It's so nice to have a local soap place! I've purchased before, but this was my first stop in-store. There are a ton of choices, there are smaller sizes of a lot of popular soaps if you want to try a variety to see what you might like, and they have so many types to choose from. Hand/body, facial soaps, shampoo bars, even dish soap! Also, bath bombs, some art/decor items, gift sets, and more! Check it out!

love love love! Such an amazing lather to their products, high quality ingredients, delicious scents that aren't overwhelming...and when you shop with them you're supporting a small business. Amazing gifts for any occasion as well. I <3 Pip & Lola's!

This is a wonderful shop with natural products. I have very sensitive skin and have never had any problems with the products sold at Pip and Lola's. Also they sell a soap specifically for dogs that really reduce my pup's dander. I definitely recommend and hope that more people try this great local business!

I’ve been to this shop (ivy st location) several times and I cannot recommend the products enough. Wonderful and varied scents and the soaps leave your skin feeling incredible. I’ve given a few soaps to friends as well and they all loved them too!
Going into the shop on a Soapy Tuesday and talking with the owners has become a new routine I’ve enjoyed doing, and I recommend others do as well.

Was eating at a restaurant across the street when we saw the bubble blower and decided to stop in. So glad we did! Not only did I know the trivia for a free soap, but my son enjoyed picking out bath bombs for himself. We enjoyed everything there and it was hard to choose! Will stop back for sure! ❤

Owner/staff always so friendly and helpful. I never feel like a customer but rather an old friend. I get suggestions w/o feeling like I am being fold a product. Love the theme with the Shakespeare soap names.
Thank you.

Stopped by the new location over the weekend and got a few soaps to try. They were so incredibly helpful and I’ve loved the mint soap and the dry shampoo so far! Excited to try the rest. I switched to bar soap a few years back in an effort to live more sustainably and am happy to have found a great place in the Pittsburgh area to get my soaps! I prefer these over buff city soaps which I have used for a long time.

Adorable little Shadyside boutique on Ivy Street specializing in handmade soaps and assorted sundry items. We were looking for some cute dinner guest gifts and Pip & Lola's were the perfect choice. Check this little gem out!

Love this store! Everything smells great. I purchased the Peppermint Cream lip balm, Old Hippy Lotion and Old Hippy & Lady Macbeth soaps. I love them all and couldn't be happier. I will be back.

Great soap shop now with 3 locations with the newest one being in the Strip district. All soaps are either vegan or vegetarian with whimsical names given to them. They come either scented or unscented.

Quality soap made by owners who participate in a buy two give one donation campaign. As well as body and facial soap they sell shampoo soap, dishwashing soap and beauty accessories. They also support other small businesses by seeing either the artwork or handcrafted greeting cards in the store.

Staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Worth visit if you are near the mall at Robinson, Homestead, or in the Strip district.

Love this company! I buy their lovely soap as gifts frequently and use it for myself. The free shipping on bars is greatly appreciated and makes it a convenient/quality gift to send to friends. I also love how their shampoo has a light scent, really beautiful smells, nothing too overpowering!

Pip and Lola’s is fabulous! I have been purchasing their lovely soaps since we moved to Munhall 4 years ago. I always use ‘The Last Midnight’ facial soap and currently using ’Marós Mismín’ shampoo bar. I love the free samples they give with every purchase, they’re perfect for vacation or camping when you don’t need a full size or just to give to a taste of other soaps they have!
Oh, and did you know they are just the SWEETEST people ever!?!
Check them out, you will not be disappointed!

The products here are amazing quality and I'm SO ADDICTED. Their soap does incredible things to my skin, and the shop is full of so many other healthy products for beauty and home. Do you have skin conditions or specific preferences? Go to the shop and pick the owners' brains. This is half the fun of visiting in person. You'd be amazed at what is available and how individually they can tailor their recommendations to you. This shop is what you've been looking for.

I ordered a few shampoo bars online and had them shipped to my home in Ohio. I've tried other shampoo bars before and they've mostly been ok. But these are the first ones that I've really enjoyed. They make great lather and rinse clean. Will definitely plan to buy more from Pip & Lola in the future!

Quite honestly, Pip and Lola's is one of the best companies I've ever shopped through! They are very accommodating, have never gotten any orders wrong, they ship very quickly, and their soap is absolutely amazing! The soap always smells amazing and feels great! I will never go anywhere else!

Discovered their Shakespeare line of soaps about a week ago and ordered a handful both for me and for gifts. They smell absolutely amazing and I only wish I had bought more. Great quality for a great price! Perfect gift for English majors/professors or theatre students.

Personal favorites are the Beatrice and Titania.

I have never been disappointed in any soap I've ever gotten from Pip and Lola's Everything Homemade. The face soaps, hand and body soaps, and shampoo bars are all A+.

The soaps are pretty strong. You know when you're near the last of your bar of soap and you squeeze it too hard and it breaks into two small pieces of soap and you're like, "well now how am I supposed to use these?" That like never happens to me with these soaps. The most structurally sound soaps I've used for sure.

I like the minimal packaging and I find it easy to reuse the packaging for arts and craft projects. The packaging is also very easy to recycle if you'd rather recycle than reuse/repurpose.

There are soaps that do not have much smell to them which is ideal for those who are sensitive to scents/fragrances, but there are also wonderfully scented bars that fill up your shower with luxurious aromas.

I also like that so far, whether I buy the soaps at a farmer's market or online, I get little samples of soaps. I love to put these out for overnight guests or for when I travel.

Hmm. What else is there to compliment? I have not been on site at the store but I have been meaning to stop by. All of the interactions I've had with Pip & Lola's at farmer's market have been an absolute delight. They are the nicest people I've met in PGH!

I will never buy another brand of soap, not as long as these guys are in business at least.

I love Pip and Lola’s soap, I have loved it ever since it was first created by the awesome and talented Samantha and Bruce! They have something for you no matter what your favorite scent (or not scent) is. It is calming and restorative just to go into the room where the soap is kept.
Also, for whatever you might need an excellent soap, including facial, scrubby, or super-gentle, they’ve got what you need.
Explore and breathe in the goodness!!!
(Wait, don’t inhale the soap. And although some of them smell good enough to eat, I don’t recommend that, either.)

I prefer bar soaps which are natural and unscented. Purchased soaps and shampoo bars from Pip and Lola's at Sugarloaf, NJ. Gifted some of them to my niece and both us love them!!!
I bought a mixed bunch, scented soaps are not overwhelming, large and square shape so they don't slip out of your hands when wet, foamy lather and rinses well without leaving dry or greasy feeling.
This was the first time I used a Shampoo Bar, very lightly scented, not harsh on hair, didn't had to lather too much for foam (3-4 gentle strokes) and rinses well, I have short hair so did use a conditioner after the shampoo.
They have a large variety to choose from. While purchasing them - I was explained in detail which soaps and shampoo bars are good for which type of skin or hair. I was also given loads of samples which made my niece extremely happy. I don't remember the owners name but they are based out on PA, family run business. You can purchase their products online.

The new location on 8th Ave. is spacious and very nice. Wonderful place to visit...they some handmade crochet/knit items in addition to the handmade soaps, candles and lotions. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed and the owners are knowledgeable.. The soaps are fantastic...I love the selection because there is something for everyone: sensitive skin, vegans, children, and pets🙂. I'm in ❤ with the solid lotion. It's perfect when I crochet, keeping my hands supple and not greasy.
