Great Course in fantastic shape for December. Ownership is awesome! If you want to get into the Christmas Spirit the resturant pop up bar is Christmas Amazing OMG. A memory your family will always remember. Great Job Sam Thanks and Merry Christmas!!

Me and my father came here, very clean. Service was very high, checking on us refilling our drinks were fantastic! Food was amazing. Everything was on point here. I most definitely recommend this golf club to come eat and have a great time playing golf. Me and my father both had left on full stomachs. Be sure to check them out!

Not sure about all the negative ratings here. Played on a mid november morning and the course was in pristine condition. A lot better than most western PA courses in prime season. Only a few courses in the area marvel the layout and upkeep of Hickory Heights.

Fantastic public track for the price. Fun clubhouse, laid back atmosphere, and some truly brilliant golf holes.

Anyone who thinks this place isn’t worth the $60 green fee simply doesn’t play much golf and doesn’t understand what type of value Hickory offers.

Not arguing it’s perfect, would love to see some work on the tee boxes and driving range, but for the price, it’s as good a public course as exists in the area.

Easily my favorite public course in Pittsburgh due to the layout, design, slope and well maintained greens/fairways. It's difficult but fair and setup in a way that won't allow u to just overpower it with drives. It's a true test of all aspects of your game and each hole presents a new obstacle. I absolutely love it!

One thing tho... the flag should never be upper tier on #7. Dear god!!!

People who rated this course low must not have played on other courses in the area. This is hands down top of the list when it comes to public courses. The scenery is beautiful, with wildlife running all over the place. Yes it is difficult, but so what step your game up

I love this course. I used to golf here almost 3-4 times a week during winter. During summer months, it gets backed up and it would be nice to have a marshal around to enforce pace of play to slow players, but i think that’s because the course is so beautiful and challenging that a lot of people like to golf here.
Course is always very well kept and the layout is also very challenging. Unless you’re DeChambeau long, most par 5’s won’t let you grab your driver and force you to think of your strategy more carefully. Very challenging par 3’s that require absolutely sound tee shots with very little margin of error. The greens are also very difficult with tricky pin locations.
Overall, great course with great staff. I would come back here everyday.

We had a blast! Course was in shape and up to the task. Greens ran true....too bad I stink. Elevation changes makes for a challenge. Sam Jr. had the course looking good. Thank You for a very good time. We'll be back for sure.

Great course, challenging par 3's. Great layout. I've never had a problem with the starter. Also Sam Sr. and Jr are great. I recommend this course to everyone. Bring your A game!

The course was wonderful. The carts with the GPS is also a major bonus. However the carts are controlled/restricted so it's pretty much cart path only 24/7 if you're not a scratch golfer.

This course was in excellent shape in November. Greens were fast and smooth. Great day on the links. Some tight holes, and some open holes. Very well maintained!! Great views from the hilltops. Loved it.

Course is going through some changes yet it is still the best public course around I only anticipate it getting better. The grounds crew does a great job friendly staff and the food is good. The prices are fair and when you get on the course you will understand that it is worth it for a public course.

Played here recently and the greens at Hickory Heights are better than most country clubs in the area. Course condition was superb for a public course. Pizza was great too! Will go back again and again.

I just golfed here last week with my buddy. The course is in great shape. The cost is right. They also have very nice, high-end carts. I will go back here in the future.

We had a beautiful get together with family and friends last night at Hickory Heights. The food was excellent and the staff did a Great job handling all our requests! We will definitely be back!

Course is in Great Condition. Greens are some of the best in Pittsburgh. Fast and smooth. Highly recommended!!! Will definitely play again.

The course is great for me and my friends, and we loved the food. Service was excellent and so was the shop. We have golfed there a couple of times and it always a pleasure to golf.

Great place to play, albeit very challenging if you are not a "great" golfer The staff is always very friendly and there is never too much of a delay. Weekday pricing of 28$ to ride 18 can't be beat

Looking great right now. Tight, hilly, tough. One of the most challenging courses in the south hills.
