Great bike shop run by great people. I had a bicycle accident near the 40th st bridge and did some damage to my bike. Brought it into ICB and they worked hard to get it back to tip top shape. Big thanks to Bob who was the one that fixed my bike!

There's a reason that this place has (at the time of writing), 103 reviews with an average score of FOUR POINT NINE STARS. Simply put, it's because the people who work here are rad. Super knowledgeable, great at what they do, but also incredibly chill and warm and kind. Fantastic service, incredibly reasonable prices--or, rather, I should say almost UNreasonably *under-priced* for the work they do, I've visited three times now for various maintenance things and I'm a lifer. As long as I live within biking distance and as long as Iron City Bikes is in operation, they're my go-to for all my bike maintenance and repair needs.

I walked in on a Sunday and I was having trouble with my front derailleur and gears changing expecting to leave my bike. The technician put my bike up on a stand and corrected my problem in less than 20 minutes! I regret not getting the names of the two gentlemen that worked on my bike. They were so friendly and professional; I had my 7 year daughter with me and the gentlemen gave her souvenirs. Best experience I have ever had any a repair shop of any kind. I will not go to any other bike shop! Thank you so much!

Walked in looking for some foam grips. They weren't selling what I was looking for, but they let me rummage in the old parts bin. Problem solved! Guy working there helped me install with some compressed air and helped me and the bike out the door.

These guys are great! I stopped by yesterday for a tune up. I knew they had about a week’s wait, but my bike needed such little work they just handled it on the spot! I am so pleased! And the price was reasonable, especially compared to another shop a mile down the road. I’ll definitely be returning when I need help again.

They fixed up my unicycle’s seat clamp with excellent and friendly service, and went above and beyond to ensure that it worked correctly :)

Friendly and knowledgeable folks at this place. Very helpful guidance towards continuing the cycling journey. Made some great adjustments to my bike, along with installing a few upgrades in a short time at a very reasonable price. I was highly appreciative of the explanations and answering my questions as I come to understand and learn more. Visiting this place left me feeling very inspired about our city's cycling ecosystem.

The best Local Bike Shop service I have ever done business with. I will recommend anyone and everyone to come here. Took my bike in expecting it to be totaled. Not only did they get the bike back to great condition the same day, but it was an affordable expense as well. Extremely nice team that works there. They took the extra time to talk me through everything. I was very happy by the end of it.

Very happy to have found this bike shop! The staff has a lot of knowledge, expertise and genuine passion about bikes. I went in with some issues I was having with my gears and they made several other adjustments that made my ride so much better after. Very helpful and friendly and answered all my questions. Will be going back here regularly.

Great bike shop. Staff are knowledgeable and engaging. They have a good selection and fair prices. They even ordered me a part they didn't have in stock, and communicated very well to get me the item as quickly as possible :)

A lot of bike shops I’ve realized are full of snarky people who try to make you feel dumb for not knowing about bike mechanics and will charge you a ridiculous amount for a minimal amount of work.. Bob is the best!!

Had to get a new wheel for my bike. Tried another bike shop in PGH, which had the tire I needed in stock but wouldn’t sell to me as they claimed they needed it for repairs. Iron city ordered the right tire for me, free shipping to their store. Arrived in 5 days. Offered to put it on for free on my bike. Won’t go to any other bike shop in pittsburgh now.

Truly my dudes. Today was my first time visiting the shop, and I feel good knowing I have a reliable place to go now for my tune ups and questions. I brought in a bike I had assembled myself (I know close to nothing about bikes, just how to watch youtube) and was looking for a part. The wonderful guy who helped me gave the whole bike a once over, gave me valuable advice and taught me a few things about the bike and how to care for it. I received really indispensable information, and such a good interaction. It was very clear he was looking out for the safety of the bike, which not only made me feel good but taught me some safety precautions I can now take myself. Thank you, guys! See you soon :)

We had a derailer issue with my bike early sat evening. We called the shop as they were closing and the mechanics said to bring the bike over. The issue with the derailer was pretty bad and we were far from home so the fact the shop helped us out right before closing was really fortunate for us and the mechanic was really easygoing and understanding about our need for support. I will definitely support this bike shop again and recommend it.

I've been dealing with Bob and the crew at Iron City Bikes for over two years. These guys are honest and passionate about bikes. They spend the time to answer questions and strive to help you find the bike that fits your needs. There are no high pressure sales tactics and always a friendly demeanor. I take all of my bikes to Iron City Bikes for mechanical repairs. The rates are reasonable and the work is always quality.

I've been a loyal customer for years now. I bought and had bikes repaired at this establishment. The owner is friendly and knows what he's doing. If you want to buy it have a bike repaired, then iron city bikes is the place for you.

Awesome customer service and knowledge. They really know their bikes, and how to maintain and operate them. If you need an excellent bike to get around the Burgh, they've got great bikes for every entry level.

Took my bike out for a ride today and the chain found itself wrapped around my peddle and it was all messed up. I took it in and Josh through it up on the rack and took a look. Made sure everything was working fine. If I could give these guys a 6 star I would. Thank you!!
