Wild Rosemary

What an experience last night at Wild Rosemary for our 15th anniversary celebration! I've driven by this unassuming 22-seat gem more times than I care to mention, for what seems like 20 years. What a mistake!
We began our evening like any celebration should, with bubbly! A 2019 bottle of our favorite pet-nat from Las Jaras, followed by their 2020 Trousseau Gris. Shortly after we popped the cork, we were presented with a whipped Luxardo cherry mascarpone. Said cherries were also reduced in a red wine. A couple of off menu special followed. The baked ricotta with roasted tomatoes, pickled artichokes, olives, and peppers, and the prime carpaccio. Next up was the U-8 grilled scallops that were so sweet. It was like eating ocean's candy! Now, to our actual entrees, the lamb shank and veal chop. Incredible in every way, from the chop's crispy exterior and extremely succulent interior to the perfectly rendered shank, these dishes outshined the rest. Which is an insane statement.

This may all seem like a lot, and it was! To be fair, we spent 3 and a half hours here, totally enjoying one another's company. I meant it when I said experience. This place is a whole vibe, to say the least! We spent the evening listening to the likes of the recently late Bobby Caldwell, Lou Rawls, Stevie Wonder, Gino Vannelli, the Doobie, and Isley Brothers, Shalamar, Commodores, Anita Baker, Santana, DeBarge, Sade, After 7, EW&F, and a host of other joints that just made the mood right!

We rounded out this incredible evening with some La Prima french press coffee and the Yaya dessert. This textural BOMB is an accordion crunched filo loaded with nuts, honey, and whipped cream. Think deconstructed baklava, but with a nuanced sweetness. I'd be lucky to finish 1 triangle of baklava. Had there been more coffee, I may have ordered another! I quite literally left a list of dates for our next return visit. It's that great! Thank you to the ladies who made our evening incredibly special!

I have been looking forward to dining at Wild Rosemary for quite sometime now and boy, was it worth the wait!
The atmosphere is filled with the best energy, from the people behind the scenes, to the other guests. The food was excellent, and I felt so cozy and comfortable in the eclectic dining space. You could tell other diners have been coming in for quite some time, and they keep coming back for good reason.
I'm looking forward to many more visits!!! ❤

Awesome,, we love places like this,, very tentative,, the service is great,, the parking is very good, the staff is friendly and helpful,, our service team did a most awesome job,, the restaurant is very clean, the restrooms are very very clean,, the owner knows how to do it right, I appreciate the extra mile they go.
They also have a outdoor patio area.
Truly a 5 STAR ⭐ ⭐⭐⭐⭐ restaurant and they show it in their service. No suit, just go casual,, if you wish.

Wild Rosemary is the ultimate dining experience. Our meal started with complementary homemade biscuits and an awesome goat cheese souffle. We had a wonderful salad with tomatoes and a mozzarella like cheese. We all enjoyed our entrees and everything was delicious. It's BYOB and your food is prepared as it's ordered it's all fresh.
We ended the night with homemade desserts. Wild Rosemary is outstanding. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The owners are running a killer street food stand with an amazing grill out front their restaurant. Got their grilled pork sandwich and it's to die for. This hit the spot on a hot summer day! 10/10 would recommend you stop by

The food is delicious and the atmosphere is intimate and relaxed.
We ordered the stuffed banana peppers to start. They were perfectly seasoned with just a little bit of heat. We ordered the filet mignon for our main and I could have drunk the amazing red wine sauce. The stakes were cook to medium rare and had the texture of butter. They melted in your mouth. I'm sure I'm leaving out details, but I will never forget the incredible service we received from the time we arrived until we left.
We were treated like honored guest and had an excellent experience.
We definitely plan on coming back, and will remember to byob. Thank you to everyone at Wild Rosemary for a wonderful time and a memorablemeal.

Was not sure what it would be like. There has been a "hype" around this since opening. Friends of ours got a reservation so we went. I have to say I was not disappointed.

The lamb shank they were doing this time was absolutely superb. The charcuterie they were offering as an appetizer was spot on. My wife had the scallops that night and she loved that.

The desert was great as well. I had the white chocolate berry tart they were offering and it hit the spot. I was worried it would be too sweet, but it was spot on.

Finally, I love that coffee at the end is done French press - really allows you to properly finish the meal.

This place is definitely worth every penny. Atmosphere her is only second to how great the staff are. One of the partners came to our table and was just a delight to talk to. They did an awesome job and I will be settle more reservations in the near future.

We've been coming for 9 years. There is no where like this place. You have to go to get it. Bring good with you and good will come to you.

This was the first time me and my man went to the Wild Rosemary. It was highly recommended by two close friends of mine. The hospitality was the best. The service was excellent and we got to mingle with other guest. What a wonderful atmosphere to enjoy a night out. We will definitely be back. Thank You for showing us such a great time.

I can not stress this enough, make a reservation. The women that run this place are incredible. Outstandingly kind, outstanding food, and outstanding people. It is 100% worth it. They really go above and beyond for their customers. Anne our waitress was so knowledgeable and nice. The owners are amazing. I highly recommend the scallops!

One of a kind restaurant in the most unlikeliest of places, Wild Rosemary is somewhere that seems to belong elsewhere, in the best of ways. The restaurant is run by two women - Kathleen, the woman who greets you at the front with glasses, and Gloria, who cooks all the food (hence the minimal seating a night, and the comparably long wait times). The food is something else, honestly, and no matter what you get, you'll be happy. This restaurant is BYOB and the ambience inside makes for a perfect date, or dinner out with friends. My parents go pretty frequently, and the wait is worth it. Just be prepared for a long night!

Gloria is a master chef! Veal chop w/ root veg was top notch.

Excellent dinner. Four people with different choices and each one was exceptional! Great food, service. Definitely be back! Pork chop, lamb chops, scallops, and seafood special. Yum!

This place is FANTASTIC 🤩 The service is second to none. EVERYTHING on the menu is delicious. It's a bit tough to get a reservation, but it's worth it!!

I actually dined here a few months ago and forgot to write a review, nevertheless I absolutely love this restaurant. The atmosphere, the owners, waitress and food were absolutely fabulous. I made reservations before I left because they are so busy. Definitely recommend.

Seriously the best food you will ever have in your life. Tops all nice restaurants at Mt. Washington, downtown, etc. The scallops are to die for, cooked to perfection. Such a pleasant dining experience and very romantic. Will keep coming back.

This is my favorite restaurant in the Pittsburgh area. I have been eating here since they opened. The entire dining experience is unique and delicious. The chef and staff are outstanding. I highly recommend Wild Rosemary.
