61B Cafe

61B is super cool and very pittsburgh. I also enjoy their sister store in squirrel hill.

The barista was super kind and helpful. There is a spiral staircase that goes to a lower level. They sell coffee grinds here too. I got the mocha latte and it was great.

The prices are great comparatively for other coffee shops.

Cute and cozy Cafe with very reasonable prices, really good coffee, and a lot of choices for pastries, sandwiches, and bagels.

I really enjoyed my large vanilla latte. Great place to catch up with an old friend. I look forward to going back again and maybe trying one of their great looking scones.

Somewhat dully lit, but there's something charming to lit, like a secret hole in the wall.

Don't go if you're in a hurry, because the cashier makes the drinks. But if you're visiting a friend and have the time, it's a very pleasant place.

Reasonable volume of music and ambient background for studying-believe it or not, many cafes are not good places to study as they are loud and noisy, but this place does not suffer from that problem. It is a small space, but has a decent amount of tables for the size. The juices are fresh squeezed and delicious. The coffee is good. I like supporting local businesses and this is definitely worth the dime. It is reasonably priced and has free Wifi.The only drawback is the business only accepts cash, would suggest taking cards, but overall it is still a very nice place. Parking can be found on the street and being that it is Regent Square, it can be tight. Overall, a nice place!

61B Cafe was a gem! I had their cafe latte and it made me realize that their no fuss blend tasted "real" if that makes sense. I frequent Starbucks and the compare is a lot of sugar additives in the Starbucks concoction. 61B Cafe also had delectable treats for which I did not partake. That's for next time!

Loved my experience at 61B cafe today. The individual who helped me was super nice, and the pastries were so wonderful. It's places like 61B that make me excited to be moving to Regent Square in the fall. Very excited! Also heads up - they're cash only

My favorite coffee shop in the recent square area. Coffee/espresso is always brewed properly, and the pastries are delicious and fair priced. I drive past other shops to make regular visits to 61B - it's my preferred coffee spot.

This is a great, locally owned cafe. I frequented its sister store, the 61C, years ago when I lived in Squirrel Hill. I moved to the greater Regent Square area 1.5 years ago and I'm delighted for 61B. No air plants, Edison lights, gleaming white tiles, or reclaimed wood tables here. Just homey atmosphere and an oasis from the outside world. The baristas are all class. Among the best tea selections in Pittsburgh. House-baked scones. Could do with a more interesting soundtrack than BOB FM in my opinion, but I still dig it.

I love it here! The people, atmosphere and food is great. I love bringing my friends here to chat over a cup of coffee of hot chocolate.

Stopped for dessert and a coffee after dinner at Tai Cottage across the street. Great coffee, great pastries, fantastic biscotti and a good variety. I will never pass this shop if I am looking for a coffee. IT IS CASH ONLY . Thar is the only negative. Great staff & pleasant environment.

Just stopped in on for some quick caffeination (sp) my way through the Square but will certainly be back!
