Greenwood Memorial Park

Dad has been here for 9 years and Mom just 2. This place is beautiful, peaceful. Well maintained. Anytime I have had contact with someone here they were friendly, supportive and very helpful. I came with mom and dad initially to set everything up and they were very helpful then as well. I have no complaints.

Anytime I come to Pittsburgh always stop by to visit my dad my uncle and my grandpa parents and every time it affects me I miss you guys and I love you guys

I live out of state and visit my grandparents’ gravesite several times a year. When I attempted to visit today (December 27), the entrance to the cemetery, parking lot of the mausoleum and roads to the gravesites had not been plowed, let alone salted. The roads were not treated or serviced at all. Our vehicle could not make it past the parking lot. Sadly, we had to turn around and were unable to clear off their gravesites and pay our respects. I am very disappointed in this poor service. The winter storm occurred on December 23 and we have not received any snow since then; all other roads have been cleared of snow and ice. This is unacceptable and there is no excuse.

My whole family has dealt with this cemetery in the past, currently, and was going to continue in the future. My loved one has almost been deceased for one year (4/24/2021) and his marker/tombstone has yet to be laid. It is paid for, letters have signed to start production, and yet the marker still has yet to be laid. I have called, spoken to supervisors, etc. Yet things have still yet to be done. Instead I've received the runaround. It will happen in 6-8 weeks, then 6-12 weeks, we are under new management, etc. This is unacceptable when you can't put the final touches, final resting to your love one. Do not do business with Greenwood Memorial if you want things done in professional manner.
