We can not say enough good about Mt Hope, it’s caretaker, Nick, and the grounds staff. Nick is knowledgeable, honest, kind and professional in his handling of all matters. He gently and professionally guides grieving families as they make decisions and preparations for their loved ones. He and his staff made us feel so special in making final burial arrangements perfect.

The grounds are well maintained and Mt Hope, with its location, trees, landscaping, etc. is simply beautiful.

With the great staff and lovely setting, Mt Hope is an excellent option for consideration.

Our grateful and sincere appreciation to Nick and all at Mt Hope in helping us through a difficult time.

Nick and the team at Mt. Hope Cemetery have been both kind and understanding in managing my parent's final arrangements. They helped me navigate the unfamiliar waters with respect and compassion. My positive experience has led me to entrust my own prearrangements with Mt. Hope. I take comfort in knowing that the grounds and facility are clean and well maintained. They go above and beyond to make sure that I am satisfied.

We feel comforted that Mt Hope has such an awesome caretaker (Nick) as our entire family rests in his care. Nick was incredibly accommodating and very prompt to assist us in a stressful time. He worked briefly after hours just to do a good deed as I was leaving town the next day. We truly appreciate his heartfelt kindness, professionalism , and attention to detail in keeping the cemetery well maintained and looking beautiful for our family. We are grateful to him for his compassion and quality service.

My family and I have had the most positive experience with Mt Hope Cemetery. The loss of our father right at the beginning of the COVID shutdown in 2020 was was already difficult to manage but Nick was so kind and understanding during this difficult time. His explanation of the process and the help he offered was excellent from beginning to end. My family already has future plans to use them again

When my boyfriend knew he only had about a year to live, we spoke with Nick, the caretaker, about getting things started. He wanted a mosoleum space and Nick said a new one was being built so we were able to pick the spot he wanted. When he passed, Nick helped me find the right size for a picture and helped figure out the wording under his dates, using the least amount of words to encompass all family members, just to help keep the cost down. Nick has been very patient, kind and extremely helpful. The whole team does a superb job with keeping the grounds looking wonderful. It was a real pleasure to work with them and I know my boyfriend is in good hands, in the cemetery as well as with God.

Nick and the team at Mount Hope are a god send. Going through the unexpected death of my dad, they treated my family with the utmost respect, empathy and understanding while making head-spinning decisions. But the best part of getting to know Nick and team is that I feel at peace knowing that they will look after my dad. My Dad would love them. Very personable, caring and willing to help anyone. The cemetery is meticulously cared for and provides a sense of calm when you drive up the hill. Nick and the Mount Hope team will be life long friends for the caring they have shown our family.

Nick and his crew are great! They do a fantastic job of keeping the grounds manicured and beautiful. Nick is very kind. We have, as a family, had many interactions with him through the years. We have three generations resting at Mount Hope. He is always professional, efficient and caring. We now live very far away. We are confident that our family's graves are well cared for at Mount Hope. Thank you Nick!

General Manager Nick at Mt. Hope Cemetery did absolutely everything to ensure that my father was buried with the utmost of care and professionalism. I had been having issues getting information from the monument company and didn't know where to seek help. I called Nick and he put me in touch with the Burket-Truby Funeral Home who immediately gave me direct contact with the monument company's owner. Now every one of my issues are being resolved and I have an entire team working to make Dad's monument the finest I could ever imagine. I am so grateful.

The day before Veteran's Day, I called Nick about seeing if one of my ancestors had a gravestone. Nick not only located the gravesite, but one of his associates located the grave and shouted out that my ancestor had served in the Pennsylvania Infantry! You could hear the excitement in Nick's and the associate's voices. Nick even texted me a picture of the gravestone and gave me permission to post it on Find a Grave. This service is above and beyond any I have experienced while researching my ancestors' final resting places.

I have family buried in this cemetery. The grounds are perpetually cared for someone left a great deal of money to take care of this cemetery.
In the upper portion of the cemetery there are some Revolutionary War soldiers buried.
There's always flags on the graves.
The office staff is very friendly and I keep Good Records if you're doing genealogy.
