find the right plants for your home.

We've lived Allison Park for close to 20 years. I had no idea a hidden GEM was hidden less than 2 miles away. When I finally learned of them through the high school band, we knew we were going. Especially to support local business instead of box stores during this pandemic.
Amazing place! Tons of varieties of annual flowers that are BEAUTIFUL & HEALTHY, Tons of healthy Perennial shrubs and plants, from, roses, to grasses, colorful succulents, & so many unique plants. Not only do they have a few large greenhouses full of beauty, they also have a huge arrangement of trees, including ornamental trees. Top soil, mulch, natural fertilizers, and a small store w such items as deer fence, gardening essentials, ornamental items & so much more. I will never go back to a big box store for gardening and lawn plants / trees / shrubs / hanging baskets / flats, etc.
LMS Greenhouses is my new hidden gem I am sharing. I completely would recommend it to everyone around. So close to Hartwood Acres, on Wagner.
No, I'm not being paid for this review and it is 100% true we never knew about LMS. It is a place I know, if you are a plant or garden lover, you will love LMS. As their Moto is "To Plant A Garden Is To Believe In Tomorrow".

It’s always such a pleasure to visit this nursery. Knowledgeable staff, always helpful and polite, great selection of plants which by the way all appear very very healthy.

Sorry they are closing after 47 years Every year, Richard and Anna Cafaro have come to rely on a dozen seasonal workers from Mexico. But this year, the Trump Administration capped the number of visas and those workers never came. However, their has been no reduction to the number of Mexican workers at Trump properties. Sad

Such a great spot! Jane was very helpful in picking out the right mix of flowers/plants for either sun or shade.

Just came back from LMS with dreams of turning our ugly duck front yard into a place of paradise based off of awesome feedback and recommendations from Rich... I would strongly recommend this place if you are looking to purchase local from a place with a strong homegrown feel and who will treat you like family!

I am bad with name but the lady who runs the nursery was awesome yesterday when I came in unannounced with tons of questions. She picked planted and dropped knowledge like a professor on what would and would not work. I am driving out of my way to come back based on her hustle and knowledge!

First time here. Great selection, wonderful staff and reasonably priced. No more overcrowded big box stores for us.

Great nursery for those looking for plants not typically found at the big box stores. You may pay a little more here but great selection and knowledgeable people go a long way in my world.

Surprised to see that this business is back open. Not sure why that happened because 2 years ago we purchased 3 large pine trees and several shrubs at a "going out of business sale". The owner claimed they were going out of business due to the lack of seasonal help. All of the items died..would not recommend.
