Brighton Music on Babcock Blvd. is a musical haven with engaging staff who personalize your buying experience. They took time to understand my musical preference, even arranging a product transfer to let me try a preferred guitar. The interaction was a refreshing swap of musical passions rather than mere sales. While the electric guitar section felt a bit tight and mid-range options were somewhat limited, the overall experience struck a beautiful note. A rare find where you're part of a music community rather than just a customer. Loving my new banjo!

My son wanted to learn how to play the drums. I called Brighton Music Center, knowing absolutely nothing about drums or where to start. Brad went above and beyond to help me out! He gave me several options and helped me choose a set that was best for my son and within our budget. He was great to work with, making the process super easy.
The store was neat and organized; full of a huge selection of instruments. The other employees were pleasant and helpful too!

Brighton made renting an instrument so easy! I registered online and the instrument was delivered to my child’s school. Ending the rental took less than five minutes in store and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend!

Matt was a great and friendly technician who restrung intonated and adjusted the action on two of my guitars, one of which also needed new tuning pegs. The work was quick and expertly done.

This is hands down my favorite place to go for music gear. I've never felt so accomodated/heard in a shop like this. I was a bit worried they would be snobbish, being a well regarded place for music lessons. In my experience, you either find good salesmenship or a good learning environment, but Brighton is certainly both. From the first time i went there, i was directed to their very tidy guitar pedal testing station (complete with competant explanations when i asked about what brand would suit my needs best), and from then on ive been sufficiently aided and guided *every single time* ive gone. Huge props to Josh, believe me when i say ive gotten a lot of music gear advice before but i dont think ive had someone recommend the things i needed and had them work perfectly every time without fail.

I've been going to Brighton music center for years! They are always so helpful and knowledgeable. Matt Sabbath is amazing and just got my guitar that sat in storage for 20 years in good working condition for a super reasonable price.

Wow, I am truly impressed with the level of service and attention from the staff at Brighton music! I took in a guitar I had ordered online elsewhere which had some string buzzing issues and the guitar tech did a quick setup for me on the spot. Turns out there was a high fret on the guitar, which would have been a more intensive and expensive fix, however Brighton Music Center carries the same model Ibanez guitar in-stock (plus a few others) so I was able to spend some time playing the models they had and ultimately bought a guitar from them instead (and returned the one with string buzz issues to the online store where I got it). The guitar tech spent a generous amount of time with me and was very friendly, and even interrupted his lunch to take a look at my guitar. I think in the hour I was there four additional staff members offered different forms of help and each one of them was upbeat and equally friendly. On top of all that, I got a better price on the guitar than online and was given a deal on a tuner purchased with the guitar. I can't say enough good things about this experience and I will be shopping at Brighton Music Center as a first choice in the future.

I had my trumpet repaired. It was done professionally, in a timely manner, and at a reasonable price. The employees that helped me today were very courteous and helpful.

I don’t normally post reviews, but everyone who works here is fantastic, just so nice and so knowledgeable. I came here for instrument repair (flute) and also instrument purchase (ukelele) and am so happy I chose to come here. The prices are also very reasonable. Will definitely come here for any musical needs in the future.

Everyone here is just the best. Super helpful, lots of good insights, and experienced, understanding staff. I have been coming here since I was a kid and am happy I can now bring my own kids.

Highly recommend supporting Brighton music Center. A good friend of mine gave me a fender Mexican precision Bass guitar that had been in his family for 20 plus years. Hardly used but had a lot of wear and tear. I took this bass guitar to Brighton music Center to resurrect it and they did just that! Matt Sabbath, who was the tech that worked on it did an absolutely amazing job bringing it back to life. Also, I've always had such positive interactions with the employees that work with their (including Matt) when talking about various accessories for my Bass guitars as well as exploring a new amp (still saving up for the last one!).
